Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1517

Isla's voice was tender, and her expression was particularly vivid.

"Puff..."

The two nurses behind Doctor Westcott couldn't help but burst out into laughter.

They were very amused by Isla. One of them even covered her stomach with her hands, while the other teased at Isla, "You miss him so much! You feel uncomfortable... These are all symptoms of Lovesick Syndrome. Isla, are you talking about Lucas, the Little Prince of the Pediatrics Department?"

Lucas was also a little patient hospitalized in the Pediatrics Department. Because of his fair and handsome appearance, many little girls who were also hospitalized loved to follow behind him and called him Little Prince.

Upon hearing that, Isla's eyes sparkled.

Then, she turned to Tina and said in a clear voice, "Mom, I am in love with Lucas!"

"..." Tina was petrified.

The night fell.

Tina gently drew the curtain up. The ward was illuminated only by one desk lamp.

The little girl had already fallen asleep on the hospital bed. Her thick eyelashes were curved, and the shadows of them were dim. Her little mouth was slightly open, and her breathing was smooth.

Tina's gaze at her daughter was tender. She couldn't help but smile when she thought of the childish words of Isla.

After confirming that her daughter was asleep, Tina bent over and kissed her delicate face, and then quietly left the ward.

The hospital was very close to their home.

It was over nine o'clock now, and the moonlight was bright and clear. Even the quiet road of the residential community was well illuminated tonight.

Tina had rented an apartment in an old-fashioned apartment building that had six stories. She was living on the top floor, and therefore the rental would be relatively cheaper.

There was no elevator in the building, while the passageway was very narrow. However, for Tina, it was not difficult for her to go upstairs and downstairs every day. This could just serve as a way of physical exercise.

What's more, the residential community was very close to the hospital, which made it convenient for her to take care of her daughter who was hospitalized.

Tina returned home and took a shower.

While she was drying her hair, her mobile phone received a text message.

It was from Malee Chiang. She was trying to persuade Tina to participate in the design contest again. She didn't want Tina to miss such a good opportunity and had attached the HTTP URL of the contest in the message.

Tina couldn't help but click the URL.

She roughly browsed the webpage and was deeply impressed by the content. In fact, she had a long-cherished dream in her heart, that one day she might become an outstanding designer. However, the path of her life was completely changed after the accident occurred.

After Tina finished reading the webpage, she opened the drawer.

There was a large stack of drawings, all of which were her design works before.

When Tina was still at school, the teachers often praised her that she was talented in designing. They all believed that she would become an outstanding designer someday. However, Tina received a heavy blow from the cruel reality later on.

She sighed because of her bad luck.

Just as she was ready to put the drawings back, her mobile phone rang again.

Tina thought that the caller might be Malee who was unwilling to give up and wanted to persuade her again. Tina had made up her mind to politely reject Malee's suggestion. When she picked up the phone, she saw that it was a strange number.

She picked it up with hesitation.

At the other end of the line, a deep man's voice sounded. "I'm Wilson!"

"..." Tina was shocked.

She hadn't expected that Wilson would call him directly.

From the day she became his mistress, it was always Terry who was responsible for contacting her. Every message from Wilson was conveyed to her by Terry. Wilson never called her directly. Wilson asked, "Where are you?"

Tina swallowed her salvia and replied hurriedly, "I'm at home!"

"Well, I know!" Wilson said.

Then, he hung up the phone.

Tina was shocked once again.

Her delicate face was confused. She couldn't figure out the meaning of this phone call.

Tina was uncertain about what would happen next. She looked through the calendar to make sure that it was not the weekend today. Then, she felt more relieved. She went back to the bathroom and dried her hair there. She intended to go to the bed early and have a good rest. She would have to work hard tomorrow.

However, as soon as her head touched the pillow, there was a knock on the door.

Tina was shocked once more.

The person who was knocking on the door seemed to have had a good sense of rhythm. The knocking sound was neither heavy nor light, and was particularly obvious in the quiet night.

A sense of alarm arose in Tina's heart.

Who would come to visist her so late at night?

Tina walked towards the door with her slippers. She looked out from the peephole first.

When she saw clearly the sculpture-like face Wilson, her mouth opened very widely.

Wilson Chin?

Tina opened the door in bewilderment.

Wilson was standing outside with one hand inserted in his pocket. He had taken off his glasses as if his eyes were tired after working for a whole day. When the lamplight from Tina's home shone on his face, he narrowed his eyes slightly, while his chin was square and prominent.

Tina was surprised by Wilson's sudden appearance. How did he know where she was living?

But on second thought, she realized that Wilson was a powerful business leader. He could easily learn about her address by giving Terry an order.

She asked blankly, "Mr. Chin, why are you here?"

Wilson put on his glasses and asked with unsatisfaction, "Couldn't I be here?"

Tina was speechless. "What should I say?" She thought.

She couldn't say "No", because it would be too unpolite; she also couldn't say "Yes", because it would be too strange as it was very late at night.

After Wilson finished speaking, he passed over her and walked into the house with his long legs. His hands were crossed behind his back, and he acted casually as if this was his own home.

Tina was dumbstruck. She followed him behind.

She used to be the only person living in this house. Now, there was another person in it. It looked as if the space had become smaller.

Tina forced out a smile. "Mr. Chin, it's already so late at night. Is there anything you want me to do?"

Wilson raised his eyebrow and said lazily, "I'm here to see if there's any other man living together with you, to see whether you're carry on a clandestine love affair."

Then, he strutted around swaggeringly.

Tina's lips twitched. However, she still tried to maintain a fawning smirk. "I wouldn't dare do that!"

Wilson squinted at her, and his thin lips curved slightly, as if he was very satisfied with her answer.

Tina said, "I'll get you a glass of water!"

After she left, Wilson looked around her house carefully.

It was an old-fashioned house with one bedroom and one living room. Its layout was of a one-way nature and relatively not good. The ventilation was still acceptable. As the house was on the top floor, the illumination was okay.

Although the house was small, it had been arranged neatly. Moreover, it was equipped with all the necessary facilities. As soon as Wilson stepped into the room, he smelled a light fragrance, which made him feel comfortable.

Tina went out of the kitchen with a glass of water in her hand. She saw that Wilson had already sat down on the sofa.

His long legs were crossed, while the suit jacket was unbuttoned completely. Two of the buttons of the shirt beneath the suit were also loosened, revealing his robust collarbones. An arm rested on the back of the sofa, and his posture was casual but elegant.

Tina almost doubted if this was virtually her own home.

She handed Wilson the glass of water.

Wilson drank it directly. He acted as if he was drinking coffee slowly.

Tina fetched a small chair and sat opposite to him. She smiled, not daring to say anything rude to him.

After the glass of water was drunk by Wilson completely, she deliberately looked out of the window and said euphemistically, "Mr. Chin, it's getting late..."

He had already drunk the water and seen the house. It was time for him to leave.

Hearing this, Wilson also looked out of the window and nodded meaningfully. "Well...

It's getting late. It's time to go to bed!"

Tina saw him stand up and thought that he was going to leave. She wanted to see him off.

Unexpectedly, Wilson stepped over the tea table...

Then, he held her up directly.
