Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1361

Adam explained, "We got our marriage certificate when we went to Francis."

Bellamy was greatly shocked. Then he came to his senses and was furious. He said with his voice as loud as thunder, "What the heck! Since you two have secretly gotten married, why are you asking permission from me? How dare you!"

Bang!

A loud noise rang.

It was as if something was smashed to the ground.

Sitting in the living room downstairs, Anthea and Meadow looked upstairs from time to time.

Not knowing what Bellamy was thinking, they both felt a little nervous.

When they heard the sound coming, both of them felt tense instantly.

Meadow stood up from the sofa and was about to go upstairs to see what happened when she heard footsteps rang and saw Adam's tall and sturdy figure walking down with his hands in his pockets. Just like when he went upstairs, Adam looked calm but seemed to be vaguely smiling.

Then Bellamy walked down as well.

In contrast, Bellamy's face looked sullen and gloomy.

Anthea wanted to ask Adam secretly, but when she saw Bellamy coming down, she could only swallow her words.

Bellamy sat across from Anthea again. There seemed to be a wave of lingering anger in the corners of his eyes. Anthea noticed it and couldn't help sit up straight.

Bellamy raised his hand to his mouth and coughed twice. He looked at Anthea to show that he had something to say.

Anthea held his breath and got herself all psyched up.

Finally, Bellamy said, "Anthea, I've discussed with the leading cadre and asked him to accept you as his goddaughter. This way, we can make it public that Adam has married his goddaughter, which will preven people from gossiping!"

"The leading cadre likes you very much and was happy to make this decision!"

"But if your identities are exposed to the public, you should be well-prepared and bear the pressure you will face!"

After hearing what Bellamy said, Anthea was

stunned.

She looked at Adam in surprise. Adam held her hand and said, "Dad agrees with us."

Bellamy continued, "Since you've already gotten your marriage certificate, you should take some time to bring your adoptive parents from the town, or we'll go straight over to meet them. The two families should meet! Since Adam is insensible, we should be considerate as elders!"

Bellamy's last word was full of sarcasm, blaming Adam.

Now that Bellamy thought about it, he was still mad!

Just now, he understood. When Adam and Anthea went to get married, they got help from two people.

One was the leading cadre, and the other was Meadow. The leading cadre helped Adam with the procedures in the army, while Meadow helped with the family documents. Bellamy was the only one who didn't know!

Bellamy glared at Meadow.

Meadow turned her face away with guilt.

Bellamy suppressed his anger and said calmly, "Adam is a soldier and is in his second marriage. Besides, your identities are very sensitive. You should do a low-profile wedding!" "Okay," Adam nodded. He already had a plan for the wedding.

He didn't want to make a big fuss and planned to hold a small wedding in Francis. They would only invite parents and some close friends to witness the ceremony.

This time, Anthea felt very flattered.

Feeling overwhelmed, she didn't know what to say for a long time.

Feeling tearful, Anthea had a feeling of sliver lining. She mumbled,"... Thank you, Sir Bellamy!"

"Stop calling me Sir Bellamy," Bellamy snorted coldly.

Anthea was stunned for a moment and then called in a clear voice, "Dad!"

"That's more like it!" Bellamy raised his brows silently.

After announcing the matter, Bellamy sternly said, "Call me when it's dinner." And then he went upstairs.

Bellamy's back view still looked calm and arrogant, but when he arrived at the second floor, he started humming a traditional opera, "Susam left Buttonwood County and came to the main street in the capital city, but he didn't speak about his misery. Yet he longed for a friend to share his sadness and past..."

Meadow couldn't help laughing.

She remembered that the last time Bellamy hummed an opera was when she gave birth to their son!

After lunch, Adam and Anthea left the Chin Mansion in the afternoon.

Anthea was still feeling excited when she got in the vehicle. She held Adam's arm and cheered, "Adam, I'm so happy!"

Adam chuckled and said, "Me too."

It was such a happy thing to gain blessing from their parents for the marriage.

In this way, they didn't have to move to Francis.

Anthea brightened her eyes when she saw the route on Adam's phone, "Are we going to the welfare home now?" "Yeah," Adam nodded.

On the way, Adam walked Anthea through his plans.

Listening to Adam's plans, Anthea asked in surprise, "I thought you wanted to adopt a girl!"

Adam wanted to have a daughter very much.

Six years ago, he had told Anthea that.

Adam thought for a while and said, "Let's adopt a boy."

His first intention was to adopt a girl, but after experiencing the shot last time, he felt that it was better to adopt a boy first.

Although Adam wanted to have a daughter because he feared that a son would share much of Anthea's love, he hoped that there would be another brave man in the family to protect Anthea with him! Anthea suggested, "Or we can adopt a boy and a girl. Then we can have two children!"

However, Adam shook his head and said, "If we want a daughter in the future, we can adopt another one. The children in the welfare home are all orphans, so they are more sensitive. If we adopt two children, they may feel insecure. We can wait until our son gets used to his new life so that when he has a younger sister, he will take care of her."

Anthea raised her face and listened carefully.

Thinking that Adam had taken all these minor details into account, she could not help praising with her eyelashes fluttered, "Adam, you will be a good father!"

When they drove past the crossroad, they could see the welfare home right in front of them.

Adam had already made contact with the dean in private. When they arrived, they saw the dean and a boy playing with a ball, standing under the shade of the tree and waiting.

The little boy looked to be four or five years old, neatly dressed, and cute. Unlike other boys, he was clever. The dean held one of his hands, and his other hand was patting the ball. Adam chose him after careful thoughts.

Not because the boy was very clever but because his father was a deceased soldier. After the soldier died, his young wife seemed unable to face her future life and left the newborn baby behind. Although the little boy was raised in the welfare home, he was sweet and sunny.

He was very friendly to people. Seeing Adam's military uniform, he said excitedly, "I am Erik. I'm four years old. I can eat two bowls of rice for a meal! The dean said that if you come, I'll have a home!"
