Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1336

The next afternoon, Adam proposed to take Anthea to the hospital.

Anthea didn't agree at first, but he insisted.

He wanted to make his attitude clear.

Even if Bellamy did not agree, he still wanted to express his position. He would show his father that he loved Anthea. Whether his father objected or not, he would never be separated from Anthea again in this life.

Anthea certainly knew his intention.

But after coming down from the jeep, she pulled him hesitantly. "Adam..."

Adam looked back at her.

"Let's not talk about our secret marriage for the time being! Your dad has a weak heart and he is still in recovery now. I think we'd better not provoke him!"

Adam frowned.

Anthea blinked her eyes playfully and continued, "I still want to be accepted by him. If his illness gets serious this time, then it will be all my fault. I don want that to happen!" Although she said so, she was actually for Adam's good.

Right now Bellamy was still fine, but if anything bad happened to him when he learned that she and Adam had already been married, Adam would surely feel guilty and remorse.

It was noisy in the hospital during the day, and people were everywhere.

Adam listened to her and led her into the building.

In the ward, Bellamy was already awake.

He wore a hospital gown and was just given a blood transfusion. Although he still looked sick, he was in good spirits. When he did not speak, he was still very dignified and looked difficult to get along with. Bellamy was not surprised when he saw Adam and Anthea enter, and his face darkened at once.

In the morning, he had already known that his eldest son came over in the middle of the night.

Meadow had been accompanying him in the hospital all the time and had just gone back home to have a rest, so after the nurse left, there were only the three of them in the ward.

Although Bellamy was often irritated by his sons, he was well educated and would not do anything like driving people away. When he saw Adam held Anthea's hand, he just looked gloomy, but did not say anything unpleasant.

Adam took the bouquet from Anthea's hand and put it on the table. Anthea took this opportunity to say, "Uncle, how are you doing now?"

Bellamy grunted coldly, as though he did not want to bother with her.

Anthea felt embarrassed, but she had been mentally prepared for a cold face.

"What are you doing here?" Bellamy was fuming.

Adam's voice was faint. "Dad, I was told that you were sent to ICU and were in a coma. And your life had been in danger. But I just heard the nurse say that you could walk this morning." Bellamy had been hospitalized because of a cold.

The cold made him weak. And then he had been in charge of two military shows in succession. He was too tired and caused myocarditis to break out. He fainted in the training ground, but thanks to the timely treatment, he was out of danger on the very day.

Bellamy flew into a rage out of humiliation. He glared at Adam and shouted, "If I hadn't exaggerated my illness it a little more seriously, you would never come back!"

Adam was struck dumbfounded, but that was true.

When he received the urgent news that his father was hospitalized, he could not continue to hide in

Francis and come back without a stop!

Fortunately, his father's life was not in danger.

This was his father's chronic ailment. The military hospital had very advanced technology, while his youngest brother was also a famous expert in heart surgery, so he could rest assured about Bellamy's health What's more, he also came back for another case that was full of doubts!

Bellamy's gaze fixed on Adam resentfully.

His son was not young anymore, but he had actually eloped with a girl!

He was too pathetic!

At this time, the nurse knocked on the door again and came in, saying that one of Bellamy's family needed to go to the attending doctor's office to sign a paper. At present, Adam was the only one in the hospital.

He frowned and glanced at Anthea.

Seeing her nod to him, he finally felt at ease and left the ward with the nurse.

Now Anthea was alone with Bellamy and felt very nervous. She obviously felt that the air temperature even dropped a little.

Bellamy finally turned to look at her, but he was very angry. "Miss Lee, what did you promise me before?"

Anthea lowered her head with guilty. "Uncle, I'm sorry. I broke my promise."

With her hands clasped behind her back, she was in the wrong and did not dare look at Bellamy.

"Oh, so you are aware of that!" Bellamy was furious. Gritting his teeth, he threatened, "Let me tell you one more time. Leave Adam and don't come back. I won't accept you!"

Anthea lowered her head even more.

It was not that she was hurt by his words, but she felt guilty!

Bellamy was still kept in the dark and had no idea that she and Adam had already gotten married secretly. They were now a couple.

Adam made it back within a very short time. It was only five minutes, but he felt that he had not left Anthea alone in the ward, but in the danger of wolves and tigers. He just could not bear to see her being hurt. Bellamy was afraid that he would be angered to the point of death, so he said that he wanted to sleep and waved them away.

It was now a good thing to leave himself alone!

After leaving the hospital, Anthea and Adam went to the pet store and took Boba back.

Last night, they came back from Francis overnight and then went to the hospital. They just had no time to pick it up.

After Anthea left without a word, Boba had been taken care of by Adam. Later, he went to an island abroad to attend his brother's wedding and put the dog in the pet store.

Anthea had separated with Boba for such a long time, and she missed it very much.

When she got home, she intended to wash the dog but was stopped by Adam. He wanted to do this job for her because it was a boy.

Anthea was responsible for drying its hair.

Boba was very intelligent. He knew that he had returned home and was lying in his small nest with his tail crossed lazily.

Adam had been on the phone.

After he hung up, Anthea asked him, "Is it Carter?"

"Yes." Adam nodded.

"How's the investigation going?"

She just heard Adam mention Wesley in prison, as well as the mother and daughter they met in Francis, so she asked this question. Adam replied, "Just as we suspected, it is very likely that the murderer is not Madam Jiles."

"Then what should we do next?" Anthea pursed her lips.

Wesley was given a stay of execution for the crime of intentional homicide, so they had to find new proof before his execution.

Adam picked up a ball next to him and threw it to the wall. Boba, who had been closed-eyed, suddenly pricked up its ears and rushed out. Squinting, Adam said, "Lead the snake out of its hole."
