Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1331

"Close your eyes." Adam ordered.

Anthea closed her eyes obediently.

Her eyelashes were long, leaving two curved shadows.

She did not open her eyes until Adam kissed her. On her ring finger of her right hand, there was a cold and strange feeling. It was a platinum wedding ring.

There were no fancy lines on it, with only a small diamond in the middle.

The diamond ring always represented eternity.

Under the light, it was reflecting a bright light.

Anthea felt that the ring was even more shining than the stars in the sky.

She jerked her head up in surprise and exclaimed, "When did you prepare it?"

"I bought it before we boarded the plane."

Anthea blinked and saw the same wedding ring on Adam's ring finger.

They were a pair.

Anthea reached out and held Adam's big hand.

The two wedding rings were also stuck together like the patterns on their palms.

She fondled it back and forth and asked curiously, "How do you know the size of my finger?"

With a deep smile, Adam answered, "I know clearly about all of you."

Anthea blushed.

He was flirting again!

Anthea's cheeks were red. The light above her head was giving out a warm yellow color, which made her look even more charming.

Then she suddenly thought of something and said, "You haven't proposed to me yet!"

"I have sung a song for you." Adam reminded her.

Anthea thought of the love song Adam had sung for her in a karaoke bar.

She had said six years ago that he had to sing a song for her when he proposed. When they had not yet reunited after returning home, he sang to her. Did he have this intention already at that time? Thinking of this, Anthea shyly buried her face in his arms.

His chest was strong, warm and full of security.

Adam pulled the quilt over their bodies and turned off the light. "Go to sleep. We have to get up early tomorrow morning."

He wanted them to be the first pair to get married of the day.

Anthea stretched out her white arms, eyes sparkling, and moaned, "But I can't fall sleep!"

She was too excited!

They were getting married tomorrow!

Adam patted her back as if he was coaxing a child.

However, Anthea was still unable to cool down. She did not feel sleepy at all.

The next day, the sun rose and seemed to be brighter than ever.

After breakfast, the two of them walked out hand in hand.

Before going to the city hall, they had to wait for someone in front of the apartment building. The air in the south was humid in the morning, so Adam went upstairs to get Anthea a coat to keep her warm. In less than two minutes, a taxi stopped at the entrance of the building.

Carter got out and looked a little travel-stained.

In the distance, he waved his hands and shouted, "Hello, Anthea!"

"Hi!" Anthea greeted him with a smile.

When she saw Carter's under-eye dark circles, she knew that he obviously hadn't rested well, and was deeply moved.

"I've brought everything here!" Carter said to them flatteringly. "A phone call from Captain Chin! And I took the earliest flight at midnight and brought all the things to you at once! Here are your driving licenses and the marriage application!"

The retirement application had been brought back by Bellamy, so Adam was still a soldier now.

If he wanted to get married, he had to submit the marriage application.

Normally, the marriage application would not be approved so soon, but with the help of the old chief, Adam could get past easily.

Anthea took the materials.

Carter said excitedly, "I'm so happy for you guys!"

He had been by Adam's side for many years, and they were as close as brothers. He knew that Adam and Anthea had been on and off for more than six years. Now they finally got together, and he was truly happy forthem.

Especially when he thought that he had helped a lot in their reunion, he felt extremely proud!

"Thank you, Carter!" Anthea smiled.

She opened the leather paper bag and checked everything in it.

At this time, Carter said casually, "In fact, this application has been filed a little late! Six years ago, after we returned from the mission, Captain Chin had asked me to file one for him, saying that you would be 20 years old in that winter!"

After Carter arranged everything and left, Anthea was still in a daze.

She suddenly thought of the past.

When Adam and she were together, she was often worried about their future, but Adam told her many times not to think too much. It turned out that he had already made up his mind to marry her in his heart, regardless of anything.

The sound of steady footsteps sounded from behind.

Anthea turned around and instantly threw herself into his arms.

Half an hour later, they arrived at the city hall.

As Adam's wish, they were the first couple.

There was no queue. After entering the hall, the staff was waiting for them with a smile.

When the staff looked at Adam with his file in hand, Anthea was so nervous that her heart almost jumped out, for fear that the staff would shake his head and say no.

Until he annexed the seal to the document, she was finally relieved.

Beside her, Adam also let out a long sigh.

Like on TV, everything was settled very quickly. Anthea stepped on the cement steps outside and felt a little daze. This seemed not to be true.

But they were really married!

She held the marriage certificate sincerely as if she was holding a precious treasure.

And she just couldn't take her eyes away from it.

She felt it was very sacred. Especially when she saw their faces on the red background, she suddenly had a sense of belonging.

After so many years of hardships, they were a couple at last.

A stream of warmth welled up from the deepest of her heart.

After carefully placing the marriage certificate into her bag, she stood on tiptoe, hooked her arms around Adam's neck and whispered in his ear softly, "Adam, I love you!"

Just like when she was 18 years old, she confessed enthusiastically again.
