Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1320

The car had left, and only its taillights could be seen.

Just as the car passed them by, Bellamy looked over with an obviously unhappy and sharp gaze. Anthea pinched her own mid-brows. She regretted asking Adam to carry her on the back!

Bellamy perhaps had seen them doing so, and he might feel that this was indecent.

The car had disappeared into the night. Anthea hesitated and said, "... Is it really alright?" Adam nodded and confirmed, "No problem."

He put his hand on her head and took advantage of this opportunity to take her into his arms.

Anthea lifted her little face up and looked into his dark eyes. His eye expressions were firm and confident.

She suddenly remembered that Adam and Carter had once coaxed or even forced her to admit her affection toward Adam. At that time, Adam said that if the two of them could have a new start of reunion, then nothing would be able to stop them or separate them again.

Anthea knew that Adam would solve all the problems for her.

She nestled her head into his arms and felt the warmth and heartbeat of his chest, as if she had found a harbor that was safe and reliable.

The next evening, in the Chin's Mansion...

After Adam stopped the jeep, he stepped into the mansion in his military boots.

He went straight upstairs. In the study, Bellamy seemed to have been waiting for him for a very long time. He was sitting in front of his desk with a sullen face.

Meadow was also in the room, sitting on the old-fashioned wooden armchair near the window. She seemed to be worried that the father and son might quarrel, and therefore she stayed there wishing that she might serve as a mediator when needed.

Adam was standing straight as usual.

Bellamy repressed his anger and said sternly, "I don't wish to repeat my words again and again. If you still know that I'm your father, quickly separate with that girl!"

Last time, when he learned that Amelie Celestin was involved in the drugging incident, Bellamy had a bad feeling about it.

Sure enough, Anthea and Adam had reunited again. Yesterday, on his way home, Bellamy happened to

see Adam carrying Anthea on his back!

Adam said, "I'm going to report to you about my marriage plan."

His tone was neither fast nor slow, as if this was the real object of his returning home.

Adam wanted to inform his parents that he would marry Anthea.

Bellamy's eyes widened. "B*stard!"

"Bellamy..." Meadow interrupted at the suitable time point.

Bellamy took a deep breath, yet his anger was still rushing to his brain. "Are all the women in the world dead? Do you really have no other choice? How dare you say you want to report to me about your marriage plan?!! I'm going to kick your ass first!"

Adam's expression didn't change.

When Bellamy saw that his son was still calm and stubborn, he became so angry that he wanted to slam the table.

"Oh, it's not like a war. Don't be so rude!" Meadow came over and said in a warm voice, "Adam, your father and I are doing this for your own good! We are both anxious about your love affair and marriage! We don't want you to be single throughout your life, but Anthea Lee can't be a choice!"

Bellamy couldn't control his temper and slammed the table. "That's right! We would prefer you to be single throughout your life than be with Anthea Lee! Did you hearthat? This is the attitude of me and your mother!"

Adam listened to their words in silence.

Then, he raised his wrist, looked at the watch, and said nonchalantly, "Anthea is about to get off work. I have to go back home and cook for her."

After that, Adam turned around and left.

Bellamy was speechless."...!!!"

It sucked!

His son was a major general, and he usually had a gun with him every day. But now, this major general wanted to go back home, went into the kitchen, and cook for his little girlfriend... What's worse, he actually felt proud, instead of ashamed, of it!

Meadow also looked at her son's back. Although the atmosphere was serious, but she was still absentminded for a while, thinking of something which might appear to be "inappropriate".

She was over sixty years old now, but she still hadn't eaten any meal cooked personally by her husband!

Not even a bowl of porridge!

Meadow looked at her husband with a little bitterness. She paused for a moment, and then said hesitantly, "Bellamy, how about..."

"You shut up!" Bellamy shouted.

He looked angrily at his wife and scolded her, "You shouldn't have said anything unsuitable. Do you know which things are more important?!! Don't you care about your son's future?" Meadow immediately held back her words.

After all, she was a mother. She understood her son's heart very well.

In the past six years, Bellamy and Meadow had always tried to bring Adam and Amelie together, but Adam was indifferent towards Amelie. Meadow once asked him, "Adam, do you still miss that little girl?" Although Adam didn't answer her directly, he didn't deny it.

Now Adam and Anthea had reunited again. This showed that her son had been missing Anthea for the past six years. It was impossible for him to forget her, or to separate the two of them!

If it weren't for the concern of her husband's attitude, Meadow might really decide that Anthea could become Adam's wife!

Bellamy was also at a loss what to do next.

He couldn't allow Adam and Anthea to go on like this. He had to find a way to break them up!

Adam didn't mean to annoy his father by saying that

he would return home and cook for Anthea. He said it because he often did it every day.

The smoke exhaust ventilator was buzzing, and the kitchen was filled with the fragrance of steamed rice.

Anthea hadn't made any progress in her cooking techniques all these years. When she was abroad, most of the time she just ate hamburgers or sandwiches. When Adam was cooking, the only thing she could do was to assist him, such as handing over him a plate or something else.

Adam told her that the smoke was too heavy and instructed her to go outside of the kitchen and wait. She didn't go as he said. She simply leaned on the cooking range and stared at him.

After dinner, the two of them didn't go out for a walk. They just watched TV at home, while Boba was playing near the sofa.

When night fell, Adam came out of the bathroom after taking a bath. Anthea was sitting cross-legged on the bed. She had kept her eyes on him almost for a whole night. It seemed as if she was hesitating whether to say something to Adam.

Adam threw the towel aside and said with a smile, "What do you want to say to me?"

Anthea suddenly rolled on the bed and nestled herself into his arms. "Adam, did you go home

today?"

When Adam went to the hospital to pick her up from work, he was later than usual. He told her that he had returned to the Chin's Mansion.

Anthea also had taken a bath not long ago. The redness on her delicate face, which was caused by the hot water vapor, still had not faded completely. Her big eyes were bright and lovely. Adam only felt that her current look was particularly charming and moving.

Adam's finger pulps gently caressed her temples. "I told my parents that I will marry you."

He said "I will marry you", instead of "I want to marry you".

"I will marry you" stood for action! While "I wish to marry you" only stood for a plan.

Anthea's cheeks blushed, and she was shy.

Adam teased her. "Didn't you give me a lighter as a gift? Did you really want to marry me?"

He emphasized the words "really want" deliberately.

Anthea was so embarrassed that she became angry. "Oh..."

She stretched out her small hands like a little cat stretching out its claws, and then pounced at Adam, pressed him down on the bed.

Her pink lips were just like blooming peach blossoms. Her breath blew on his eyes and nose. Adam's muscles were tightened out of excitement.

He didn't want to hold up his eagerness. He counterattacked and pressed her down on the bed.

Adam's handsome face bent down, and their lips were sealed.

Their breathing became heavier and heavier...

At midnight, the drastic movements of them inside the bedroom finally stopped.

Anthea felt very sleepy, and she was lying softly on the bed. Her black hair rested on the pillow like a waterfall. She was so tired that she fell asleep very soon. Adam carefully wiped her with a tissue and then tucked the corner of the quilt for her.

He looked at her quiet sleeping face for a moment. Then, he kissed her tenderly on the forehead. His deep voice spread in the night. "Anthea, I love you."

In the dream, Anthea seemed to have heard the lover's honeyed words.

The corners of her lips curled up, and she smiled sweetly.
