Princess Comeback

Chapter 80 President Jacob was different from Miss Sarah

While they were arguing, Brian and several colleagues arrived at the noodle shop.

After sitting down, the colleague asked Brian, "Brain, are Jacob and Sarah falling in love quietly?"

"I think so too. Otherwise, why would the president who is usually cool wear such childish T-shirts?" "I think Mr. Jacob treats Miss Sarah differently."

Listening to everyone's comments, Brian thought it seriously.

"It's OK to discuss it privately. After all, Mr. Jacob has not yet succeeded." Brian smiled vaguely. "They are coming."

A few people who were just talking kept silent.

Jacob and Sarah walked in one after the other. The former walked behind, fearing that Sarah would leave halfway.

As they sat down, the noodles were also sent up by the boss of this restaurant.

Seeing Jacob, the boss exclaimed in surprise, "Young man, don't you often come to our restaurant to buy noodles?"

"It's me." Jacob did not deny it.

Everyone was at a loss.

The boss continued: "You always order no scallions, coriander, and chili. I remember you!"

Jacob hooked his lips and said nothing.

A senior manager looked at the boss and said, "This is our president. I'm afraid he didn't come to buy noodles but had other intentions, did he?"

Everyone chuckled, but Jacob didn't stop their talk.

It was Sarah who pressed her toes on the ground in embarrassment.

When the construction was not started, she would occasionally supervise the progress. When Jacob came back from outside, he would always bring her a bowl of noodles.

At the end of the memory, Sarah silently took the vinegar pot and poured herself a little vinegar.

She thought the vinegar taste of this noodle shop was light.

So she poured out most of the pot silently.

"Wow, Miss Sarah, can you eat so much vinegar??"

Several colleagues looked at her in surprise. There was a strong vinegar smell in the air, which made others frown.

Sarah looked at them confusedly, "Hmm? I think the vinegar is light."

Everyone thought it was Miss Sarah who could eat so much vinegar.

Sarah hung her head and hid some emotions quietly.

However, a pair of deep eyes kept staring at her, which made her heart itch.

After a meal, everyone was sweating, but the noodles were delicious.

Brian went to pay the bill. Sarah looked at Jacob and said, "President Jacob, you said there was business."

"What's business?" Jacob asked and shrugged. "Eating with me is business."

Sarah bit her teeth and said: "If there is nothing to do, I will go first."

Then she left without waiting for Jacob to stop her.

Jacob watched her leaving, and for the first time in his life, he felt such a strong sense of bewilderment.

He hoped he could play the role of her bodyguard and follow her forever.

The sun was blazing at noon. Sarah sat in the car and turned on the air conditioner for a while before starting the car.

On the way, she called Brandon and said, "Brandon, what are you doing?"

Brandon sighed and said, "I have just finished an operation. I'm waiting for the assistant to deliver food to me."

"I seem to have lost my sense of taste."

When she just poured a lot of vinegar into her bowl, she found that everyone was shocked.

This made her feel uneasy.

Brandon had said before that this medicine would have side effects, which seemed to be reflected in her so quickly. Brandon also became serious, "You come to my office now."

In Raleigh's Hospital.

Sarah, carrying her bag, hurried down the hospital corridor. Not far from the doctor's office, Brandon was waiting for her. Seeing her anxious look, Brandon patted her back in relief, "Don't worry too much, these are all clinical adverse reactions." Sarah felt uneasy and pinched her palm to keep calm.

"How long have you been taking the current medicine?" Brandon turned on the computer with a leftover lunch box in front of him.

"I've been taking it for more than ten days," Sarah packed the lunch box for him."You have an unhealthy obsession with cleanliness. Why don't you clean up your lunch box today?" Brandon paused and then smiled.

"I'm here for someone."

Sarah leaned against the back of the chair and rubbed her jumping temple. Her uneasiness did not diminish at all.

Even if she knew that death was not far from her, she would still be frightened and afraid.

"Go to have a blood test." Brandon wrote a list and took Sarah to the laboratory.

Brandon put on gloves and goggles and drew a tube of blood from Sarah's arm.

"Press your wound with a cotton swab for ten minutes and wait for me on the rest chair outside." Brandon pointed out the outside space.

Sarah was drawn blood and walked out with a tired face and a limp body.

Half an hour later, Brandon came out with the test sheet in his hand, with a solemn expression.

"Don't look at me with such poor expression. I can't stand it." Brandon covered her eyes and smiled.

Sarah also got up and they walked towards the office.

On the way, she couldn't wait to ask him, "How is it? Is it bad?"

"Your olfactory nerve has been affected by the toxin." Brandon wrung his eyebrows. "What's the matter? Are you still not going to tell me?"

Brandon didn't know how many times he has asked her this question.

Sarah was rarely silent for a while as if she was seriously thinking about whether to confess.

"Sarah, I'm a doctor. You can't hide anything from the doctor!" Brandon was a little angry.

Sarah vomited heavily, "I don't know exactly what the poison is, but Ashley and Megan poisoned me."

"I guessed it!" Brandon's fist hit the table heavily, and he was furious.

"Don't trouble them for me. Now I have too little evidence to sentence them. Besides, I have more important things to do."

They must have something to do with her father's death.

"I'll give you anti-inflammatory drugs for a few days to neutralize the poison in your body, and come here for infusion at 4 o'clock every afternoon on time."

"At 4 p. m.?" Sarah looked at Brandon in surprise.

"I know you are a workaholic, but don't be late." Brandon gave her the written infusion certificate and asked her to put it away.

Sarah breathed a sigh of relief and shook off the list in her hand. "Then I'll come here this afternoon."

Not long after she left, the door of Brandon's office suddenly opened.

He was surprised to see the visitor.

"It's you."
