Pampered By My Mr. Lawyer (Benjamin and Madelyn)

Chapter 292 Don't Touch Me

Chapter 292 Don't Touch Me

Benjamin attended a business dinner after getting off work. He was in a bad mood, so he had drunk a lot and felt dizzy when getting in the car.

The driver didn't know about his private life. While opening the car door for him, he casually said, "Mr. Clark, you are drunk! Mrs. Clark will be unhappy when you return home. Women don't like drunk men!" Benjamin leaned back in the backseat, took a cigarette from the case, and lit it. After blowing out a puff of smoke, he chuckled, "She won't care."

Madelyn was cold to him and did not allow him to touch her. And they had not had sex for several months. He was like a single man now.

Most couples had conflicts but could become reconciled soon. However, she had moved to another room. It was difficult for him to talk to her, let alone sleep with her!

The driver sensed something wrong and didn't dare to say anything more. So, he walked to the driver's seat. When he was about to start the car, a soft voice said, "Mr. Clark!"

Benjamin looked over and saw Charlotte outside! She had a cane and could not walk steadily.

Charlotte followed his gaze, looked at her leg, and said, "The doctor said my leg will recover in two months. There will be no sequelae!"

After finishing speaking, she showed a pitiful look. She had thought Benjamin would visit her after arguing with his wife. But he had not gone to see her after she had waited for a long time. However, it did not matter. If he did not visit her, she could take the initiative to meet him!

Benjamin nodded at her and told the driver to drive.

The driver responded, turned the car around, and drove toward the main road. Watching the expensive black RV pass by, Charlotte sneered. Then, she threw away the cane and weakly fell to the ground, looking pitiful.

Seeing this, Benjamin frowned, considered it, and said, "Stop the car!"

The driver was confused.

Benjamin lightly said, "Help her into the car and drive her home!"

The driver hesitatingly said, "Mrs. Clark will be unhappy if she finds out!"

Benjamin was a little drunk, so he stroked his forehead and said, "She will not know if you don't tell her. We will send Charlotte home. It's no big deal."

The driver fell silent, got off, and helped Charlotte into the car.

When Charlotte sat beside Benjamin, he closed his eyes to meditate without talking to her. But she could smell the pleasant pine scent on him. She quietly turned sideways to look at him. His profile was perfect. His facial features were angular, good-looking, and noble. And the car was highly luxurious. She greedily enjoyed all this, leaned over with a blush on her face, sniffed his excellent smell, and imagined herself making out with him. She wondered whether he would hold her down and whether his expression would be distorted and affectionate.

When she thought of this, her heart skipped a beat. Looking at his snow-white shirt, she came up with an idea, gently leaned over, and kissed it, leaving a light orange lip mark. It looked evident on the white cloth so his wife would not miss it.

When Benjamin frowned and opened his eyes, she quickly sat up straight.

Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of an apartment with a friendly environment.

When the driver helped Charlotte out of the car, Benjamin sat still with no intention of getting off. Charlotte bent over and softly said, "Mr. Clark, thank you for sending me back. If you need me to explain to Mrs. Clark, I make it clear to her that there is nothing between us!"

Looking at her face, he smiled without saying anything.

When the car started, Benjamin did not close his eyes to rest. He had noticed Charlotte lean over just now. She was young and looked like Eleanor. She was Eleanor's sister but courted him. He knew he could sleep with her if he gently hugged her. Then, he would have a young and obedient lover and let her be Eleanor's substitute.

Those few seconds of ambiguity were a test for himself. He wanted to see how much he cared about Madelyn!

When Charlotte leaned against him, he had thought of Madelyn and how vulnerable she looked when she played the piano with her eyes closed. She could make his heart violently throb, but Charlotte could

not.

After weighing his options, he chose Madelyn and his family.

Benjamin exited the car and looked up at the Clarks' mansion. It was late at night, so most of the lights were off. But the light in Madelyn's bedroom was still on.

He walked through the entrance hall and slowly approached the second floor. After seeing Everest and Francis, he went to Madelyn's bedroom. She had not locked the door, so he quickly entered.

She was leaning on the sofa in soft silk pajamas and had fallen asleep with a novel in her hand. Her exposed skin looked fair and smooth under the lamp.

Benjamin liked her body. He had not made out with her for a long time. He was drunk tonight, so he intended to proposition her. After leaning over, he hugged and kissed her.

Madelyn didn't wake up. She was more obedient in her sleep.

After kissing her for a while, he was turned on and couldn't help teasing her with his hands.

When she woke up and opened her eyes in a daze, she saw his handsome face and the orange lip mark on the collar of his white shirt! A woman left it!

When she quietly stared at it, he still felt sexy and tried to take off her pajamas.

Her face turned pale when she shouted, "Let go of me!"

Benjamin was confused. He thought she did not want to have sex with him because she was angry with him for what had happened a few days ago. So, he gently bit the soft flesh behind her ear and asked, "Are you still angry?"

Madelyn was lying on the sofa. Her body was plump and attractive, but her words were cold.

"You met Charlotte, right?"

Benjamin froze. After a while, he raised his eyes to look at her and said, "I bumped into her and gave her a ride!"

After fixing her pajamas, Madelyn deftly unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt with her slender fingers and revealed the lip mark.

The orange lipstick was sexy.

Benjamin frowned, "We sat in a car with a driver. What could we do?"

He didn't like the smell of another woman, so he slowly unbuttoned his shirt, took it off, and threw it into the trash can.

Then, he turned around to look at Madelyn and said, "I didn't cheat on you!"

Madelyn didn't bother to get angry. She quietly sat and calmly said with moist eyes, "Yes, you didn't cheat on me! You just helped her back to school, rented an apartment for her, paid her tuition, and gave her a good job! Is there any difference from raising a mistress?"

Benjamin frowned, "I don't want to have a mistress!"

Madelyn didn't want to see his face. She stood up, walked to the French window, looked at the night outside, and murmured, "Benjamin, you allowed her to get close to you and provoke your legal wife! You and she have crossed the line! If the driver had not been there tonight, you would have tested yourself further and gone to her rental apartment. She would have taken off your coat and kissed you. If you had felt good about it, you would let her be your mistress and Eleanor's substitute!"

Benjamin was smoking a cigarette. And the cigarette butt burned his finger.

After a while, he said, "Madelyn, you should not have spoken so harshly!"

Madelyn didn't argue with him. Instead, she whispered, "The truth is always harsh to hear! Benjamin, you came home tonight because I am giving you the silent treatment. Otherwise, you would not have refused her when she threw herself on you!"

While speaking, she felt heartbroken. After all, the truth was harsh to hear.

Benjamin had drunk too much and had a headache. Staring at her back, he knew she would not talk with him tonight. So, he stroked his forehead and said, "We'll talk tomorrow! Go to bed early!" Madelyn stood still. When he held the doorknob, she whispered, "Take your shirt out!"

When he turned around, he only saw her alienating back and couldn't help suspecting she had never loved him.

Was it natural that they used to be in love?

After Benjamin left, Madelyn slowly walked to the sofa and sat down. She expressionlessly stroked the novel she had read. She had expected this to happen since he had taken over Charlotte's matter. She had never forgotten how affectionate he had been when he had met Eleanor years ago. He had lost his memory when waking up. His crush was dead, so he could not resist a perfect replacement. She knew what he was thinking. If she were unmarried, she would fight for him. But she had Francis and Everest. She did not allow herself to live in worries about gains and losses because it would set a bad example for her children.

Maybe it was time to decide now.

Madelyn opened the drawer of the bedside table and took out two agreements.

One was a separation agreement, and the other was a divorce agreement.

Madelyn took care of her two children as usual early in the morning.

She and Benjamin had been at odds recently but tried their best to hide it from the children. However, Everest was sensitive and could feel her parents were not as close as before.

While having breakfast, she could not help asking, "Mom, are we moving out?"

Last night, she had heard Madelyn talk on the phone about looking for a house with five bedrooms.

Madelyn was stunned to hear this. She pinched her little face and smiled, "Everest, are you willing to live with me? Our new house is close to your kindergarten. I can hold your little hand and walk you to kindergarten daily!"

And she could go to pick up Everest with Francis.

Benjamin heard she would move out with the kids when he came downstairs.

He walked over and sat down next to her. He didn't want to argue with her before the children, so he whispered, "Let the driver send Everest to kindergarten. We need to talk!"

Madelyn wiped Everest's mouth and casually nodded after a long while. She was always cold. Despite seeing the solid evidence last night, she had not lost her temper.

After Everest entered kindergarten, Benjamin picked up the car keys and said, "I'll drive you to the company. We'll talk on the way!"

Madelyn agreed.

Sitting in the passenger seat, she could smell the strange feminine fragrance in the car, although one night had passed. She thought Charlotte left it.

She took out two agreements from her briefcase. One was a separation agreement, and the other was a divorce agreement.

Then, she whispered, "If we sign the separation agreement, we will divorce two years later. If we sign the divorce agreement, we can immediately get divorced. The difference is the visitation rights in the next two years."

Benjamin casually flipped through the two agreements.

There was little difference between the two documents because there was no property division. The Everest Group was Madelyn's. And she did not want anything but the two children!

Benjamin closed the documents, threw them on the center console, took a cigarette, and lit it.

Smoke soon filled the car.

Madelyn felt a little suffocated, so she silently opened the car window.

Suddenly, Benjamin asked, "Do you think my father will allow you to take away the two children of the Clark family?"

Madelyn's eyes turned slightly red when she said, "He has agreed!"

Benjamin's fingers holding the cigarette slightly trembled before he asked in a muffled voice, "Is it because of what happened last night? Madelyn, I didn't sleep with her! I didn't even kiss her!" It was she who had cold-shouldered him for too long!

He did not agree to divorce or to separate. He knew there was a big problem between them. He wanted to solve it, so he grabbed her hand and gently said, "Let's go out to play! Only the two of us." Madelyn pulled her hand back, leaned back in the seat, and tiredly said, "Benjamin, I want a divorce!"

Then, she opened the car door, got off, and entered another car.

Benjamin chased after her and patted the car door, saying, "Madelyn, get out! We need to talk!"

He did not want a divorce. It was not because of his reputation. He did want Everest and Francis to become single-parent kids!

Henry was in a dilemma, so he asked, "Mrs. Clark?"

Madelyn flatly said, "Start the car!"

Then, the black RV slowly passed by Benjamin. Madelyn had thought she would not feel sad anymore, but her eyes still turned red. She was disappointed in him but had deeply loved him before. However, a different beginning would naturally lead to a different ending.
