Stella walked in just as Yvonne was about to leave for the day. Upon seeing her, Yvonne greeted, ”
Welcome back, Mrs. Foley.”
“Are you leaving?” The staff of Yolvencrest Estate lived in a nearby small building, only about 20 feet away, so it would only take a few minutes for them to arrive if needed.
“Yes.” It was exactly 8:00 pm. Yvonne said, “Mr. Foley is in the study upstairs.
After saying that, she suddenly called out, “Mr. Foley.”
Stella looked up to see Brian standing on the second–floor railing. He was looking down at her with a cold
expression,
He wondered why she was back since she said that he was bothering her.
“You can head back first,” Brian ordered Yvonne.
“Okay. Mrs. Foley, there’s some chicken soup in the pot. Remember to drink it later.” Yvonne said before
she left.
Stella didn’t go to the kitchen. Instead, she went upstairs
“Why are you back? Brian’s gaze was cold as he looked at her.
“I came back to pack my things,” Stella replied calmly.
Brian’s expression grew even colder, but he didn’t say anything more.
Ignoring his cold demeanor, Stella entered the dressing room and pulled out a suitcase to see which
items belonged to her.
The jewelry rack in the dressing room was filled with jewels.
Some were worth tens of millions of dollars, while others were worth around one million dollars. All of
them were precious jewels.
Stella knew that these jewels belonged to Brian’s wife, not her. Just like the villa at Tarovian Terrace, she
could use them but not take them away.
After a moment of contemplation, she didn’t take a single item. It suddenly hit her that she had nothing of
her own throughout her two years of marriage.
She then walked over to the handbag area, intending to take a few bags worth hundreds of thousands of
dollars to sell.
But when she raised her head, she saw Brian glaring coldly at her at the doorway. Her body froze..
“What are you doing?” He stepped closer while looking at her.
Holding two bags in her hands, Stella pursed her lips. “I’m taking a few bags with me.
“You don’t have the ability to buy them yourself, so you want to use my things to attract rich guys?” Brian’s
words dripped with sarcasm.
Stella retorted, “What use do you have for them? Do you want to keep them for Jessica? I’ve used all
these.”
‘It’s my business who I want to keep them for. But you’re not allowed to take anything away.”
As Brian walked in, he swiftly took the bags from her hand.
Stella was startled. The next moment, he took a step forward and trapped her between the rack and
himself.
“What are you doing? Stella didn’t understand where his temper was coming from. Didn’t they already
talk about it in the afternoon?
“Don’t even think about taking the clothes, let alone the bags.”
Some of the clothes are my own designs. Can’t I take my own things?”
“No, when they’re here, they’re mine. His expression was grim.
Stella felt that he was standing too close. His lips were almost touching hers.
Feeling uncomfortable, she raised her hand to push him away, but he suddenly grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head.
Stella’s body arched, and her lips grazed Adam’s apple
He stiffened at once.
“What are you trying to do? I’m just here to take my own things,” Stella said.
“I’ve already told you. Everything here is mine.” Brian glared at her. “Don’t even think about taking my
things to seduce other men.”
Stella felt he was utterly unreasonable.
She was trying to raise money, but in his eyes, she seemed like a slut who only wanted to seduce men.
She wanted to break free from him, but she couldn’t. His strength was too great.
She could only say, “Fine, if you don’t agree, I won’t take anything. Can I leave now?”
“No.” Brian glared at her. Suddenly, he leaned closer, and their lips touched.
Stella was stunned.
