Our Journey Back To Love

Chapter 30

Chapter 30

Sharon was very satisfied with Stella’s compliance. So, when they arrived at Yolevencrest Estate, she even gifted Stella two boxes of expensive oatmeal.

“Stella, you have to care for your health. Please, take these.”

“Thank you, Sharon.” Stella took them with a smile..

Sharon added, “I do hope that it goes without saying that this deal stays between us.”

“Of course,” Stella readily agreed.

Sharon promptly ordered the driver to start the car.

Stella held the boxes as she stood in the courtyard as she felt the burden weighing down slowly dissipate.

Her father would be free as long as Brian agreed to the divorce.

She chanted in her mind, “Stella, you can do this!”

The instant she stepped foot into the estate, Yvonne asked her, “You’re home, Mrs. Foley. Have you had breakfast?”

“I haven’t.”

Stella was all smiles. She was bursting at the seams with joy. Naturally, she had an appetite.

Yvonne wasted no time serving her a nutritious breakfast.

Stella took her time enjoying her meal.

Just then, she heard a maid say, “Mr. Foley, you’re home!”

“Is Mrs. Foley here?” Brian asked the maid.

“Yes. She’s currently having breakfast at the dining hall

“Alright,” Brian said before striding into the dining hall.

He had gone to the Foleys‘ residence to pick Stella up, but the servants had claimed that Stella had already left. So, he immediately drove to Yolvencrest Estate.  S~ᴇaʀᴄh the (ꜰind)ɴʘvel.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Stella instinctively looked at the clothes Brian was wearing.

It was the same suit he had on yesterday. It seemed he had accompanied Jessica for the night.

However, she wasn’t sad. If anything, she wished Jessica all the best. That way, Jessica could marry into the Foleys as soon as possible.

Once that happened, her father would be a free man.

Stella couldn’t help the smile tinging her lips at the thought. Then, she greeted Brian, “Morning.”

She had already decided to play Cupid for Jessica and Brian after her chat with Sharon.

Brian was initially observing her. So, he was caught off guard upon hearing her words. It took him a second to reply, “Morning.

Then, he sat down and casually inquired, “Why didn’t you have breakfast at the Foley residence? The servants said you’ve already returned when I got there.

Stella was momentarily surprised. “You actually went to pick me up?”

“Yeah, you don’t have a car, don’t you?” Brian took a sip of coffee.

Stella answered, “I bumped into Sharon this morning. She offered me a ride.”

The second Brian heard Sharon was involved, he immediately shot a glance at her. It seemed as though he was observing her expression. “Did she say anything?”

“No.”

It was more than obvious that Stella was in a good mood.

Brian said, “Just ignore my mother if she said anything You don’t have to care about it.”

Sharon was ill. So, everyone tended to let her do as she pleased.

“It’s fine. I’m used to it.” She ate a raspberry before saying, “How’s Jessica?”

Why would she ask after Jessica?

He regarded her warily. She was enjoying her meal. The look on her face was natural and adorable. It didn’t seem as though she was upset.

Brian stared at her before replying, “She’s fine. She fell yesterday night and twisted her ankle. It’s nothing

serious. She’ll just be in observation fortwo days.”

“Alright, then.” Stella nodded. “Is the baby doing fine?”

Her main focus was entirely on the baby.
