Once Upon A Rejection

When we got back home we went straight to our room. I wasn’t used to being in my wolf form yet. After running around the forest I felt as though my whole body was consumed by a dull ache. It would probably be gone by the morning though.

“You should lay down and have a rest.” Grayson said, noticing how stiff I was as I sat down on the edge of the bed.

“I would like to take a bath.” I said.

I remembered how enticing that bath looked this morning. It was exactly what I needed right now to ease my aching muscles. I hadn’t had time to check the bathroom cupboards, maybe there were some nice smelling oils or something I could use in there.

I looked over towards Grayson. He looked a little disappointed, I think he might have had plans for me. I wasn’t sure what he had wanted to do but I had an idea of my own. That bath was more than big enough for both of us.

“I didn’t say I wanted to take a bath alone.” I said. A smile crept onto Grayson’s face.

“I like the sound of that.” He said.

He walked past me into the bathroom. I heard him switch the water on and open one of the cupboard doors. I followed him into the bathroom just in time to see him pouring some kind of liquid into the running water. The room started to fill with the scent of cherry blossom.

I took the bottle from his hand and put it on the sideboard next to the sink. I turned my attention towards Grayson. I pulled him close to me and tilted my head upwards. He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine, pulling me closer towards him.

I slipped my hands under his shirt and ran them over his bare chest, enjoying the feel of his warm skin against mine. I could feel Grayson’s fingers running up my back until he reached my zip. He pulled my zip down.

My dress fell from my shoulders and tumbled to the floor. I yearned for him, I wanted to feel my skin against his. I started undoing the buttons on his shirt, moving as quickly and accurately as I could. Grayson gave a small grunt of frustration and helped me by removing his trousers while I focused on his shirt.

Moments later we were both naked. I watched him in awe as he stood in front of me. His body was a homage to perfection. Every curve was exactly as it should be. I could watch him for hours but then again, why would I do that when I could have my hands all over him.
