Chapter 985 This Wine Is So Sweet
"Cheers!" Sydney clinked glasses with Julien.
After a crisp sound, she withdrew her glass and tilted her head to take a sip of wine.
The moment it entered her mouth, she made a surprised sound.
Julien turned his head to look at her and asked, "What's wrong?"
Sydney put the glass down and said, "This wine is so sweet."
Julien smiled and nodded, "Of course, I chose it for you. It's more like juice than wine and not as strong as other red wines. It's sweet and suitable for women with low alcohol tolerance. "That's really good." Sydney blinked, tilted her head, and took another sip.
"Do you like it?" Julien asked, fondling the glass.
Sydney replied, "Yeah. It's perfect."
"I'll send a few cases to Shallow Bay. I have a winery making this wine," Julien said as he took a sip.
Sydney was somewhat tempted, but she did not immediately agree. She asked, "How much for a bottle of this wine?"
"It is quite cheap. 30,000 dollars a bottle," Julien answered.
Sydney's mouth twitched.
Was that cheap?
Yes, for a tycoon like him, it was indeed cheap.
"One case is enough for a year. How long will it take me to drink several cases of it? I'm afraid I'll be tired of it before I can finish it." Sydney held up a finger.
Julien thought for a moment. "In addition to this red wine, there are other fruit wines. Do you want to have a case of each?"
"Other fruit wines?" Sydney was surprised.
Julien nodded. "Yeah. It's a winery after all."
"Well, yes." Sydney tilted her head.
She couldn't resist it.
His offer was so attractive. And that was exactly what she liked.
She liked to eat desserts and have a few drinks now and then, but she liked mild wine which tasted like juice.
So when faced with Julien's offer of those wines, Sydney was allured.
Looking at Sydney's glowing eyes, Julien became even more delighted, and his smile broadened. "OK, I'll have someone arrange it tomorrow." Sydney nodded. "Cheers."
She held out her glass.
Julien looked down and clinked glasses with her with a bright smile.
The two stood side by side, sipping their wine while looking out at the night sky and the bustling city.
They rarely felt so relaxed.
Soon, Julien tilted his head and downed his glass. He turned slightly sideways and looked at Sydney beside him. "Leaf."
"Yes?" Sydney lowered her glass and looked at him. "What's wrong?"
Julien didn't say anything. He squatted down, put his own glass on the floor, got up, and pulled her hard into his arms by the wrist.
Sydney, who was caught off guard, fell into his arms. The glass in her hand slipped onto the ground with a clatter and broke into pieces.
Even the last bit of red wine in it spilled out, wetting a small part of the ground.
Luckily, before the glass fell, it was in Sydney's hand further from the window.
Otherwise, it would have fallen off the building.
"Julien, what are you..."
Before Sydney could finish, Julien kissed her red lips.
Sydney's eyes widened as she froze.
Obviously, she did not expect Julien would kiss her after he dragged her into his arms.
Julien was excited after drinking.
Sydney flushed and pushed Julien away, panting slightly, "Don't mess around."
"I'm not messing around." Julien wiped the water at the corner of his mouth with his thumb, which looked sexy and seductive.
Sydney's face became even hotter. "You're. This is the balcony, and you..."
"This is a hotel," Julien interrupted her with passionate eyes that made her heart tremble. "Since we came to a couple's hotel, we should do something to make this trip meaningful, right?" Sydney was shy and annoyed. "I don't think so. Can we not just sleep?"
She felt Julien was lustful.
Julien laughed, "Yes, but if we don't do anything else, people will wonder if we have any health problems."
Sydney rolled her eyes.
She thought, 'Come on. Don't get me involved.'
If a man and a woman went to the hotel together and nothing happened, others would only suspect the man, rather than the woman, had health problems.
However, Julien was cunning enough to drag her in.
As he saw Sydney's contemptuous eyes, Julien's lips twitched. He then looked away and coughed awkwardly. "Well, Leaf, do you not want to do something with me in this room? Maybe it will be very thrilling." He said coaxingly.
Sydney's heartbeat suddenly quickened as she thought of the starry decorations in the room.
She suddenly could not refute Julien's words.
She loved the suite's decor and wanted to spend one night in a room like this.
'Oh!'
Sydney covered her face.
She thought, 'How did I become like this?'
I used to be an innocent woman.
'I had never been interested in such things and had always been shy before.
'Yet now, I yearn for stimulation and have become so bold and lecherous.
'Am I still that innocent woman?
'It's all Julien's fault for corrupting me.'
Thinking about it, Sydney grunted in annoyance and squirmed.
Seeing this, Julien knew she had agreed. His eyes narrowed and flashed before he lowered his head and kissed her again.
This time, Sydney didn't resist.
But after a few moments, she suddenly thought of something. Her eyes widened as she pushed Julien away.
Julien was now very excited. Being suddenly pushed away, he felt tortured.
Julien's veins throbbed in his temples. He gritted his teeth to restrain himself and asked, "What's wrong again?"
"I suddenly remembered." Sydney blinked.
Julien took a breath, forced himself to endure, and asked, "What did you remember?"
Sydney looked at him. "Do you remember when we walked out of Sofia's studio, I said that I seemed to have overlooked something?"
Julien nodded. "Yes."
"I know what I've overlooked." Sydney clapped her hands. "It's a small detail. Sofia was going to the dressing room to help me change my dress, but before that, she suddenly had something to do. She said she would come back to help me as soon as she was done, but in the end, until we went back to the lounge, Sofia didn't go to the dressing room to help me. Instead, she sat in the lounge, waiting for us. What does this mean? It means that Sofia went to the dressing room after dealing with her things, but she heard what we were doing inside, so she left quietly..."
Saying that, Sydney held her forehead, her face full of embarrassment.
Julien gazed at her. "And then?"
"And then?" Sydney stared at him in amazement. "Do you not understand what I'm saying? I mean Sofia heard what we were doing in the dressing room." "So what?" Julien grunted indifferently.
Sofia just heard it. It was not like she saw it.
Looking at Julien's unconcerned expression, Sydney suddenly felt upset. "Do you not feel embarrassed?"
