My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth)

Chapter 230

Chapter 230

Arabella's eyelashes trembled a bit. She said quickly, "I...I am not watching anything!"

Kenneth raised his eyes, and looked mature and charming. He glanced at the box, "What is in the box? Is it something bad? Is it for you, or for me?"

Arabella took a few seconds to understand his meaning.

Arabella quickly hid that box under the bed and said, "This is my birthday gift. You must respect my privacy and you can't peep at it. I... I am going to take a shower!"

Arabella then slid into the bathroom.

Looking at her taking off like a rat, Kenneth hooked his thin lips. She was still young. She just turned 20 today, but he was 27 years now, an age of a mature man. Though he never had a woman before, he knew things between men and women. She must have been taught bad things judging from the way she hid the thing. At that time, Kenneth noticed the vibration of his phone. It was Stephany Snyder.

Kenneth picked it up.

Stephany couldn't believe Kenneth would pick up her call. She said, "Mr. Lucero, why did you abandon me? Why didn't you pick up my phone call? I am very sad now. I..." Kenneth put one of his hands in his pocket and interrupted Stephany's words directly, "Ms. Snyder, I will give you three seconds to say what you want to say."

Stephany was sort of shocked when hearing his words. She cried in a gaunt voice, "Mr. Lucero, I like you. I have been in love with you for so many years. Why did you marry Bella..." "Two seconds have passed, one more sentence left."

Listening to Kenneth's cold and ruthless voice, Stephany clenched her mobile phone. She took a breath and cleaned the tears on her face, "Mr. Lucero, I have saved your life before. Do you remember that you promised me that I could ask for three things? I have decided on the third thing. I want you to divorce Bella and marry me."

Stephany felt so regrettable then. She hated Arabella for substituting her to marry Kenneth. She also hated that she asked for the third wish too late. It was always her goal to marry Kenneth. Now she wanted Kenneth to divorce Arabella and marry her.

Kenneth did not change his expression. His low and mellow voice was so flat without ups and downs. He said, "Divorcing Arabella and marrying you, there are two wishes. Which one do you want, Ms. Snyder?"

"..."

"I won't promise either of your two wishes."

Stephany's pupils contracted. She had always thought that she was having the ace in the hole because Kenneth was a person of his word. He would promise no matter what she asked for. However, he refused her requests.

"Mr. Lucero, you told me that you would promise me whatever I wanted. And now you are going to break your word?"

Kenneth hooked his lips and said, "So what if I break my word? I am the one who makes the rules in this game."
