"Well," Peter began, a slight edge to his tone, "what if we propose to Frank that he drop the charges against Marcus in exchange for Alexia?"
Maximus's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing as if he wanted to tear his brother apart. "You're insane!"
"No, listen. She's his daughter. He should be the one taking care of her, not us. We can use her as leverage.
Maximus's jaw tightened. "It's not as simple as you're making it sound, Peter."
"And why wouldn't it be?"
"Because my son is taking care of her."
