My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 51

Chapter 51

How could Esther's daughter be his daughter? How could Tinkerbell possibly be his daughter?

Bradley searched each corner in his memory and failed to find any about him sleeping with Esther. He rubbed between his brows with his slender fingers. What had gone wrong?

If the DNA paternity test had been done at a different hospital, he might have suspected that there was a problem with the test. However, the paternity test was done at a hospital owned by the Warner Group there could be no problem with the test.

When he opened the envelope, there were no traces of it being opened and resealed. This meant that it was an authentic DNA paternity test report.

Bradley held the test report tightly in his hand, feeling a wave of inexplicable sadness in his heart as he stared at the numbers "99.99%" on the paper.

After a long moment, he asked in a cold voice, "Did Esther give birth to twins back then?"

"Yes, Madam gave birth to twin girls in prison," Cole replied honestly.

"I don't believe this paternity test. Use my sample to do another paternity test with the other girl."

Bradley was significantly confused with this result. He had to do another paternity test to confirm his suspicions.

Cole apologetically said, "Mr. Warner, Madam's two daughters, the one called Pixie, has been adopted by kind-hearted people and taken abroad. As for Tinkerbell, Madam's already cremated her and buried her!"

Bradley raised his sharp gaze and locked Cole in with his icy glare. "Who allowed them to adopt her without my permission?"

Bradley vented all his anger on Cole. "Cole, use your brain before you do anything. When you sent the children to the welfare home, didn't you tell the director that you were just fostering them there?" Cole was also quite distressed about this.

"Mr. Warner, when I sent the children over, I told the director that their mother would come for them. when she was released from prison. Over the years, I've also paid for their foster care monthly. It wasn't until Mr. Searle told me tonight that I learned Pixie was adopted."

Bradley grabbed the paternity test in a fit of rage and hurled it at Cole.

"Go check!"

The paternity test showed that Tinkerbell and Pixie were his daughters. Even though these daughters had not come into the world in his anticipation, they were still his daughters and not for anyone else to adopt.

"Mr. Warner, I'll check on the couple who adopted Pixie immediately." Cole picked up the paternity test from the floor and respectfully placed it back on Bradley's desk.

Just as he was about to turn around, Bradley called out to him coldly, "Stop."

Cole straightened his body and turned around mechanically. "Mr. Warner, do you have any other orders?"

Bradley asked coldly and heartlessly, "Is she dead yet?"

Cole answered respectfully, "Madam's saved and needs to spend 24 hours in the ICU. She'll be transferred to a regular ward tomorrow. But the experts say that she has no will to live..." "Go tell her." Cruel words spilled from Bradley's thin lips. "Good... Good if she's dead."

"Yes."

Cole left the suite and went to the underground parking lot when Bradley waved a hand.

With Tinkerbell and Pixie becoming Bradley's daughters, he dared not slack and went right to Sunflower Welfare. After Cole left, Bradley tried to return to work, but the digits on the DNA paternity test echoed in his mind like a curse.

He threw the report in the drawer instead but was still unable to concentrate on the words of his work document.
