Chapter 2458
That was why it was best if she never saw him again.
That was the only way they could both remain calm.
That way she could live in peace.
Selina understood her intentions.
She had been hoping she would say this all along.
For her to tell Tremaine to leave.
They shouldn't allow him to shorten her already very short life span.
"Don't worry. I'll tell Tremaine that you need to rest and that you shouldn't get emotionally triggered again." Yesseca nodded.
She smiledd. "I'm fine, Selina. Don't worry. I'm happy every day."
Selina's nose itched as she felt the urge to cry.
She didn't believe Yesseca, she wasn't as happy as she claimed.
Yesseca only said that to make her feel better.
She didn't want her to be sad.
That was who Yesseca was.
Even during the last moments of her life, she still cared about other people, like she always did.
She was a very kind woman.
Why did God have to be so cruel to her?!
Selina could feel her tears about to stream down her cheeks.
Worried that Yesseca would find out, she quickly stood up and said, "You should get some rest. I'll head out for now."
Selina went to see Matthew after she left.
She wasn't going to talk to Tremaine herself, she was going to tell Matthew to speak to him for Yesseca.
Matthew replied quietly, "Okay. I'll talk to him later."
Selina frowned. "I'm afraid that he'll refuse to leave. If he doesn't want to leave, Matthew, try your best to drive him away. Yesseca can't risk getting triggered again." Matthew chuckled bitterly.
He said quietly, "He'll leave."
Selina was very confused.
Matthew's eyes glimmered as he replied, "He
cares about Yesseca. He'll leave."
Inside the ward.
Tremaine was having a nightmare.
In his nightmare, Yesseca's body was being ripped apart by the darkness and suddenly disappeared.
He searched frantically for Yesseca.
He refused to give up looking for Yesseca in the darkness.
But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find her.
He then collapsed in the darkness.
Suddenly, he heard someone calling out to her, "Mr. Tremaine, please wake up. You need to wake up Nashaland and her people need you, so please wake up."
It was Sheldon.
Tremaine forced himself to wake and opened his eyes blearily.
He cried out for joy when he saw Tremaine's eyes opening, "Mr. Tremaine, you're finally awake!"
Tremaine staggered to get up for a few seconds, but then his face turned anxious as he called out, "Yessica!" Sheldon stopped Tremaine and said, "Mr.
Tremaine, Miss Cowell is fine now. However, she refuses to see you anymore."
During his trip to Agaphen City, Tremaine nearly had a full head of white hair. Now he had collapsed.
Sheldon was worried that Tremaine might collapse again if he saw Yesseca again.
"Mr. Tremaine, we need to return to Nashaland at once," Sheldon begged, "You haven't gone back in such a long time. The office is a mess People are speculating about you and Madam Quartley has been asking where you are."
"Mr. Tremaine, let's go back to Nashaland at once! We can't delay this any longer!"
Tremaine ignored him.
Right now, he only had one person in mind.
That person was Yesseca.
Yesseca was the only thing that occupied his mind now. He didn't care about anything else right now.
"I want to see Yesseca," Tremaine insisted.
Sheldon's heart sank when he saw how stubborn Tremaine was.
Just then someone walked in and
said, "Tremaine, go back to
Nashaland. Yesseca Yesseca doesn't you anymore." Content Belongs
Tremaine was stunned, but then repeated himself, "I want to see her."
Tremaine was about to leave the ward until Matthew stopped him.
Matthew emphasized every word "Do you know what happened to Yesseca while you were unconscious?"
