My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey)

Chapter 2404

"Says who?" Preslie interrupted, "The people from Quartley Palace have already contacted me! How dare you say there isn't! Why won't you admit it!?" Sheldon felt that Preslie was being completely unreasonable!

He said, "What are you talking about! We did not do that! Mr. Tremaine would not do such meaningless things!"

"What do you mean by that?" Preslie said sarcastically, "He has done this before! Yesseca even hung a sign outside the shop! Mr. Tremaine has always been shameless!"

"Preslie, that's enough!" Sheldon warned, "That was in the past. This is the present! Back then, Mr. Tremaine was not married, but now he is. You can be rest assured, he won't do such a thing again!" The line then went dead.

With that, Sheldon hung up the phone directly.

Sheldon's anger still hasn't dissipated even after he hung up the phone. It was so bad that Tremaine sensed something wrong with him when he was reporting to Tremaine later that day.

Tremaine asked Sheldon what was wrong.

Sheldon hesitated for a moment before he explained.

"Mr. Tremaine, they have gone too far. They keep thinking that you still haven't forgotten about Miss Cowell. They even thought that someone buying their desserts have something to do with you!"

A trace of bitterness flashed across Tremaine's eyes.

Did they think that he couldn't stop thinking about Yesseca?

Well, they thought right. He really couldn't forget about her.

After some time, Tremaine asked in a low voice, "So they said that someone from Quartley Palace was the one who ordered it?"

"Yes, that is exactly what they said."

"Go and investigate that," Tremaine said, "See if it really has anything to do with Quartley Palace."

After just 15 minutes, they came to a conclusion.

Sheldon was shocked.

He did not expect Preslie to be telling the truth. It really was an order from the Quartley Palace!

Sheldon asked the housekeeper, but the housekeeper did not know that the shop had anything to do with Yesseca. He only said that

Madam Quartley like the desserts

made there, which was why she asked him to order it. He got in

contact with them and knew thonet

they were from Agaphen City..

However, he did not asked who the owner of the shop was.

Sheldon reported his findings to Tremaine.

Tremaine pursed his lips, but did not say anything.

Sheldon felt a surge of complicated feelings in his heart.

How could there be such a coincidental thing in this world!

He knew that Madam Quartley was very dissatisfied with Yesseca in the past. Who knew that she would actually like her desserts! This...

He was speechless!

After a long time, Tremaine finally spoke. He said tightly, "Sheldon, go to Agaphen City and explain it to them in person. Tell them if they are willing to provide desserts to the Quartley Palace, then do it. However,

if they are not willing to do ever,

then

they don't have to. I will speak to Madam Quartley personally about this."

It was Sheldon's turn to become speechless.

He did not expect Tremaine would want him to explain to them in person!

He even had to ask Yesseca if she would be willing to supply desserts to them or not! This was too humiliating for him!

Sheldon could not help but say, "Mr. Tremaine, since Madam Quartley is the one who ordered it, then she is their customer. They have no

we have to explain anythin

reasons to refuse her. I don't think

swnov

Tremaine glanced at Sheldon and said, "Go and explain to them, this is an order!"

"Mr. Tremaine!"

"Sheldon," Tremaine said with a warning tone, "I don't want her to misunderstand, and I don't want her to feel uncomfortable either." Sheldon was speechless.

Since Tremaine has already given the order, what else could he say?

He could only nod and agreed, "Understood, Mr. Tremaine!"

Sheldon turned around and left. However, when he reached the door, he still could not help but stopped in his tracks.

Sheldon turned back and asked, "Mr. Tremaine, since you and her are no longer together, why do you still care about her feelings?"
