My Fiance Ran Away On Our Wedding Day

Chapter 110

Tony sat down at his desk after taking a sip of coffee.
He also shifted the conversation's focus.
"Kayden's become more kind, Zac.He was actually looking for you. When you go to the banquet, do not let your Anika see
anything because she will become enraged"
"You do not have to teach me anything."
Zac sighed and rolled his eyes.
He paused and asked, "What exactly do you want to say?"
He noticed that Tony was about to say something.
"Actually, I have always wanted to ask you something.Zac, did you ask Kayleigh for help when Kayden unexpectedly returned to
Florida?"
Tony inquired as he set down his coffee cup.
When Kayden stayed abroad, he not only officially launched T & D, but he also gradually closed the Jenkins family's international
business.
It was unnecessary for him to return home.
If Kayleigh hadn't angered their father in the hospital, Sonia would not have called her son personally, and Kayden wouldn't have
come back so quickly.
Before he knew what Zac was thinking, Tony naturally felt that having some contact with Kayleigh was nothing.
But now that he thought about it, he seemed to have dug a big hole for Kayden.
Just a few months after Kayden returned to Florida, he was dumped by Anika.
Zac laughed, then walked over to the French window, his eyes lowered.
"Cover your mouth tightly! '' he said after a while.

"When is my mouth going to—"
Tony mumbled something, but choked up when he met the man's gaze.
"Do not worry, Zac; I am not going to tell you what I am thinking of at this time"
He had no idea that this person was actually smart.
He already had some well laid plans.
In the blink of an eye, it was the weekend already.
Anika and Zac went to the Jenkins’ family's birthday banquet.
"Happy birthday, Grandpa Philipp.’
Anika maintained her manners and presented the gift to Grandpa Philipp, oblivious to Sonia's cold stare from the other side.
"Grandpa Philipp, you still look good! Happy birthday” Zac said as he stood beside her.
Old Grandpa Philipp was still active at the age of seventy.
He drew his brows together and stared silently at the two people in front of him.
His voice became hoarse a short time later.
"That's right, your grandfather should be reassured, he sighed as he smiled at Anika. She agreed with a grin. This party seemed
to be the better chapter after that unpleasant wedding.Lucy stood silently by the second-floor railing and watched the scene
downstairs. She then remembered Dorothy's complaints about not being able to locate Owen after he was detained.
‘‘Shawn was the one who made a fool of himself. If he had taken a good picture, this girl wouldn't be so arrogant right now.Isn't
she the one we should get rid of?’’
Anika was a quiet, obedient little girl when she first came to live with the Meyers.
Even Oliver didn't worry about her.
What's the use of regretting it now? Anika was not the type of girl who was to be mocked for her current state.

Even if she had broken up with Kayden, she was still fortunate enough to be accompanied by Zac.
Lucy had a lot on her mind.
Grandpa Philipp was going to announce Lucy's engagement to Kayden at the birthday banquet.
However, Lucy also knew that Kayden would not agree.
If Kayden refused to marry on the spot, she would become a laughingstock.
She lowered her gaze and came to a halt in front of the passing servant.
She whispered, "Kayden appears to have consumed a lot of alcohol.Bring him a glass of honey water"
Sonia and Kayden were both honey water drinkers, and the servant did not think Lucy's words were too dramatic.
Trevor stopped Zac after he had greeted Grandpa Philipp.
Anika searched the room until she found Nataly sitting alone in a corner.
She took a step in front of her friend.
"Do you feel uneasy, Nataly?"
Anika only noticed Nataly's tired expression after approaching.
Nataly had recently returned from a trip abroad, and it had been a long time since they had seen each other.
Nataly was always in a good mood and showed no signs of exhaustion.
Anika wanted to ask again, but Nataly had already waved her hand, "Not really. It's just that I've been busy with work recently.I'm
just exhausted"
"I did not expect Zac to accompany you to the Jenkins’ family"
Nataly said, looking at Zac, who was surrounded by Trevor.
Anika stopped going to banquets after she got married knowing that a lot of people would surely be asking about her current
situation.

However, on this occasion, Anika and Zac seemed to be intimate and had already dissuaded all those who were secretly thinking
about it.
"I didn't expect that either" Anika smiled.
"I didn't expect him to be so generous this time, but I don't know if he's just pretending again"
As they chatted, a woman in a red dress approached them and said warmly, "Anika, it has been a long time since we have seen
each other. You have not attended a banquet in over six months. You must have been extremely busy"
Anika had always despised such a phony and extravagant event.
She used to comply with Sonia's requests, but now that she is married, she did not have to.
She would prefer to stay at home if she could refuse to attend an event.
Anika nodded as she recognized Alexa.
"Indeed, I am a little busy," she admitted quietly.
Alexa was unconcerned about her polite alienation.
The storm over Anika’s identity died down after the news of Owen's capture broke out.
Alexa had recently been warned by her family, and it was not without her knowledge.
Anika would not be offended by her now, no matter what.
Furthermore, Zac's demeanor while accompanying Anika to the Jenkins family's birthday banquet was already impeccable.
Alexa sat down beside Anika and turned her gaze.
She pointed at her female companion standing beside Trevor and said, "I have a little secret to tell.I have seen Harper in the
same room with Zac.’
Today, Trevor was accompanied by Harper.
Anika heard that she was a well-known actress.

This was, however, the first time she heard of Alexa’s reminder.
Anika frowned slightly as her gaze fell on the sultry figure beside Trevor.
Kayden, on the other hand, looked at Anika, who was not far away, and tried his best not to want to talk to her.
He would only make her suffer from gossip if he did anything on this occasion, given her current status.
"The kitchen has just boiled honey water, Sir Kayden.Madam requested that I bring you a cup of tea."
"Yes."
Hearing this, Kayden averted his gaze and nodded to accept the cup of honey water brought over by the servant.
He was not, however, in a hurry to drink.
Instead, he lowered his eyes and slipped into a trance.
"Kayden?" exclaimed Gavyn, who had just walked over and noticed his silence.
Kayleigh had borrowed money to pay for Jenkin's Entertainment's loss for the previous six months in order to complete the
Jenkins’ Entertainment sale.
She had returned to the Arcillion family's company after leaving Jenkins’ Entertainment as general manager.
Gavyn was well aware that Kayden held a grudge against him for previously assisting Lucy.
He had been cold to him all this time, but there was nothing he could do about it.
Kayden turned his head to face Gavyn.
His pitch-black eyes were engulfed in gloom.
He smiled after a while and said, "I do not want to consume too much sugar. Please assist me in drinking it.”
