My dear lawyer

Chapter 362 Cute Roe

Daisy was holding Roe's hands. She did not know why she liked this cute kid so much since the first sight of him. Roe followed her, like a small tail. "What do you want to eat? My treat!"

Daisy said with smile while she was sitting with Roe in front of a table.

Blinking his eyes and thinking for a long time, Roe said shyly, "Can I have a piece of cake?"

Because of Roe's heart problem, the doctor never permitted Roe to eat sweet food, afraid that it would burden his heart. But Roe was just a child; he had no resistance to sweet food.

Daisy did not know that Roe had heart problem, she slapped her fingers, and said with smile, "OK. I will buy desserts for you."

Roe slapped his hands with a huge smile on his face. He was thinking that maybe he could sneak out again in the dinner time, when his parents were eating outside. He just did not know whether he could meet this beautiful girl or not.

Daisy must be in the dark about what Roe was thinking about. As a girl, she had no resistance to sweet food, too. So she ordered the dessert very soon. She looked at Roe, her hands under her jaw, and she felt that Roe was really cute after seeing him as happy as a lark. Feeling Daisy's eyesight on him, Roe lowered his head shyly, and said in a low voice, "Sister, do not look at me this way. I am feeling embarrassed. I am just a child."

Daisy was shocked, having no idea why this kid's thoughts were so mature. She became even more interested in Roe.

Roe smiled with blinking eyes. This was a joke he played with this beautiful sister he just got to know. He was William's son. He knew how to make girls happy. He inherited it from his father.

Seeing Roe's eyes, Daisy couldn't help thinking, "This kid is so young, but his is so thoughtful. As an adult, she was almost fooled by him to think that he is just too mature."

"What's the matter with you? You have to stay in hospital. Is it a very serious disease?" asked Daisy after a sipping of the juice. Seeing that Roe was wearing a hospital uniform, Daisy was becoming just more interested in him.

Roe blinked his eyes, and said seriously, "The doctor said my heart has some problem, and I need to do a heart transplant surgery. But I have not done it, so I felt very fearful every day."

Roe's adult-like tone stunned Daisy. Although she was not a doctor, she knew some common sense about heart transplant. It was usually the congenital heart disease that needed to transplant a heart. She knew how serious that disease was.

It did not occur to her that such a cute child should have such a serious disease. A feeling of empathy arose in Daisy's heart. She sighed silently, and the atmosphere became more imposing.

Noticing that Daisy stopped speaking, Roe comforted her with his eyes blinking, "Do not be so sad. I am fine now. And I am gonna be OK. My mom often tells me that I should be a tough boy."

Daisy lifted her hands subconsciously, touching Roe's forehead lovingly. She felt more sympathetic with Roe's mother. She knew that any mother would be delighted at having such a son. It was a pity that he got such a disease.

Congenital heart disease would not endanger his life temporarily. But If he could not find a suitable heart, his life would be in danger anytime. Although this was the first time she met Roe, she wanted to help him.

But it was not easy. Even though she was the daughter of the Shen Family, she could not find a suitable heart soon. Seeing the easiness on Roe's face, Daisy sighed again.

Maybe because this child was too young to know the seriousness of the heart disease, Daisy thought. The waiter brought the desserts to their table.

All of a sudden, it occurred to Daisy that desserts would increase burden to his heart, so she said to Roe with a tone of negotiation, "Desserts were not good for your health. Would you like to have something else rather than desserts?" Roe showed an expression of grievance, looking at Daisy pitifully. He was about to cry, as if Daisy owed him a large amount of money.

Daisy felt guilty after seeing Roe's facial expression. Since she had invited Roe to have some desserts, how could she say 'no' to him now?

After some hesitation, she said, "Well, you can eat, but you can't eat too much. Just a little, OK?"

Roe nodded his head obediently. Daisy did not see a slice of cunning in his eyes.

Daisy shook her head, feeling a little helpless. This little boy was just difficult to persuade. His cute facial expression had already made her give in. It would be more difficult after he grew up.

Regardless of what Daisy was thinking about, Roe just wanted to eat the dessert. He was just a child and could not resist it. However, even though he was eager to eat it, he still ate it like a gentleman.

Judging from the way he ate, Daisy concluded that Roe was born in a wealthy family and had received good education. Looking at Roe who had eaten a piece of cake, she asked, "Roe, could you tell me something about your family?"

Roe showed an sense of alert, and did not answer Daisy. He just looked at her with his innocent eyes.

Daisy shrugged her shoulders. Noticing that this little boy's alert, she smiled and said, "I like you very much, so I want to know more about you. Why do you look at me this way?" Blinking his black eyes, Roe said, "Mom told me that I should not tell other people anything about my family, so I cannot say anything to you."

Daisy also felt her abruptness. Who would ask a new friend so much about his family? After all, this was not a blind date.

Thinking about blind date, Daisy flushed. Roe was only a child, how could she think of a blind date with Roe? But her interest in Roe was true. She intended to see Six-ears today. It did not occur to her that she could know so cute a friend.

Daisy did not like to use her mind. From the conversation between her and Roe, she could feel that this little boy was just too bored to walk out of the hospital when his parents were out. She thought that she had to send Roe back after the dessert time. When Roe finished the desserts, Daisy held his hand with smile, and said, "Well, now you have had your desserts, I should send you back to the hospital. Your parents should have come back. They would be worried if they did not see you there." Roe curled his lips, and said, "My parents are having a quarrel. I do not like them to have a fight like that. If they could not find me, they would just stop quarreling and come to find me together."00000
