Chapter 22
Tory POV
I go into the kitchen to make a cup of tea. I need something to calm me down. I do not drink, but I may put some whiskey in this tea for a change. I fill the tea kettle with water and put two tea bags into the kettle. Some lovely Earl Grey should do the trick to calm me down. I set the kettle on the stove.
Some odd sounds are coming from upstairs. Tee, are you here? Are you hurt? If only she were here. I know Alpha will find her. He promised he would bring her home. She means so much to him and the pack. She is like the pack mother since Alpha does not have a Luna. Everyone comes to her for advice, and sometimes she gives it without being asked.
I leave the kettle to boil. I hear Alpha talking and texting. I should not bother him. I will go check out the noise by myself. I am sure I will be fine. He worries about me enough. I need to let him do what he needs to do.
I go up the stairs. The noise is getting louder. I look in the bathroom but nothing. I swear the noise sounds like it is on top of me. I open the door to my bedroom. I hear the noise, but I see nothing. It is an odd tapping noise. The noise stops when I get closer to it. Maybe I am crazy. I am so on edge that perhaps I am hearing things that are not there after all.
The sound of my tea kettle makes me jump. Damn. I need to calm my ass down. I turn to go back down the stairs. Then I hear the noise again. This time louder and right behind me. I am afraid to look. I open my mouth to scream for Alpha, but a hand comes across my mouth, and something hits me across the back of the head.
I fall to the ground and hit my head hard. I feel the wind being knocked out of me as I hit the floor. What the hell just happened? I try to focus my eyes. Two figures are standing over me. Is that Alan? Who is that with him? I can tell it is a woman, but I cannot focus my eyes.
"Go ahead of me to make sure no one is around," Alan says.
Who is he talking to right now? Alan picks me up and puts me over his shoulder. I try to fight him, but he is so strong. I start kicking him. He throws me down to the floor.
"Wait, we have to restrain her. We will never get her out of here. She is feisty," Alan says.
The other person grabs some fabric and rope. They tie my hands and feet, then slip something into my mouth. The other person is carrying something. I cannot make out what it is he or she is carrying. I think it is a woman with him. Focus eyes, please focus. I need to see what is going on with me.
Alan carries me down the stairs and out the kitchen side door. I hear my kettle sounding out loud. Please let Alpha hear it and come to help me. I try to scream, but the fabric in my mouth muffles the sounds coming from me. No, No, No, this cannot be happening to me.
I try to wiggle away from Alan. I look and see a car pulling up as Alan puts me into a truck. He lays me down in the back of the truck and gets into the bed of the truck with me. The other figure covers us up. "Get us out of here, now," Alan says. I squint my eyes, trying to see who the other person is with Alan. The figure looks familiar, but I cannot focus. What the hell are you doing with him? Why are you helping him? I start trying to kick Alan. I shake my body and fight with every bit of energy I have in my body.
"Fuck you, Alan," I yell through the fabric. Alan laughs at me and touches my face. He lets his hand wander down my face to my breast and then down my body.
"Calm down, my precious. There will be plenty of time to squirm for daddy later," Alan says.
I look him in the eyes. Alan removes the fabric from my mouth as we drive away, hidden in the bed of the truck. He forces his tongue into my mouth and kisses me hard. He pulls me close to him. "Oh, my precious, I told you this is forever. You cannot leave me, and You should have known I would come for you," Alan says.
"I will never be yours," I say to him.
"Looks to me like you are mine. Where is your Alpha? No one will save you, Tory. You are mine," Alan says.
"What have you done with Tee?" I ask Alan.
"That blow to the head must have really done a number on you," Alan says as he runs his fingers through my hair and touches the bump coming out of my head.
"Ouch," I say. My head is pounding.
"You will see Tee very soon, I promise," Alan says.
Alan pulls me close to him as we ride away from the pack hidden in the truck. "Let daddy hold you, Tory," Alan says.
I try to move away from him, but he holds me tight. I cannot move. Alan kisses my neck. "You owe daddy so much, Tory," Alan says.
I lay in the back of the truck as Alan holds me still. It does not seem like we are in the truck long. It comes to a stop. The cover comes off the back of the truck, and the other figure that was blurry is now perfectly clear. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. There is no way you are helping him. Why are you with him?
"TEE!" I scream.
