My Boyfriend Got Married and The Bride Was Not Me

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Lily snatched the phone away and started yelling, “On October 3rd, Chris took you to Yummy Restaurant for dinner and spent 342 dollars, on October 20th, he gave you a bouquet of flowers, 90 dollars, and on New Year’s Day, you a lipstick, 270 dollars…”

I was so angry that I laughed.

gave

I spent thousands of dollars for him, and even when I was later financially sanctioned by my family, I still worked everywhere to earn money to satisfy his vanity as a man.

He, on the other hand, never given me anything valuable, but remembered all gifts that only worth 10 to 20 dollars. The decision to be the bridesmaid was right.

If Vivian hadn’t cheated on me to take this job, I didn’t know how long I would have remained in the dark.

Even if Chris hadn’t cheated on me or hadn’t had two girlfriends at the same time, this bastard is unacceptable! By the way, I had to thank Vivian very much.

“The total amount is 13760.5 dollars, pay quickly or I will call the police!”

Lily calculated quickly and figured out the total in just a few minutes.

Every cent was counted.

I laughed angrily, “Okay, call the police.”

“I’m not good at math, so I really need to find a professional to calculate the money I spent for him.”

Chris was anxious, “Zora, don’t go too far.”

I stared at the watch on his hand. “You married rich Ms. Jones, but she didn’t say she’d send you a more expensive

watch?”

Chris was nervous and subconsciously hid the watch in his sleeve.

Vivian found his subtle movement, and she pulled his arm, “Didn’t you say that you bought this watch with your own money?”

It seemed that she was not stupid and she knew the watch was expensive.

“It is fake. How could you believe what she said?”

“She took being a bridesmaid as job for 300 bucks, can she afford to buy me a real watch?”

In order to appease Vivian, Chris lied in a hurry.

“If it’s fake, why are you still wearing it and not willing to take it off? Do you still?”

I smiled charmingly and deliberately provoked her, “Do you still love me?”

My words completely irritated Vivian. She pulled Chris’s collar and got angry, “Tell me, do you still love her?”

Chris was filled with worry and was almost dying of anxiety. He tried his best to explain, “I didn’t!”

I took the opportunity to step forward and asked, “Why don’t you take off the watch and give it back to me?” It’s 300 thousand dollars. I can‘ t allow the bastard wear it!

To Chris, the watch was the only thing that he could use to show off, so he was reluctant to give it back to me. But facing Vivian’s vicious eyes, he had to return it to me.

He took off the watch with great pain and threw it to me.

His eyes were so gloomy and cold, as if he wanted to strangle me to death.

I got the watch back, and Lily was still reluctant. When she wanted to continue making trouble, Chris stopped her. He winked and said, “Mom, time is almost here. Our relatives and friends are still waiting outside, wedding is important.”

“Yes, yes, yes.” Lily stroked her hair. She had no time to argue with me and turned to comfort Vivian.

“Vivian, it’s all Chris’s fault for not judging people well before. I’m sorry to have embarrassed you.”

Vivian smiled, looking well–behaved and sensible, “It’s okay, I understand.”

“You were born in a noble family, so you are so tolerant, unlike bitches who came from remote villages.”

When he said this, he glared at me.

Then he ordered Chris, “Chris, lock her in this room first, so that she won’t go out and talk nonsense! After the wedding is over, we will deal with her properly!”

Chris glanced at me, his eyes full of cruelty, “I know.”

I didn’t get angry, but laughed.

The good show was finally about to begin.
