Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back

Chapter 67

When Rebecca got dressed and came out of the bedroom, she saw Adam sitting on the sofa in the living room.
He fixed his eyes on the golden Finger Lake outside the window, perhaps attracted by the beautiful scenery outside the window.
When she came out, he did not react at all.
Rebecca ignored him.
She suddenly remembered that she hadn't checked her cell phone and even seen it since last night, after the dinner party.
Now when she was about to call Samuel, she remembered her phone, so she started looking for it everywhere.
Just as Rebecca failed to find her phone in the living room, and was about to turn back to the bedroom to look for it, Adam
suddenly talked to her, "What are you looking for?"
"My cell phone,"
Rebecca answered and went back to the bedroom.
After hearing her words, Adam looked sullen.
Then, he got up, went to the entrance, took her phone, and went back to the bedroom door.
He said to her, "It's here!"
Hearing it, Rebecca glanced at Adam.
Her phone was indeed in Adam's hand.
She smiled happily, strode over and took the phone from Adam's hand.
However, her phone was turned off.
She remembered that her phone had been fully charged.
How could it be turned off? Although confused, Rebecca didn't ask anything but turned on her phone immediately.
As soon as the phone was turned on, a bunch of missed calls and WhatsApp messages popped up, and the phone vibrated in
her hand.

Adam looked down at Rebecca's phone screen.
Most of the calls and unread messages came from the same person, Justin.
He gave sneered in disdain, turned around and strode out.
When he reached the door, he changed his shoes, then suddenly opened the door and stepped out.
The tall figure immediately disappeared from Rebecca's sight.
Rebecca looked at the man who had just left and frowned.
Then, she called Justin back.
After hanging up the phone with Justin, Rebecca cleaned up and went downstairs for breakfast.
The place to eat the breakfast buffet was on the first floor of Building 8.
After breakfast, she was intended to go to Samuel's hotel to meet Samuel, and then they would go to the summit forum together.
There were some things which needed to discuss.
When she went down to the first floor, she saw Adam was also in the dining room, and Arthur was sitting at the same table as
Adam.
"Rebecca, here."
When Arthur saw Rebecca, he waved at her.
Seeing him, Rebecca walked over with a smile and said to Arthur, "Good morning, dad!"
"Morning, did you sleep well last night?"
Arthur smiled.
"Yes."
Rebecca nodded.
"I slept well"

"Well, it's good that you are not a picky sleeper. It's inevitable that you will go everywhere with Adam in the future.Adam only
sleeps well on his own bed. With you by his side in the future, his mother and I will be relieved."
Looking at Rebecca, Arthur spoke in a gentle voice.
He really thought of her as his daughter-in-law.
Rebecca didn't say a word but just smiled.
Then she glanced at Adam, who had been eating breakfast with his head down.
"Here is oatmeal, sit down and eat it!"
Seeing that Rebecca was still standing, Arthur put the bowl of oatmeal to his left- hand side and asked her to sit down, while
Adam, on the other hand, was sitting opposite to Arthur.
"Dad, you eat first, I'll serve the oatmeal myself"
Said Rebecca, putting the stuff down.
"Okay, go and get it yourself!"
"Okay.’ Rebecca nodded and then turned around to get the food herself.
It was only after Rebecca turned around and walked away that Adam looked up at her.
"Did you quarrel with Rebecca?"
Looking at Adam, Arthur asked deliberately.
"No."
Without any emotion, Adam replied.
Arthur nodded, lowered his head, and said casually, "Well, that's good.Julia has always longed for a grandchild. You should hurry
up.She must be very happy to have a grandchild"
Adam looked at Arthur and hesitated for a moment.

Then, he nodded and said seriously, "Okay, I'll try."
Arthur finished breakfast first and left, leaving Rebecca and Adamstill eating breakfast.
Adam and Rebecca sat together and ate slowly.
He didn't finish the food until she had almost eaten.
In fact, he didn't eat much for breakfast, and even Rebecca wondered why he had the patience to sit here.
After Rebecca finished eating, she took a napkin and wiped her mouth.
Then she said to Adam coldly, "I'm done, and I got to go."
Adam looked up at her and asked casually, "Where are you going?"
"Go meet Professor Talty;’ Rebecca answered truthfully.
"And Justin!"
The man said coldly.
There was actually a hint of jealousness in his cold voice.
But Rebecca didn't think too much.
She just looked at him and remained silent.
Not all of these words were worth responding to or need to be answered.
"Let the driver take you there."
Seeing that Rebecca was staring at him without saying anything, Adam spoke firstly.
"No need."
Rebecca stood up.
"They live in Finger Lakes too. It's less than two kilometers away.I'll walk there."

What a wonderful thing to walk around Finger Lake on such a cool morning! "Rebecca."
Adam wiped his mouth with a tissue, then stood up, looked at Rebecca, and called her seriously.
Rebecca looked at him without saying a word, waiting for him to continue.
"Do you want to continue flirting with Justin?"
Adam asked her seriously.
Rebecca still looked at him calmly, without any emotion in her eyes or face.
She just asked coldly, "Do you mind?"
"Of course!"
Without any hesitation, Adam answered Rebecca.
"You should remember many people have known you are my wife."
