Chapter 28
"Justin, is this Rebecca?"
Before Justin could get around Rebecca from the driver's seat, Justin's mother Ruth noticed her and asked Justin with a smile.
Justin walked around to Rebecca, stood still with one hand in his pocket, and looked at Rebecca.
He nodded with a smile and said, "Well, Rebecca is my classmate, a straight-A student in the New York University, and she's
very beautiful.” Rebecca glanced at him speechlessly.
She quickly looked at Ruth again and greeted with a smile, "Hello, auntie.I'm Rebecca.I'm sorry that I'm late.”
"Hey, it’s okay.It must be his fault."
Ruth smiled and glanced sideways at Justin, not blaming Rebecca at all.
Ruth looked very young and her face showed no sign of aging.
People might think she and Justin were siblings instead of mother and son.
Justin frowned and said nothing! "Rebecca, I heard so much about you. You're so beautiful. No wonder my brother always
mentions you.He finally brought you home today."
Justin's sister, Manda, ran over.
She was very tall and a little shorter than Rebecca.
She looked a little childish, but what she said made Rebecca shy .
"You must be Justin's sister, Manda.Your brother asked me to help you with your lessons,"
Rebecca smiled and explained her intentions.
"What..."
"Hey, Manda, it took me a lot of effort to get Rebecca back for your tutoring.Take it seriously!"
Before Manda could say anything, Justin interrupted her, rubbing her long hair gently.
Manda and Justin were no wonder siblings.
Hearing his words, Manda understood and quickly took Rebecca's hand with a smile.
"Rebecca, you're so young.I heard from my brother that you're only 20 years old, and you're six years older than me.Why don't I
call you Miss Smith?"
Rebecca looked at the girl who was about the same size as herself, smiled and nodded.
"Okay, just as you like."
Manda nodded and said, "Well, I'll call you Miss Smith from now on.’
"Okay, let's go in first.Take your time. It's already noon.Let's eat first and talk about something else."
With that, Ruth called everyone in.
Rebecca smiled and nodded slightly.
Since it was impossible to refuse to leave now, she had no choice to follow Ruth into the house and have lunch together.
"Where's dad?" asked Justin as he didn't see his father Louis.
"He's out of town and will be back in a few days. You didn't want to go with him anyway." Ruth scolded faintly.
Justin smiled, "I was studying at school, okay? It's not for fun! Ask Rebecca if you don't believe me."
"Rebecca, tell me, what does Justin do at school? Does he skip school every day and play games in the dormitory?"
Ruth asked.
Rebecca smiled and shook her head.
"No, I saw Justin when I went to class."
Justin gloated.
"Did you hear that? You're my mother.Don't always wrong me!"
"Justin, you like Miss Smith, so you are with her every day, right?"
Manda was on the side, telling the truth.
Justin walked beside Rebecca and silently looked at her with a smile.
Rebecca was embarrassed.
She didn't expect that Justin was a rich second generation.
Today, she was completely led into a trap by him.
Maybe it was because she didn't pay much attention to her classmates.
"Come on, go to the dinning room.”
Seeing Rebecca's embarrassment, Ruth quickly gathered everyone into the dining room and ordered, "Serving up!"
"Yes, madam."
Although it was awkward at the beginning, Ruth was talkative, which broke the ice at the table.
She asked Rebecca a lot about Justin's school and the New York University.
Rebecca could basically answer her.
In addition, with Manda, the innocent sweet girl, the atmosphere at the table eased up.
In the end, unknowingly, Rebecca ate two bowls of rice and two bowls of soup.
"Rebecca, do you want another bowl of soup? This soup is good. You don't look well. Are you under too much pressure to study?"
In the end, Ruth urged her to eat more when Rebecca had already finished eating.
Rebecca said with a sincere smile, "Auntie, I'm really full.Thanks."
"Mom, are you going to scare Rebecca? So you want her to eat enough at one time?"
Justin sat beside Rebecca, defending her.
Ruth glanced at him and said to Rebecca, "Rebecca, let's go to the living room.”
"Then what about Manda’s lesson..?"
Rebecca asked hesitantly.
"No hurry.Take a rest first."
As Ruth spoke, she stood up.
Just then, a servant came over and took Ruth's ringing cell phone.
She looked at it and said to Rebecca with a smile, "Rebecca, let Justin take you to the garden.I'll take a call."
Rebecca nodded.
"Okay, auntie."
Ruth smiled, took her phone, and left the dinning room.
"Let's go.I'll take you out for a walk,"
said Justin, looking at Rebecca with a bright smile.
"Okay." Rebecca nodded.
"Manda, shall we?"
Manda chuckled and looked at Justin.
"I'm not going, or my brother will hit me."
Rebecca was speechless.
"If you keep talking nonsense, I'm going to hit you!"
As Justin spoke, he raised his hand.
"Ah, mom, Justin is going to hit me.Hurry up and save me."
Manda ran away as she shouted.
Rebecca broke into a smile, seeing that Manda running away like a happy little rabbit.
Looking at the rare bright smile on Rebecca's face, Justin became more determined.
"Is it a lie?"
After Manda ran away, Rebecca asked Justin.
Frowning, Justin thought for a moment before he nodded.
"Yes.”
"Well, does your sister need help with her lessons? Besides, I think if she does, will it be better if you hire a professional teacher
to help her?"
Looking at Justin, Rebecca said seriously.
Rebecca didn't know the truth, thinking that they hired her to save money.
After all, hiring a professional teacher cost 400 to 500 per class in New York.
But obviously, Justin's family could afford it.
Justin looked at Rebecca and smiled.
"She doesn't like old- schooled. She likes people of her age and someone whom she can talk a lot with.Besides, you can not only
help her with her lessons. She can learn a lot of good learning methods and habits from you."
Rebecca looked at him and was lost for words.
"Then you can teach her a lesson yourself!"
Justin lowered his head and smiled again. His laughter was bright and cheerful.
"Look at her. Will she let me teach her a lesson?" Rebecca frowned.
"Are you the one who doesn't want to lecture her?"
Justin smile and acquiesced to Rebecca's idea.
"Do you want to take a walk outside?"
"Okay."
Rebecca nodded and walked out with him.
