Chapter Divorce Long 121
Chapter 121
Although Rex and his team didn't have time for dinner, the work was done, so they all went downstairs together, preparing to leave Wilson Tech.
At this moment, Julia received a phone call.
After hanging up, she said, "Frank is almost here. I'll go with you."
When they reached the lobby, Franklin was already waiting downstairs. When he saw them, he got out of the car and greeted Rex and Johnny. He glanced at Maggie but didn't speak to her.
As for Julia, she stood with him as he got out of the car.
The two of them, standing together, looked like a legitimate couple.
Rex was chatting with Franklin, while Johnny, looking over, curled his lips and said coldly, "Mr. Wilson, we've already planned dinner, so we'll leave now." Franklin nodded, "Mr. Gray, take care."
Johnny and Maggie left first.
After eating with Mr. Kim and the others, Maggie drove home.
As soon as she arrived, Harry's call came through.
Maggie paused before answering, "Mr. Becker."
"The contract has been signed," Harry said. "You can call your uncle to confirm it. Call me back once it's done."
Before she could reply, he hung up the phone.
Maggie didn't expect Harry to act so quickly.
However, she didn't fully trust him.
Thinking about it, she called her uncle, "Uncle, has the company signed a project with the Becker family?"
"Yeah," her uncle, Jason, replied happily, "There's progress on our side. By the way, how did you find out about this?"
"I heard it from someone else," Maggie casually deflected, then chatted a bit more with her uncle before hanging up. She immediately called Harry.
Harry answered almost immediately.
Maggie said, "I'm free on Saturday and Sunday."

Harry replied, "Good, should I arrange the specific time, or will you?"
"You arrange it."
"Alright."
After hanging up the phone, Maggie went into the bathroom for a quick shower. Seeing that it was still early, she started browsing the latest news about Al developments around the world. The next morning:
She had a simple breakfast and was about to head out when Harry's call came in again. "Last night, I discussed with Daisy, and she mentioned she wanted to go skiing. Miss Miller, are you okay with skiing?" Maggie replied, "Sure."
Harry asked, "Do you need me to prepare any ski equipment for you?"
Maggie responded, "No, I can buy it myself."
"Alright, see you on Saturday."
"Mm."
After hanging up, Maggie left for work.
At 5 PM:
Isabella called, saying that he wanted to eat some of the food she cooked. So, she went to visit him that evening. Franklin was not at home, he had gone on a business trip. Maggie stayed at his place that night.
The next morning, before taking Isabella to school, she remembered the skiing trip with Shandan on Saturday and decided to take her skiing equipment, which she had left behind, so she wouldn't need to go out to buy it again in a couple of days. Seeing her with the ski gear, Isabella asked, "Mom, are you going skiing?"
"Mm, we're going in a few days," Maggie replied.
Isabella said, "I want to go too!" Even though she had only spent half a day at the ski resort with Julia and the others, she hadn't had enough fun yet!
Maggie paused for a moment and asked, "When do you want to go?"
Isabella hesitated for a bit.
Maggie knew that she actually wanted to go skiing when Julia and Franklin weren't available, but since she didn't know when they would be free, she was unsure. Maggie retracted her gaze and said, "It's fine, just let me know when you want to go, and if I'm free, I'll take you."
Isabella happily said, "Okay!"

Chapter 121
After a busy week, Maggie finished work earlier on Friday evening. When she got home and was about to make some dinner, Isabella's call came through.
Maggie paused before answering the phone.
"Mom, I'm free on Saturday, let's go skiing!"
Maggie had promised to take her skiing when she asked, but she wasn't planning to go tomorrow. She had other commitments that day, and the trip was somewhat of a social obligation. She didn't want to worry about taking Isabella along. "Mom's busy tomorrow. Can we go another time?" she said.
Isabella whined, "No, I want to go on Saturday! Mom, can you please go with me?"
"Saturday won't work. How about next week? If you still want to go, I'll take you then."
Isabella didn't listen, trying to whine and soften her up, "Mom..."
Maggie remained unmoved, "If you still want to go next week, just let me know. Make sure to eat well and don't be picky."
She ended the call before Isabella could argue further. Isabella didn't call back, likely sulking, but Maggie didn't mind. She went into the kitchen to start cooking.
The Next Day:
When Maggie woke up, Harry called again, asking if she needed a ride.
Maggie declined.
After having breakfast, Maggie drove to the ski resort. By the time she arrived, Harry and Daisy were already there. Harry looked over when he saw her, and Daisy, brushing aside his hand, ran excitedly toward Maggie. "Auntie!"
As Daisy hugged her, Maggie gently returned the embrace, smiling as she patted Daisy's face. "Daisy seems to have grown a little, and there's more meat on her face. She looks even prettier."
Daisy beamed and nodded happily. "Yes! I've been eating a lot of meat."
Maggie smiled and was about to speak when Daisy suddenly pulled out a crystal keychain from her pocket. "Auntie, this is for you."
