Moonville Series 1: Secret Lovers

Richard is standing near the footboard of his bed where his study table is located. He's walking back and forth, until he saw his 15-inch MacBook Pro. An idea suddenly struck him. He sat down and opened his Facebook account. He searched the name Alexandra Martinez.

The matches immediately appeared on his screen. He saw the photo of the girl he met earlier at CPRU. He opened her account but did not see a lot aside from her profile and cover photos. Her account is private, and so he cannot see her posts. But it's enough to make him smile.

Even though he didn't see a lot, Richard can say that he learned a lot about the girl who caught his attention. Her photos are all cheerful, just like her personality that he saw earlier in CPRU. Even her cover photos have positive vibe. She seems like a person who does not post anything dramatic on Facebook. He wondered if she has a Twitter account.

But no matter how many pictures he saw, it is still not enough for Richard. That just made him want to know Alex Martinez more, and that could only be possible if he can see her entire Facebook timeline.

He moved the cursor through the touchpad and pointed it on the Add Friend button. Suddenly, he could not click it. His having second thoughts if what he's doing is right. He knows their families are enemies and he should not befriend that girl even in social media.

But he could not stop himself from wanting to know more about the girl. He wants to be closer to her. He wants to know more things about her. So in the end, his want to know more about the girl named Alexandra Martinez prevailed. He did what his heart is telling her despite his mind's refusal. This time, his heart is the one controlling his brain.

Friend Request Sent.

Alex just kept staring at her MacBook Pro. She doesn't know what to do with the notification she just received. It's a Friend Request from that guy she met earlier in CPRU - that Richard Quinto.

Her Twitter conversation with her friends just ended when she decided to visit her Facebook account. And upon opening it, she saw some friend requests waiting for her approval. One of them is from Richard Quinto.

Meanwhile, Richard stood up again and got back to his back and forth pacing in front of his study table. He frequently looks at his laptop to check the status of the friend request he sent to Alexandra Martinez. He decided to sit on is bed, then lie down then get up again to look at his laptop. He tried reading a book, but he stopped because he could not concentrate. The friend request just distracts his mind.

Alex thought it would be okay for him to accept Richard as a friend on Facebook... Or, it's okay for them to be friends because it's not the two of them who are enemies but their parents. They're out of their grudge, so they shouldn't be affected by that. So she pressed the button next to Richard Quinto's name. Confirm.

Richard was overjoyed when he saw that Alex accepted his friend request. He sat down again and checked out Alex' Facebook timeline. Most of her posts are linked from her Twitter account. Some are from Instagram, making her timeline full of pictures from the said application.

He liked what he saw, especially that post that seems to be about him.

AlexaMartinez @AlexCutie5499 The guy I'm sitting next to Phil. History is super nice. I'm glad he was my seatmate. And not only is he nice. He's also super cute!

Richard smiled. Super cute? Well, the feeling is mutual. He thinks she's cute, too. He suddenly missed her, her cuteness and positive aura. Like when you're with her, there are no dull moments. So he wasn't able to stop himself from starting a conversation with her.

Richard Quinto: hi!

Once again, Alex does not know how to respond. Accepting his friend request is okay, but engaging in a conversation with Richard Quinto? It doesn't feel right. She needs to consider their situation. Alex Martinez: sometimes. i go home with my sister. she has her own car. sometimes she goes home late.
