Chapter 3556 Serial Killer
"It's no use," I said, and moved.
The stone skin woman is a High-Earth Sovereign but has average strength. She would need to be much stronger if she wanted to run away from me.
I appeared in front of the woman and swung my sword and could see the panic turning into horror as my blade reached near her neck.
Bang!
Though, right at that moment, I flicked my wrist and a moment later, a loud bang rang out.
The back of my sword hit her hand, sending her flying bloodied and broken. There are also a lot of energies that entered inside her and made her unconscious.
I appeared beside her and picked up her unconscious body.
"Let's see, what she was doing," I said and walked toward the door of the abode.
Earlier, I had sensed her taking an unconscious man into her abode. At first, I thought he was her friend, but seeing the injuries on his body and the aura which they are releasing is the same as the woman, I got suspicious.
Still, there could be a hundred reasons behind it and sometimes, I am too suspicious of others and have an overactive imagination.
It might be the other person who attacked her, and she had defeated him. Now, taking him to her abode to think about what to do with it or something else.
I will not make the judgment till I see what is inside.
Hun!
I entered inside through the opened door of the abode and what I saw inside wiped all my thoughts away and, worse, fear released.
I appeared beside the injured half-elf, who has been hanging on the X. There are daggers piercing his body; currently there are only four, but looking at the grey filled with white stone daggers, it is clear what she had intended to do.
Seeing me coming, the despair in the man's eyes disappeared, and he struggled against the binds.
They are magical, which are not sealing his movements and voice, but also his energy.
The tool isn't some low-level one; it is good enough that I had decided to take it, but before I do that, I need to save the poor soul.
"Careful," I said as I deactivated the artifact and placed him on the bed.
"Thank you," he said with tears streaming down on his.
I smiled before placing my hand on him. Only a minute and a half later, I began to take the daggers and every time I did, the man screamed.
It is a good thing, I had looked at his body, before pulling out those daggers. They were no simple daggers and if I had to pull them directly; I might have killed the man.
"Drink these; they should be enough to heal your injuries," I said and handed him the three potions.
He hesitated for a moment before gulping down one potion after another.
"So, what happened?" I asked, and the man didn't answer immediately and instead looked at the unconscious woman and looked at her hatefully.
"I was moving toward the meeting point when this bitch appeared and attack me; I thought she was a bandit and offered her my storage, but she said she wanted me,"
"I thought she was a cultist at first, but she was just a sick bitch," he said angrily, and I arched my brow.
"She had vividly described what she was doing to do to me," he explained and shuddered.
"It seemed like we have a serial killer on the hand," I said and looked at unconscious woman for a second.
I talked with Ayrin for a few minutes, that's his name, before taking the woman to a room. I returned an hour later with a grim expression on my face.
"She should have taken help when the urges were controllable," I said with a sigh, and he nodded.

People like her are rare, but not that rare. The world is fucked up and people have all kinds of things, that change them psychologically. Every organization and even freelancers are out there to help deal with traumas and the urges that come out of it.
The woman didn't seek help and had no intentions of doing that.
She had been doing this for decades and had thousands of victims. She doesn't deserve any mercy, nor did I give her that.
Still, I wish I could have handed her to her organization to face justice, but we are in a place where it is not possible.
So, I had to hand out the justice, whether I wanted it or not.
"How are you feeling?" I asked as I reached him and placed a hand on his stomach. "Very good. The potions you had given me had nearly finished dealing with the energies of the knives,"
"In a few minutes, all the energy would be dealt with, and it won't take long for physical injuries to heal after that,"
"Take care," I said as I removed my hand from him and walked toward the door. He looked like he wanted to say something, but didn't.
I walked out of the abode and stopped a few minutes later. Where I took out my abode and entered inside.
Here is also dark, but there is a bright moonlight covering the whole abode. I had created a moon and the light coming from it is a real lunar light; I am using a high-quality lunar stone to power it.
It not only provides light but also many other benefits.
I admired it for a few minutes before walking into my room and taking a long shower. After I finished with that; I walked onto the porch and brought out a wonderful dinner that my clone had cooked.
I ate it in the beautiful moonlight while listening to the wonderful music of my world, which brought tears to my eyes.
I finished the dinner and lay comfortably on my couch before entering my core.
The core is beautiful, and there are resources growing everywhere. I hope I will be able to take them all to the Earth-Sovereigns or till mid or high level of it.
Before reaching the Sovereign stage, I didn't have that problem, but the first continent got bigger and I have got another continent of the same size, where I planted a lot of rare and precious plants.
So, it is not easy to grow them in such huge quantities, especially where there are guzzler plants that take a massive amount of growth energy.
I looked at them for a few minutes before appearing beside the door of the library and stepping inside.
There, my clones are working on a new upgrade of the inheritance.
I wish I could place the new clone here, but I need to keep my culinary skills and healing skills sharp. Currently, the eighth clone is in the library, studying the books on healing.
I walked to my clones and worked with them for an hour, before sitting at the table and looking at unfinished formation.
I had been working on it for quite a while, but never succeeded in it. It is not part of my homework, just something I am trying to do.
It is quite hard, but I am willing to spend the effort on it. It will help my inheritance tremendously if I am able to achieve that.
