Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 133
Diana's POV
Then right in front of me he appeared. Just like he always does. "It's me Ana," he said.
I stood there stiffly. It's been over thirty years since I last saw him. I was very disobedient to him. He had told me not to do what I did but then I didn't listen. I was a young witch who was consumed by my great powers.
I didn't know why he is here now. Maybe to capture me? We were not on talking terms when what happened happened. So now, I have doubts. I just stood there looking at him.
"It's been a long while Ana" he said.
"What do you want?"
Don't blame my rudeness, I'm on the defensive side here. For thirty years I've learned to trust one. People change and their change can be very brutal.
"Ain't you happy to see me?" He said with a pained look.
Zul can be sent. He was once very loyal to the witch King. It was the death of his mother that made them hold a good grudge. I don't know if they've reconciled. All I care about now is how I wouldn't be tricked and harmed. If Zul wants to harm me, he can. He knows everything about powers. In fact he was the one that brought out the most skills in me. To say the fact he's like a teacher to me.
Looking into the question he asked, I realised u actually miss him. But u were still afraid that he might not be real. I then decided not to reply to him.
"Still stubborn as ever Ana" he smiled and shook his head.
I glared at him. "Why are you here? Who sent you?"
The pained look on Zul grew. I know Zul follows no man nor does he bow to anyone but years have passed and I have my doubts.
"C'mon Ana, that hurts. I've been looking for you for years now restlessly and when I finally found you what came from your mouth to me is that why am I here and who sent me?"
I felt guilty moving me slowly in my heart. But he might be pretending just wanting to get me. I still have to stay strong.
"Why are you looking for me?"
"You didn't even bother to get in touch with me. Even if you block everyone off, shouldn't you at least....." He paused and turned his back.
No need to tell me that he was very sad. I looked at Allison and her father where they were standing. The confusing look on them was quite hilarious but then I'm having a moment of sadness, I can't laugh. I know that evil she-wolf never expected that Zul and I could be in any way acquainted. She thought we would have fought to the death by now. I was quite impressed at how she was very eager and willing to get me killed after everything I've done for her and her father.
Now if Zul isn't my acquaintance, that is how I would have died or gotten badly injured. I might be wicked but I found Allison she-wolf more brutal than I am. Zul turned back to me.
"Even if the one I've been with for all these years isn't happy to see me, Ana, I'm so glad that you've been fine all these years. At least now my mind could be at peace," he said softly.
His voice was full of emotions. The Zul I know was never emotional, so this told me that he was saying the truth. He had truly missed me. I sighed and smiled. Finally letting down my guards. I'm sure glad to see that he is fine too.
"Thank you Zul" was all I could say.
He widened his arms and I ran into it. We hugged like old times. There were gasps and whispers behind us and this made me smile more. The one who was thought to be the enemy, now happens to be the most beloved. This is a very sweet and depressing story to them. After Zul and I stopped embracing each other, I turned to Allison and her father.
Now is the time for recompense. This will be super interesting. I've been meaning to deal with that little wench all these while and now is the perfect them. I folded my arms, glaring at her.
"Really?"
Allison's POV
Right now that the witch has finished her reunion with the wizard, I know I'm so dead. That lazy wizard has got me tricked. He just used me to unite with his long lost love. I think I'm very good at reuniting lovers. That's what I do best. This was really an anger in my heart. Just seeing them cuddle gave me irritation. I know Diana won't let this pass, she would definitely punish me badly.
I'm not so powerful now. My father and I have become rogues. We could feel it. The Sunclad pack has turned against us. Anywhere we go, we would definitely aim to be killed. Wolves hate rouge wolves. The power of a wolf is their pack but now we've got no pack. "Did you just stupidly reunite those lovers?" My father's voice came to mind.
His voice was quite harsh and I could feel that he was equally angry. Normally if my father's anger came, as a Gemma, I would bow but since we became rogues, we've been stripped of that title, so I didn't feel anything. Just an ordinary wolf's anger. I know I messed up big time this time. My father and I couldn't in any way fight those two sorcerers. I've succeeded in always wanting to be superior to get myself into trouble.
"Why did you do this? I'll never be able to save you this time, daughter. This is your mistake and I won't bear it with you" my father's vexed voice came again.
Yes he's right. He'll never be able to save me from her. Even if we team up, her new found lover wouldn't want us killing the live he just found after years of searching. I sure know that even if I plead, Diana won't let me off the hook. I felt like crying, but then I remembered who I was. I'm Allison and I won't go down without a good fight.
Diana, after smiling at that wizard for a while, decided it's my turn.
"Really?" She said,
She folded her arms, stood balanced and looked at me with a very butter smile. I really didn't know what to say to her. At first I wanted to give some filthy explanation but I scolded myself. I told myself not to be scared of her so that she won't look so victorious. I looked into her eyes and she chuckled at my boldness. I've been as bold as the Lion since I was a child so I know that I can't be defeated easily. My father, watching the glaring contest, couldn't take it anymore. He then ran to her.
"Please Diana, I know she had made another big mistake but thank goodness, he's just the one looking for you for your well being. Please forgive her" he pleaded.
Even though my father was doing this to save me from her deadly hands, I still felt quite irritated. I wasn't happy about how he's stooping so low to make this witch feel like a queen. Even though he's a rogue wolf now, he should show himself some respect. He shouldn't lose his wolf pride. I was glaring at him from where I was standing.
"I told you I don't spare betrayers!" The witch said, gritting her teeth.
"I know you said that but then, I don't think Allison meant what she did. It might have been a misunderstanding. It might also be that..... That.... That........
My father was short of words. He couldn't find words to defend what I did. He was shaking in fear.
