Chapter 235 He Has The Right To Ask Her About It
After hearing what Daryl said, Zack's face turned even colder.
Seeing this, Daryl didn't dare to continue for a while, but she still muttered in her heart, 'What's wrong with this guy? He is even angrier for no reason.' The two of them went upstairs by elevator.
Outside the room, Zack took Daryl in directly.
"I didn't expect that the first night I spent with you alone is in a hotel after we married."
Daryl whispered behind Zack.
After entering the presidential suite, Zack let her sit down. Then he went to take out the medicine box in the room without saying anything.
"Let me see. Where did you get hurt?"
He sat beside her and asked in a low voice.
Daryl moved her right arm a little in front of him. The pain on her arm had almost disappeared, but there were still some red marks on it. "Daryl, are you an idiot? Why did you defend for me?"
Seeing a red mark on her fair skin, Zack was moved, but he still couldn't help blaming her.
"Yes, I'm an idiot and I was out of my mind." Daryl muttered, "I don't know why I did that."
Zack glanced at her angrily and said two words, "Don't move."
Daryl soon stopped moving and he began to apply medicine for her.
"Don't touch the water tonight, okay?"
After applying the medicine, Zack reminded her in a low voice.
"Okay."
The atmosphere between the two became quiet again.
But Daryl quickly asked, "Well, have you always been in such a bad relationship with your father?"
"Yes."
Maybe it was because they were far away from the Ji family's old house, when Daryl mentioned Cannon again, Zack didn't get angry.
She thought for a while and then said, "I don't know what happened between you and your father, but I think you don't have to be so impulsive when you speak in the future. It's the first time I see you so irrational tonight." Hearing this, Zack's long eyes darkened slightly. He was indeed not rational enough when facing Cannon.
In fact, Daryl was very curious about the contradiction between him and his father. Why did they have inveterate hatred as enemies?
But she still didn't ask.
'Goo Goo... The atmosphere was very quiet, but a low rumble came from Daryl's stomach, and she immediately flushed.
"Are you hungry?" With a smile in his eyes, Zack asked.
"Of course."
Daryl pouted, "I was going to have dinner at the table, but you pulled me out."
Zack stretched out his hand and rubbed her soft hair. He smiled and said, "Just sit here. I'll order food for you.
"Okay."
Daryl sat on the sofa and played with the telephone beside.
The design of the presidential suite in this hotel was old-fashioned. It took Daryl a while to figure out how to use it, and then she called Benjamin.
The little boy answered her phone soon.
Daryl comforted him and then told him that they might not go back tonight.
Benjamin calmly and generously expressed his understanding.
After a while, Zack came back.
"Who were you talking to just now?" Zack approached her and asked with a frown. "Bennie."
Daryl put down the phone.
"Answer me a question." Suddenly, he looked at her with his deep eyes. 'What?'
Daryl was scared when he suddenly became serious.
"I was downstairs just now. Why are you so familiar with the things here?"
There was an unquestionable aggressiveness in Zack's tone.
"I'm closed with Lymie. I know it from him."
Daryl felt it strange for him to ask such a question. She thought for a while and then couldn't help asking, "Well, do you think that I used to check in this hotel? That's why you are so angry?" Thinking of this, it seemed that she had suddenly figured out his previous emotional change.
"Yes."
Zack replied calmly. Daryl didn't expect that he would admit it directly.
He looked at her coldly and said word by word, "You are my wife now. I have the right to ask about it."
"Fine... If you have the right to ask, just ask."
Daryl was scared by his gaze. She retorted in a low voice, "I didn't say I wouldn't let you ask."
"What were you thinking when you blocked that silver cup for me?"
Zack got closer to her and asked in a low voice.
Daryl said casually as she stepped back unconsciously and avoided the man's deep eyes.
"I've told you. I was not thinking about anything. It was an impetuous decision. If you really want to find a reason, you are the man who provide me with money and a good life, and there is nothing wrong for me to defend and protect you." "That's what you think?"
Zack asked indifferently. He couldn't help pinching her chin. A dangerous light flashed through his black eyes. "Daryl, you don't mean what you say, and you need to change such a bad habit."
Daryl's chin was pinched gently by him. She looked at him with her clear eyes and didn't know how to answer him for a moment. But her handsome face was enlarged in front of her one point one.
Just as the tip of their noses gently touched and their lips were about to kiss, a hurried doorbell suddenly rang!
Startled, Daryl subconsciously pushed Zack away from her!
Her ears turned red and she said in a low voice, "Someone knocked on the door. It should be the waiter who sent the food."
Zack's face darkened. He glanced at her coldly and said, "I know."
He quickly stood up and walked to the door. He opened the door irritably. He had thought that some unruly waiter was knocking at the door in such a hurry, but when he opened the door, he found that it was Lyman! "Wow, Zack, you are really here!"
When Lyman saw Zack, a big smile appeared on his handsome face. "It seems that the staff of my hotel is right! I heard that you brought a girl here. Is she my future sister-in-law?"
Lyman used to play around here at night. But he didn't expect that when he heard that Zack had brought someone here to check in, he couldn't help but run here!
Zack's handsome face darkened in an instant. "Lyman, do you have nothing to do all day long?"
"Oh, Zack, don't say that. I'm here to see my future sister-in-law! Is there anything wrong?"
Lyman patted Zack on the shoulder and walked inside. "Sister-in-law, I'm Zack's cousin. Let me see..."
