Mate ...s ?!?!

Chapter Chapter Forty-Two

[Third person POV]

The screaming was horrible as it rang through the Alpha house. Both Alpha Grant and Luna Scarlet, were beyond worried as they rushed out of their own room to where they could hear Orion’s cries. Scarlet opened the door to see Jace just standing there in a daze, Orion on the floor crying his little eyes out and Jax nowhere to be seen. She closed the door quickly and looked to her Mate.

“Go find Jaxson. He is the reason this is happening. Those two are feeling rejected for whatever reason and if he does not return soon, they could both die.” Scarlet stated matter-of-factly to her Mate.

Grant growled before nodding and running out the back door after his oldest son. He was going to knock some sense into Jax over this the hard way. Whatever had happened was not bad enough to reject your Mates over and Grant was going to school his son on proper etiquette when it came to ones Mates. He obviously hadn’t taught Jaxson well enough. It took the Alpha only fifteen minutes to find his son but when he did, he did not like what he found. It made the older Alpha pause before growling in a serious manner.

Another Alpha was with Jax and they were talking casually by the lake that sat on neutral territory. However, Grant knew this Wolf and he knew that whatever the other Alpha wanted was never a good thing. Grant hurried over to his son, shifting and pulling on a pair of shorts as he stopped in front of Jax and the other Alpha. The Alpha of the BlackNight Pack, Diego Snow. A man that was said to have more than one friend shrouded in darkness. He had made his way up the ranks without anyone ever knowing where he had come from. Grant even doubted Snow was even a Wolf at times.

“Alpha Snow, it is always good to see you.” Grant said nodding his head in acknowledgment. He bowed to no one. Not even on Neutral ground.

“Yes, Alpha King, as always it is good to see you as well. I stumbled upon the young Alpha King while taking a border patrol.” the man Alpha Snow said, a faux smile appearing on his face as his Beta, Ristros, finally appeared. Another man that no one truly knew much about.

“I was actually looking for him, myself. If you will excuse us, Alpha Snow. We will let you get back to your patrol.” Grant said as he grabbed the back of Jax’s neck and pulled him to his feet, moving away from the other Alpha and back onto their Territory where it was a little safer.

“Agreed, good day to you Alpha King.” Alpha Snow called as he and his Beta disappeared into the trees.

When Grant had hauled Jax back to the Alpha house, and despite his protests Jax was easily carried back to their house by his father, Grant threw his son against the wall in anger, cracking the wall and sending dust falling to the floor. “You are a MORON!!” Grant yelled as he released Jax, letting him slide down the wall and onto the floor. Jax looked up at his dad in shock but he fell quiet as he stared back at his father. There had been something in his father’s eyes that told Jax just what he was yelling at him for. Jace and Orion.

Scarlet came down the stairs and when she saw her son, she smacked him up the backside of his head so hard Jax almost fell forward. For an Omega the little Wolf hit HARD. She was so angry the little she-Wolf was glaring at her son while tears flowed down her pixie-like face.

Scarlet smacked Jax again before screaming at him at full force, “You have now made BOTH of your Mates fall into a REJECTION coma. You have three days to either ACCEPT them BOTH or REJECT them fully, letting them BOTH DIE.” Scarlet screamed at Jax. Each word she pronounced with a growl she was smacking Jax a little harder than before.

“Mom!! MOM!! Stop I get IT!!” Jax yelled back trying to block her punches. Grant stopped his Mate as Jax moved away from them.

“I needed some time to think about some stuff. I didn’t think they would think I was fucking rejecting them though.” Jax grumbled before he pulled himself to his feet. He was trying to grasp what was actually going on through the ringing in his head.

His mom growled at him and then punched him in the face, sending him right back off his feet. Again, looking at the tiny little 4ft 8inch Omega Female no one would guess that she had that kind of power to knock her Alpha son, who was basically a wall of muscle that stood at 6ft 7inches, off his feet. However, Scarlet was not just an Omega. She was an Alpha Omega. Because of Grants blood mixing with hers during a few battles, Scarlet was much stronger than most Omegas. It had helped her to not only birth her Alpha sons but to birth Twin Alpha sons. She was stronger than most other Wolves as well, meaning she was able to give birth to a much stronger generation of Alphas as well, but Jax was too much of an airhead sometimes to see what was right in front of him.

“You better go fix this Jaxson Sawyer King, or I swear the Goddess will be the last female you will wish to see. Those are my sons in that infirmary because my other son had to have some type of psychotic break. Now go fucking fix it.” Scarlet snapped seriously, pushing Jax back onto his feet and over to the infirmary hall. She was practically dragging Jax down the hall on his ass but she was too angry with him to let him utter a word.

Jax stood up again and dusted himself off from the little bit of debris his mother had caused, before going to the room his Mates were in. He needed to fix his mistakes and quickly. He didn’t even realize what he had done, but he knew all of this was his fault. Again.
