Chapter 1419
The next morning, Brielle got up a little after 7, only to discover that her parents had stayed in another villa last night, giving her and her little family some space. The Premier Palace was spotless, with all of yesterday's chaos neatly sorted out. Only Isaac was there, eagerly presenting Little Noir, the puppy, to her. "Mom, look, Little Noir."
Isaac was still getting used to calling her "mom." Each time he did, his ears would turn a little red.
Brielle didn't want to rush him. She was about to reassure him that it was fine to take his time when she noticed him lower his lashes.
"I'm really happy, Brielle. We're a family."
He was letting her know how thrilled he was to be part of the family.
Brielle found her words stuck in her throat, but her smile said it all.
"Little cricket, me too."
Isaac glanced upstairs. Was Dad having a lazy morning today?
He placed Little Noir on the couch, and right then, Noir came in, rubbing against Isaac's knee.
Little Noir had opened his eyes and was playfully sprawled on the sofa.
Isaac's eyes sparkled with joy as he caught a glimpse of Max coming down the stairs.
Max joined Isaac, giving Noir a gentle pat on the head.
Seeing this, Brielle knew it wasn't King; it was Max who had returned.
Isaac just glanced up briefly, then looked away, the word "dad" unspoken.
Max sat beside him, pulling Brielle close, and asked, "How did you sleep last night?"
Brielle nodded, her cheeks turning a bit pink.
"Max, how about you? You've seemed a bit tired lately, maybe from all the variety show filming?"
"I'm good, but he," Max paused, his eyes landing on the ring on her finger. It was simple yet elegant, perfect for everyday wear.
Max took her hand in his, admiring the ring closely.
Last night's proposal was grand and beautiful, a moment King would surely remember forever.
"What's up with him?" Brielle asked, smiling as she intertwined her fingers with his.
Max shook his head, switching topics. "Hungry?"
Brielle laughed, thinking about the variety show challenges. "Actually, yes. I've been on that show and haven't really had a proper meal."
Max chuckled, ruffling her hair. "Got any ideas for the wedding venue?"
The proposal was just the beginning; they still needed to plan the wedding.
Brielle's eyes widened, then she
laughed bashfully. "I haven't given it much thought. I don't fancy going abroad or to some island. How about we do it here at Premier Palace? Just a simple get-together."

Last night's proposal, a spectacle for the world to see, was still fresh in her mind, a memory she'd cherish forever. But for the wedding, she preferred something laid-back, right here at home.
"Sounds perfect. It's all up to you."
Max led her to the dining table, where they enjoyed a cozy family breakfast.
Throughout, Isaac kept glancing at Max, hesitating to say something.
Max knew what he wanted to ask and simply offered him more food, a silent gesture of understanding.
Isaac lowered his head, deciding not to ask.
Meanwhile, the news of Brielle's proposal was still trending on social media, with the video being shared millions of times.
The show had launched a new poll, asking viewers to vote for their favorite couple from the seasons. Brielle and Max were leading by over two hundred million votes. Isaac sneakily voted on his phone, making sure to avoid Brielle and Max's watchful eyes.
Wesley caught him in the act and immediately asked Isaac to teach him how to vote, leading to both of them, usually indifferent to such
things, casting their precious votes.
