Married at First Sight

Chapter 2096

Mr. Brown scolded his daughter. “Sonny’s going to his aunt’s house. Liberty will be busy with her work and won’t have time to
look after Sonny, so she needs Serenity’s help to take care of him. If you want Lucas to go over, who’ll look after your child?
Lucas is so naughty. If he were to damage something, would you be able to pay for it?”
Wildridge Manor was a vast property that belonged to the wealthiest family. It was a place where ordinary people like them could
never enter.
They did hear about how beautiful and luxurious the place was.
Every decoration in the York family’s house was valuable. Lucas was mischievous and loved to wreck things. If he were to
damage something in that house, it would be impossible for them to compensate for it, even if Chelsea’s entire family sold
themselves.
Chelsea pouted and did not say anything else after getting scolded.
Liberty would never bring Lucas to Wildridge Manor either.
She still remembered how Lucas and his brother used to bully Sonny. Sonny’s condition would have been unfathomable if
Zachary and his brothers had not arrived in time.
Liberty did not get back at them because the Reptons’ eldest son had learned his lesson. However, that did not mean she could
forget what happened.
Mr. Brown had a point too. Lucas was too naughty and loved to spoil things. In the past, he would often barge into Liberty’s room
and damage her skincare and even Sonny’s toys. He was a spoiled child with destructive powers.
If he were to destroy something in the manor, Liberty would be put in a difficult spot.
Therefore, Liberty would not bring Lucas to Wildridge Manor unless something was wrong with her brain.
“Goodbye, Granddad and Grandmom.”
Sonny waved Mr. and Mrs. Brown goodbye and walked away with his mom.
After walking a short distance, Duncan lifted Sonny and let him sit on his thighs. Then, they left with the bodyguards pushing
Duncan’s wheelchair.

Liberty told Duncan, “You’ll spoil Sonny rotten, Mr. Lewis.
“He can get some exercise if he walks.”
Duncan said, “Sonny’s still young. I don’t want to let him walk too much because it’s tiring. I’m not spoiling him either. I’m just
carrying him for a part of the journey. I’ll let him down after we get into the car.”
Liberty was speechless.
They would be sitting after getting into the car. Even if Duncan did not carry Sonny, Sonny would not need to walk.
Duncan simply liked spoiling Sonny.
He raised his head and looked toward Liberty. He asked, “Aren’t we eating? Are we heading to Wildridge Manor right away?”
Duncan wanted to go to the manor too.
However, it was inconvenient for him to move around.
If he went, everyone would have to look after him. It would affect their mood to have fun.
Duncan’s expression dimmed. Ever since he became disabled after the accident, he had been unable to attend gatherings with
his friends. Even when he could occasionally go to the company to have a look, he could not play basketball or go horse riding
with his friends as often as he did before.
He could not even walk independently.
Although Duncan put much effort into rehabilitation, there was not much progress.
His family kept reassuring him that it was normal not to have significant improvements as it had not been long since he started
rehabilitation. They advised him not to be hasty.
“We’ll head over after eating. I only said that just now because I didn’t want Chelsea and her family following us.”
Liberty was frank in front of Duncan. “Chelsea’s personality just can’t be changed. She still likes taking advantage of others.
She’s exceptionally brazen and likes to create trouble too. My relationship with Hank turned sour because of her and her
mother.”

Of course, the main reason for their relationship ending was Hank cheating on her.
Liberty did not say that out loud because she did not want to taint her son’s ears.
