The Divine Sword Tower, the place where Mr. Collins resided.

Mitch led Carlos to the tower’s entrance, ready to go inside.

But they were stopped by two old men with white hair, looking cold as ice. These two extended their hands and blocked

The two white–haired men looked at Mitch and said, “Mr. Bates, except for the elders, no one can enter the Divine Sword Tower without the Sect Master’s permission.

The two white–haired men were the martialists who guarded the Divine Sword Tower.

Mitch turned to Carlos and said, ‘Carlos, wait outside for a moment. I’ll go in and talk to the sect master first.”

“Sure thing.” Carlos agreed and stayed where he was.

These two master martialists then moved their hands and let Mitch go inside the Divine Sword Tower

Once inside the Divine Sword Tower, Mitch casually closed the door behind him.

In a well–lit hall inside the villa. Mr. Collins was relaxing in a large chair, sipping coffee.

“Welcome. Mr. Bates. Come and have some Earl Grey tea, Elijah said as he gestured for Mitch to join him.

Mitch agreed, walking over to sit on the couch.

They both sipped their Earl Grey tea quietly for a moment.

“Mr. Bates, what do you think about what happened with the Hawk Sect today?” Elijah asked, taking a sip of his tea and looking at Mitch.

After a moment of thought. Mitch replied, “Mr. Collins, it’s frustrating that the Hawk Sect tried to take advantage of both our Divine Sword Sect and the Maiden Sect today.

But we have discovered that Abraham Astor has the second volume of the Longevity Scripture. That’s something useful.

Elijah nodded. “You’re right.”

“Well, even though it’s irritating that the Hawk Sect attempted to take advantage of us, if we were in their shoes, we might have done the same.

Elijah then looked at Mitch and said, “Now that we know Abraham’s got the second volume of the Longevity Scripture, any thoughts on how we can get it back?”

This was the reason why Elijah had invited Mitch over.

Ever since Elijah found out that Abraham had the second volume of the Longevity Scripture, it had been on his mind.

He just couldn’t stop thinking about how to get the second volume of the Longevity Scripture.

But Elijah also knew how capable this black–masked man was.

He was definitely a tough nut to crack, and then there was Gilmore Reed, the one who’d destroyed the Nelson family and taken control of the Evergreen Sect.

What Elijah didn’t know was that these two were actually the same person.

Mitch chimed in. “You’ve got quite the foresight. Mr. Collins”

Mitch smiled at Elijah and said, “Oh, by the way, Mr. Collins, my cousin Carlos, who’s been in the central region for a few days, just came by the Divine Sword Sect.

Coincidentally, he’s got some inside information about the black–masked man and Gilmore Reed”

Hearing this. Elijah’s eyes widened in surprise, “Carlos? The sect leader of the Five Mountains Sect in the central region, the one you mentioned yesterday?”

Mitch nodded, confirming, “Yes. Mr. Collins. That’s the one.”

Elijah quickly said, “Come on, bring Master Carlos in immediately.”

When Mitch had mentioned Carlos coming to the Divine Sword Sect yesterday, Elijah hadn’t thought much of it

As the sect master of a large sect, Elijah hadn’t paid much attention to the smaller clans in the central region.

But when Mitch mentioned that Carlos had some information about the black–masked man and Gilmore Reed, it changed everything.

That’s why Elijah’s attitude changed so quickly.

However, Mitch added, “Well, Mr. Collins, there are two master martialists guarding the entrance to the Divine Sword Tower. Carlos can’t just walk in.”

Elijah said, “I’ll take care of that.”

Then he called to the entrance of the villa, “Matthew, Leon, bring Master Carlos inside now!”

The two master martialists outside quickly responded, “Yes, Mr. Collins.

After a short wait, the villa door swung open, and Carlos was ushered inside by the two master martialists.

As soon as Carlos entered, the two master martialists closed the door behind him gently.

“Please, take a seat, Master Carlos, Elijah greeted politely, motioning toward the couch.

Carlos thanked Mr. Collins and sat down.

Elijah personally prepared a cup of coffee for him.

“Would you like some coffee, Master Carlos?”

Thank you, Mr. Collins. By the way. I’m no longer the sect leader of the Five Mountains Sect in the central region. You can just call me Carlos, Carlos replied in a somber tone.

Mitch thought he might just be giving Carlos a polite answer.

But Carlos was already tearing up with gratitude. He said to Elijah, “Mr. Collins, I want to thank you in advance for your

kindness.”

Carlos then started to get up as if to kneel down in gratitude.

Elijah quickly got up and stopped him. “Carlos, there’s no need for such formality.”

With Elijah’s help, Carlos settled back into his seat.

Elijah looked at Carlos and said, “So, Carlos, Mr. Bates just told me that you’ve got some inside information about the black- masked man and Gilmore Reed?”

Carlos gave a subtle nod, “Yes, Mr. Collins, that’s true. I do know their backgrounds.”

Elijah leaned in eagerly. “Please, give me the details.”

Carlos began to share, The black–masked man is the Lord Dragon Black Eagle of the Central Dragon Sect. He not only took away my martial arts but also took control of my Five Mountains Sect

Elijah’s brow furrowed. “Lord Dragon Black Eagle?”

This was the first time he had heard of that name.

Carlos added, “Well, Lord Dragon Black Eagle is quite mysterious and hard to pin down.

This guy showed up out of nowhere and quickly made big moves. After taking over the Eight Noble Sects in Oakhaven, he wasted no time in gaining control of two Master Sects in the central region and other 14 sects.

That’s when the Dragon Sect was born.

To make a clear distinction between Oakhaven and the central region, they split it into the Oakhaven Dragon Sect and the Central Dragon Sect.”
