"Christian, have you eaten breakfast? I made it in the morning." Lexie stood by the CEO's office door with a thermal insulation box in hand. Her docile and obedient appearance was filled with anticipation. "I've already eaten. You eat it by yourself." Lexie said.

Lexie clenched her five fingers tightly. Even though she was unwilling, she still did not reveal a single bit of it.

She carried the lunchbox and turned to look at the man who had already sat down and started to worked. She then asked hesitantly: "Christian, are you still mad about last night?"

Christian turned on his laptop. He wore a neatly dressed suit today, and now sat there with a noble and cold look on his face.

It was a sunny day, and the morning wind was blowing through her curly hair. But Lexie's expression did not reveal any comfort, only panic and a faint sense of anxiety. She then made a phone call.
