The fury she had harbored was now all gone. After all, she needed to borrow money. If Damien could lend to Chanel, then he would lend some to her. Although she would be borrowing more, he knew she earned an annual salary of nearly two million dollars. She could pay him back.
"Could you lend me some money for now? I'll pay you the same interest rate as the bank." Clarissa finally made her bid.
"No."
