"I like Clarissa. Will that do?" Seth glared back at Damien. "She's already divorced. Even if she was married, that's in the past. Other noises came through the call.

"The daddy who took me to the hospital."

"But I want him to be."
Through the phone, Damien could hear Chanel say, "Hey, Damien, I was just preparing for class just now. Logan took my phone without me even knowing it. Don't listen to him, okay? You do your work." Chanel sounded regretful.
