Fannie had no idea Astrid would turn out to be such a tough cookie. She put on a wronged face: "Astrid, you've totally got me wrong. We've known each other since we were kids, I consider you my best friend, how could I possibly backstab you!"

A glimmer of joy flashed in Astrid's eyes, just as she was about to greet Paula, Paula frowned and spoke first: "Astrid, we haven't seen each other for so many years, when did you become so unreasonable? It was you who wanted to sleep with a sugar daddy back in the day, how can you blame Fannie?"

She turned around and headed toward the lounge, but Fannie and Paula followed her.
