rugged, muscular man behind him. The latter’s deeply tanned skin and cold,
sharp gaze made him seem particularly intimidating
“That’s Lieutenant Colonel Gerald Cook from the Silver Fox Military
“And the man with him? I heard he’s Robert Rodrick, a legendary instructor
from abroad!”
“Robert Rodrick? Is that for real? He’s the renowned chief instructor of the
Griffin Corps!”
“D*mn! I didn’t expect the Silver Fox Military to have such extensive
connections!”
Members of the Fletcher Family exchanged anxious whispers, their faces
betraying fear. As businessmen, they felt powerless against these
battle–hardened men, who not only had strong backing but also
commanded troops with impunity in Yeringham.

“Lieutenant Colonel Cook, why have you brought your troops to the Fletcher
Family?” Riley asked, biting the bullet.
“Old Mr. Fletcher, hasn’t your steward told you? Or are you just pretending not
to know?” Gerald retorted with arrogance, disregarding the fact that Fletcher
was the head of a prominent business family in Eldoria. To him, these wealthy
families seemed as fragile as paper, easily flattened by his power and
military strength.
Riley’s expression grew cold. Although the Fletcher family couldn’t confront
the Silver Fox Military directly, they still had some recourse. If the situation
escalated and attracted media attention, there would surely be a backlash
against the Silver Fox Military’s actions.
“Gerald, don’t push us too far! Eldoria is a law–abiding society, and we are
respectable business leaders. We also control several media outlets. We will
ensure you face the consequences if you harm our people without cause!”

can you do about it?”
Jake and the others were infuriated by his arrogant demeanor. However,
they felt utterly powerless, knowing that Teddy and the Quill Family
manipulated the situation behind the scenes.
“Stop talking nonsense. Let’s get to the point!”
Gerald responded haughtily, “Starcrest Port is now under the control of the
Eldoria authorities. The Fletcher family must evacuate immediately or face
the consequences!”
“That’s absurd! The Quill family is clearly eyeing our dock! They’ve fabricated official documents to have the Eldoria authorities requisition our port at a low

angrily.
Riley joined in furiously, “The Quill family used the same tactic to seize the
Stewart family’s dock before. Are they trying to pull the same trick on us?”
“We will not be intimidated! Your villainous actions would be exposed!” The
members of the Fletcher Family were furious and filled with righteous
indignation.
Ignoring their shouts and curses, Gerald waved his hand. A squad of soldiers forcefully made their way in, confiscating all the phones and cameras from
the Fletcher Family members. They also ruthlessly destroyed all the recording,
equipment.
“This is outrageous! They’re going too far! We’re going to fight back!” Riley,
maintaining his dignity as one of Eldoria’s elite families, couldn’t just stand by
while they were being bullied.
However, their bodyguards had just been subdued by Emmanuel and Sage.

reputation suggests!” Gerald praised Robert effusively. He had been his
instructor during his military days abroad, and due to his mentorship, Gerald
had risen to a prominent position in the Silver Fox Military.
In many ways, Robert had supported Gerald.
With a cold and proud demeanor, Robert responded, “I am greatly
disappointed in the Fletcher Family. Not a single one of you is worth fighting!
The Fletcher Family members were seething with rage but felt utterly
powerless.
