Chapter 11
“Get out! I don’t want to see you!” Eileen pointed towards the door, her voice ice-cold.
“What’s wrong? Wasn’t that man’s satisfied you? You better be polite to me, Eileen, or I’ll let the whole company know about this. Let’s see how you survive here then.”
Eileen pressed the intercom to call Jenna. “Come here for a moment.”
Rushing in, Jenna saw Eileen pointing at Belen on the sofa. “She’s not my guest. Please ask her to leave.”
“Who says I’m not? I came specifically for your jewelry design. I want you to design for me, Belen retorted, suddenly arrogant.
Just then, the n*ecklace she was wearing today was revealed around her n*eck. Eileen’s gaze narrowed instantly.
She saw that she was wearing one of her designs, a high-end custom piece, and wondered if it was a knock-off.
“Leave before I lose my temper.” Eileen stood up, unapologetically firm.
Belen’s face darkened, and she angrily stormed out. “I’m going to complain to your manager and get you fired from this company.”
Jenna was startled. She thought that it was a customer, but it turned out to be someone looking for trouble with Eileen.
As soon as Belen left, Jenna panicked. “Eileen, you must stop this lady, you can’t let her file a complaint against you!”
But Eileen was already seething. Stepping out of her office, she saw Belen causing a scene. “Call your boss over. I want to complain about your designer named Eileen Norman. She refused a client, was rude, and even told the client to leave.”
The whole office seemed to watch the drama unfold, observing Belen’s tirade.
Taking a deep breath, Eileen approached Belen, asking coldly, “What exactly do you.
want?”
“What do I want? I want you out of this company,” Belen hissed venomously.
The incident from five years ago

“Oww…” Belen screamed, losing her balance and falling to the ground. “Eileen, I’m your client!”
The entire office gasped in shock, thinking, ‘Eileen hit a client?
What audacity!
‘Does she think she’s invincible?”
Eileen glared at the n*ecklace around Belen’s n*eck, feeling a surge of irritation. She watched Belen’s theatrics unfold, not caring about their authenticity. She just wanted to rip off that n*ecklace. As she crouched down and yanked at Belen’s n*eck…
“Ouch…” Belen screamed, feeling the n*ecklace tightening around her throat.
Eileen pulled with all her might.
Belen was driven to the brink of madness by Eileen’s actions. That n*ecklace was her favorite piece, worth nearly a million! She immediately grappled with Eileen, trying to prevent her from breaking it..
As they struggled over the n*ecklace, a deep, cold male voice echoed from the direction of the elevator.
“Eileen, stop it.”
Eileen looked up, and Belen, hearing the familiar voice, lifted her bruised face in disbelief.
And there she was, frozen in shock.
‘Why was Winston here?’ she wondered.
Winston observed Eileen holding Belen by the n*ecklace. He
immediately seized Eileen’s wrist, pulling her up. His brows furrowed, anger apparent as he asked, “Have. you had enough?”
After speaking, he pushed Eileen’s hand away and approached Belen. Belen’s heart was pounding with fear. She hadn’t expected Winston to be here and to know Eileen.
Just when she thought her charade was over, Winston suddenly leaned down, his voice. gentle. “Belen, are you alright?”
Belen instantly switched to acting mode, her nose reddening as tears flooded her eyes. “Winston, it hurts…”
With that, she weakly leaned into his embrace, pretending to cough painfully and holding her n*eck as if in agony.

Eileen’s pupils dilated in disbelief. She thought. ‘Belen knows Winston? And he is treating her so tenderly?
“What is their relationship?”
Not only that, but the entire office was buzzing with one thought. ‘Eileen had attacked the boss’s woman, and she’s doomed!’
Amidst her tears, Belen scrutinized the interaction between Eileen and Winston, her joy growing by the second. She became increasingly convinced of one thing: Eileen also didn’t know that Winston was the man from that night.
So, they both have no idea about their encounter five years ago. That was a relief for Belen. It seemed like fortune was on her side.
“Please hug me, Winston…” Belen pleaded pitifully, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
Winston, seeing her on the ground with a swollen face, scooped her up and headed towards the elevator.
As the elevator doors closed, Eileen was still in a daze, thinking, ‘Belen has such capabilities? After five years, she became Winston’s girlfriend?”
“Eileen, aren’t you going to pack up and leave? Offending a customer is one thing, but she happens to be Mr. Nielsen’s beloved. You’re really bold!” Dalia approached with a taunt, seeing her chance to claim the company’s prize money.
Eileen took a deep breath, needing time to process this news. ‘Belen, Winston’s beloved? It’s quite bewildering.
What charm does Belen possess to attract someone like Winston?
“The only plausible explanation is…
‘He must be blind..
Definitely!
Otherwise, someone as malicious as Belen doesn’t deserve his affection.”
Eileen returned to the office feeling depressed and then closed the door, ignoring the rumors outside.
In Winston’s office, Belen dabbed her tears with a tissue, narrating today’s incident. amidst so bs.
“Eileen was my… my classmate. We had a past disagreement. I didn’t expect her to

refuse my order, and then… then she insulted me. When I said I would complain, she attacked me… even used her n*ecklace to choke me. Look, my n*eck is all red.”
Winston observed the red marks on Belen’s n*eck, indicative of Eileen’s ferocity, and reevaluated his understanding of Eileen.
“I know that her mother died when she was young, and her father neglected her. I do sympathize with her, but I didn’t know she was so viciously violent,” Belen said, covering her bruised face and shedding silent tears.
“I’ll handle this matter.” Winston reassured her. “I’ll have someone take you home to rest.”
“Winston, how will you handle
it? Will you fire her?” Belen raised her tearful eyes, displaying her vulnerability, seeking his sympathy.
Winston pressed the intercom, summoning his assistant, Konnor, to escort Belen home. As Belen stood up, she clutched Winston’s sleeve, and said, “You mustn’t let her off easily. She’s so uncouth and violent, she doesn’t deserve to be your employee.”
