Killer (The Satan Sniper's Motorcycle Club book 5)

Chapter 22 (Killer)

"I've been wondering, what the fuck could have ticked them off so much they left her with the dead guy and vanished? That just doesn't gel with me," Zero rubs at his scar a sign something isn't adding up. I already have my suspicion about that, but I never talk until I have the facts. Natasha is not someone I'm keen on talking to just yet. I needed to keep my eye on Sienna; I suspected she had much bigger fish to catch, and I was going to enjoy the trip. We didn't get to talk in the car; I knew she was in pain, and when she got back, I presumed she needed space. But she can't hide forever.

"Natasha isn't telling us the rest of the story. The girl is cute, but she can't lie to save her life. Frost said she'll handle Natasha," River says.

"Either way, Prez, I set up a meeting with the President of the Chainsaws. The MC is notorious for shooting first and asking questions later," Zero says.

"Okay, I'll send After and Mercy to be our shadows, make sure you take those fuckers out if they so much as blink wrong." After's response is a flick of her knife. "Let Frost and Knight do the talking," I tell River.

"Okay. Killer you and Snake can go to Seattle see if Gabriel DeMarco is going to be a long time issue. I suggest you meet with Marco too," River says.

"And the bounty?" Texas asks.

"We keep Natasha here for now. Marcus wants his daughter safe. Once the shits settled we hand her back to him."

The meeting carries on and we discuss the pandemic that started affecting certain parts of the country and the entire world.

I tune them out as my mind recalls all the recent conversations I've had. If Sienna is here now looking for Diamond, surely she must know that Diamond is back from the secure location she was stuck in. Why didn't Sienna just go to her? I never thought about that, unless it wasn't Diamond she was looking for. I knew I needed to talk to her and find out what was going on.

Once the meeting is wrapped up, I go straight to Sienna's room. I knock and surprise hits me when Natasha opens the door. It's almost 10 at night.

Her back goes ramrod straight, and she looks at me in equal parts shock and something else I don't want to decipher.

Her blue hair is shorter than the last time we met. Her face is bruised, with swelling on her left jaw. I'm a firm believer that most of the time we are responsible for what happens to us. "Who is it?" Sienna asks in that strong high deep note voice she's always had.

"It's Killer," Natasha says as she takes a step aside to let me in. The room looks good. It was one of the 5 left after we extended the Clubhouse. The next two bedrooms on the right were After and Mercy's and the one on the left was empty.

Sienna didn't know this, but the Club made an informed decision to install cameras inside the bedroom. One by the kid's cot and two on either side of the bedroom corners. It wasn't for spying, but more to protect her. I had a feeling the DeMarco's would not play nice with securing the child.

Sienna is on the bed, covered partially with a sheet. Her attention is on Kaleb, who lying next to her, kicking his tiny feet. The kid is already showing signs of being a busybody. I walk in and take a seat by her feet, ignoring the woman standing behind me.

"How's the pain? Hannah said she gave you something to assist?" I noticed the pills still sitting on the bedside the moment I walked in. Which means she hasn't taken it.

She puts her lips together, looking uncomfortable, which I find odd.

"It's fine," She mumbles playing with Kaleb's feet.

I take a deep breath and tilt my head, "Natasha, excuse Sienna and I for a moment."

"Ah.."

"No, she's alright where she is," Sienna responds.

"Get out," My voice comes out harsh and Natasha jumps and flees, which always worked on her when she was a kid. Victoria and she would climb the trees, spying on Jace and me to get extra pocket money from David.

Natasha closes the door, and Sienna glares at me.

"That was awfully harsh, don't you think?" She asks, but it isn't really a question, it's more of an observation. A correct one.

"I want to know what the fuck is going on with you, and before you tell me nothing, I saw your letter and I read it. So the kid is Gabriel's and I take it since he is in prison and you went ace out to play knight and shining fucking armour pregnant and alone, there's bad blood there. So you better start talking."

She drops her eyes and stares at Kaleb. He changes by the hour, but I don't see his dad in him.

"He went to prison, and his father decided he wasn't happy with a half-blooded Grandchild from their future boss, so I got the fuck out of there." So they don't want the kid? I wonder at the accuracy of that statement.

I knew when Vincent was 10 his mother insisted he be a vital part of the Famiglia. And a made-man was what he became, only to meet an early death by a Texan Belle with a gun. My sister shot my brother in the heart, 3 times.

My brother was many things, but a full Italian wasn't one of them. What my father ever thought when he decided to stick his dick there was beyond me. It seemed like his past mistakes really were falling on his children. Our family was too intertwined with the Catelli Famiglia, and we needed to change that. And whether or not I ADMITTED it, Sienna was part and parcel of that family.

"Was this before or after they found out you killed his brother and Uncle?"

"Well, that part they found out a few weeks ago, and it wasn't only me, so if you think Marco is going to want revenge think again," She says keeping her gaze on her kid. And that surprises me. Because why the fuck would Marco be involved with taking out his own people? He was already the Capo Dei Capi. Unless there was someone else who was involved.

I look up at her, and she looks at me for a moment and I see the unspoken words. Deciding to drop that part for now, I focus on the matter at hand.

"So were you going to tell us?" I have to ask the question.

"No, I was going to leave and get my kid out of America," Sienna's honesty has always been something I had a hard time believing, she's a fantastic liar. But I believe her. After finding the passport in her backpack, she left in the car it would be silly not to.

"So basically you were going to run away?"

"Well, not just yet. I need to find Diamond first, she's in danger. Killing them doesn't solve the problem she made with the Bratva, when she martyred herself to save your brother. But I am sure you already know that. So she will join me."

"Because of the file?" She's been a delight at answering my questions so far, so I give it a shot.

"The file?" Her face is blank.

"Surely you know what I am talking about. The document that has all the identities of the special-Forces and their operations. And the list of Team 5," I know I am lying it on thick, and cajoling her answers out o her is not off the table.

She smiles, and it is a very calm one, considering I JUST asked about the one thing many men would kill to have.

"You think I want to find Diamond because she has a file with that info?" She laughs and shakes her head.

"It isn't a file that has that information, Killer," She informs me as she wraps Kaleb in her blanket.

"What are you talking about?" I'm genuinely curious what she knows. This implicates many people. Dangerous people who would kill her and Diamond.

"Do you honestly think the Frankfurts were stupid enough to keep a file?"

"If it isn't a file then what is it?"

She smiles, and it isn't a good one as her light green eyes hold my mind at a standstill.

"Like I would tell you?" Her face is unbelieving, as if she thinks I am crazy.

"I was hoping so, since your life depends on it," My hand goes to the chain dangling from my leather pants.

"If you think I fear dying, well, you are more stupid than I initially thought. If that's all you can leave."

"Actually it is not," I carry on, "Natasha is hiding something, we need to get it out of her. So heal up crazy girl and find out what she isn't telling us because if the Chainsaw MC comes after her, it's going to affec you as much as us." I look at Kaleb to get my message across, and although she says nothing. The slight tick in her jaw says more than her words would. Natasha didn't mention everything to Sienna either.

"I'm done now, sleep tight." I walk out and find Natasha in the passage, and she says nothing, but I know she was listening in.
