Chapter 231 Roar
Soon the news went viral across Kato and amazed myriads of people.
Paris, the excellent third-generation heir of the Maguire family, was dead in an assassination. The body was abandoned in the wild. The family was the top clan in Kato. But someone dared to kill Paris, so it was really a humiliation to the family.
Inside the individual luxurious villa of the Maguire family.
The body was placed on the ground. The cut mark was clear on the blooding body.
The deceased body still showed a fearful look; the eyes were wide open.
Sure enough, he was so desperate before his death.
The family's relatives were also there.
Tom sat at the most prestigious seat with an extremely gloomy look.
On his left side sat a middle-aged man who was deeply sad.
He was Sean, Paris's dad.
Hardon was near him and was also terrified of seeing his brother murdered.
"Who dares to kill my grandson? I will take his fucking life!"
Sean roared and his eyes turned red.
Two things happened that night - the first was that Hardon offended Martin and the Maguire family paid a heavy cost to save Hardon.
Consequently, the Maguire family signed an unfair treaty with Martin. Hardon was forced by a young man to beg for forgiveness.
The other thing was Paris's death.
Over the years, Kato had been run by the Maguire family and the Woods family. There was no such an embarrassing incident before. Then it happened in a single night.
"Dad, we should check it out. Anyone who dares to kill Paris is our enemy!"
Sean said angrily and cried.
"Of course!"
Tom said coldly.
Then a middle-aged figure hurried into the villa.
"Master, it is almost done. Baron is probably the culprit but there is not enough evidence."
The middle-aged man said.
"Oh? Who is it do you say?"
Tom rose to his feet, and Hardon also heard a familiar name. He began to shiver.
"A man named Baron comes from Cona. He is a matrilocal son-in-law who is brought there by Susan..."
The middle-aged man told everything he got to him.
He also made it clear that Paris employed someone to assassinate Baron.
But the information he collected by now was inadequate.
"Bang!"
Tom rapped on the table and roared, "You again! A mere matrilocal son-in-law dares to fight against my family. Son of bitch!"
He dared not to easily made the decision because of Martin's afraid when they met Baron at the Spring Garden Restaurant. After all, Baron broke the arm of Martin's son. He would do nothing if Martin didn't order to kill Baron.
But now Paris had died, and Baron had something to do with the murder. Martin couldn't stand it anymore.
"Master!"
Tom called Martin and said, "Sir, have you heard the news that my grandson is killed?"
Martin surely got the news and hurried to ask, "Mr. Tom, we are going to contact you and wonder what is going on."
"Mr. Martin, have you checked that Baron's information when we were at the restaurant?" Tom asked.
Martin was surprised and hurried to rejoin, "Yes, but no news so far."
"I have figured out his information. Actually, he is only a matrilocal son-in-law who is slightly able to fight..." Tom told everything his staff knew to Martin.
Martin kept silent and began to say after Tom ended his words, "Is it related to your grandson's death?"
"Despite no evidence, my grandson's death is definitely because of him."
Tom said, "I intend to kill him so I want to inform you."
Martin hurried to say, "Me too. I will kill the young lad who dares to break my son's arm!"
Martin originally wanted to kill Baron after totally figuring out his information. But Tom's grandson had been killed. Tom's conclusion about Baron couldn't be wrong. Martin agreed and both of them hung up the phone after negotiating some strategies.
On the other side, Baron and Susan had returned to the hotel.
"Thank you for your help tonight, Baron!"
Susan extended her gratitude at the gate and said.
She intended to flirt with Baron, but she knew it was impossible.
It would backfire if she went so far and crossed the line.
On the other hand, Susan boggled that Baron was the person she began to love, while Tracy was her best friend.
She really cherished the friendship with Tracy.
But she couldn't control her feeling toward Baron whenever thinking of him.
Baron smiled, "No big deal!"
He went into his room straight.
The next early morning, Baron received Susan's call.
"Baron, Paris is dead!"
Susan's voice was fully astonished.
Baron said lightly, "He deserves it. Good, then you will not be pestered by him."
Susan became unnerved when she sensed Baron's composure.
She didn't know Baron well but she was sure he was extraordinary.
She was concerned that Paris's death was related to him.
The Maguire family was big trouble no matter how powerful Baron was.
The family would still blame it on Baron, even though Baron was innocent.
It was all because of her that Baron would encounter a tremendous danger. Susan would feel guilty.
"Well, forget it. Tracy is calling me. Maybe she asks me to attend the wedding ceremony." Baron hung up the phone.
Susan was still flurried.
Soon she received Edward's phone call.
She answered the phone and Edward began to roar, "Susan, tell me if Paris's death has something to do with you? And who is the young man that stayed with you last night?"
