Invincible Heir

Chapter 225 I Quite Like the Smell

The words surprised everyone. They did not expect that Baron would decide to step in.

The scowl on Martin's face deepened. He stared hard at Baron, without a word.

"Get over here!" Baron said to Marry.

For a moment, Marry looked at him in astonishment. Then she recovered from her surprise. She crawled to her feet and ran to Baron immediately.

Baron went out of the room with Tracy in front of the whole spectators, followed by Jacob and Marry.

Martin stared after them and said nothing until they were lost in the darkness. He turned his attention back to others. "What happened here had to be kept secret. If it gets out, I will find kill the one who talks!" Everyone was scared and promised not to tell anyone.

When others were gone, Martin and Tom went back to the next room.

"Do me a favor, Mr. Maguire. I want to know everything about the young man. Could you look into his background?" Martin said with a very straight face and a very serious tone.

Very reluctantly, Tom nodded. "OK. Just leave it to me. I'll give you the answer as soon as I can."

"That's great!" Martin said. "There is one more thing. We should sign our contract as soon as possible. I hope our first cooperation will go smoothly."

Tom was filled with joy at the good news. "Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Brook!" he said hurriedly.

After Baron and Tracy went out of the restaurant, Tracy stopped and turned to Marry. "You're safe. Just go!" she said coldly.

"Sorry, Tracy!" Marry said. Her eyes were red.

Tracy's face did not change. She glanced at Marry with indifference. "From this day forward, I don't know you anymore," she said firmly.

"Let's go, Baron!" Tracy softly said, taking his hand.

Marry wanted to followed them, but Jacob stopped her. "Keep away from them, or I will kill you!" said Jacob savagely.

At these words, Marry stood still. She was looking pale and stunned.

Marry watched them leave. Then an awful smile touched her lips. "Son of a bitch!" she said through gritted teeth.

Just then, she heard a voice, "Hey, pretty. Are you alone?"

Marry turned and shocked to see several young men walking towards her, evil grins spreading across their faces. Marry was immediately surrounded by them.

She went very pale, looking terrified. "What do you want?" she shouted.

"Guess! What the fuck do I want?" One of the young men said and stressed the word 'fuck'.

Marry could smell the wine on them. Apparently, they were drunk.

Next moment, a man grabbed her arm and stared at her with drunken eyes. "I think you're bored. Come and play with us!"

At these words, another one grabbed her other arm and dragged her into a car. Marry shouted for help, but no one came.

After an hour, in an abandoned parking lot, Marry lay on the ground, naked. There were bruises all over her.

Thinking of what they did to her, tears began to come to her eyes. "Everything I suffered was because of you, Baron and Tracy! I'll get you back for this!" she cried angrily. A stab of hate shot through her at the thought.

She crawled to her feet and got dressed. Then she tottered away.

At the same time, Baron drove Tracy to the house of Zouchs. As he turned to go, a cheerful voice called out behind him, "Baron!"

Baron turned his head, and saw Tracy running toward him. Next moment, she threw herself into Baron's arms and gave him a gentle kiss on his lips.

When Baron came back to his senses, Tracy had walked away.

Baron was still immersed in great joy. He couldn't help laughing a little. He licked his lips and yelled after her, "What brand of lipstick are you using, Tracy?"

Tracy stopped and turned back. "What?" she asked, confused.

"I quite like the smell," he said with a smile.

Tracy went crimson at the words. She ran off without another word.

Baron stared after her and smiled even more widely. He felt everything was so pretty and so glad.

Then he drove away, but before arriving at his hotel, Baron received a call from Susan.

"Where are you, Baron?" Susan sounded really worried on the phone.

"What's wrong?" Baron asked.

"Can you do me a favor? I am at the Marble Mountain." Susan sounded worried.

"Are you in some kind of trouble?" Baron asked, frowning. Engine noises could be heard clearly on the other end of the phone.

"Do you remember my fiancé, Paris? I wanted to break up with him, but he invited me to the Marble Mountain. I'm kind of terrified to be alone. Can you come to help me?" Baron didn't hesitate and said, "Text me your exact location. I'll be right there."

Susan was very helpful in the Imperial Mall tonight, so Baron couldn't just stand by and do nothing when she was in trouble.

After he got the text from Susan, he arrived at the Marble Mountain within ten minutes.

Baron saw many luxury cars galloping at full speed at the foot of the mountain. The roar of the engines filled the whole air. "Baron!" Susan looked gleeful, linking her arm with his.
