Invincible Heir

Chapter 179 I Promise

Feeling Baron's explosive pressure from a short distance away, Kyle suddenly had a bad feeling.

He sneered. "Kid, you need to back it up when you're mouthing off. That line you just said is enough for me to kill you for."

"Be careful, Mr. Chairman. That guy's name is Kyle. He's in charge of the Dynasty Nightclub. I hear he's got the Wilson family behind him. It was him who slapped Mr. Perry and kicked him across the ground." Terry's assistant was called Wyatt. Hearing him say that Terry had been beaten, Baron's eyes glinted sharply.

"Did he beat you up too?"

Baron asked, looking at a grimy Wyatt.

Wyatt shook his head and glared at the man besides Kyle, pointing, "It was him!"

"You have ten seconds to get over here and apologize, or suffer the consequences!"

Baron said, looking expressionlessly at the man in question.

Wyatt almost pissed himself at that. He'd just told Baron who'd hit him, he hadn't expected to demand an apology.

These men had even beat up Terry himself. He was just an assistant. No one was going to apologize to him.

"Don't be impulsive, Mr. Chairman. These aren't good people. We can't deal with them," Wyatt said.

Kyle's gang was shocked too. They hadn't expected Baron to demand an apology in a situation like this.

Soon, laughter erupted from the crowd. The brute who'd beaten up Wyatt was cockier than ever, "Is this punk for real? He wants me to apologize! I'm dying!"

Baron simply looked at his watch. "It's been ten seconds!"

Just as he finished speaking, his feet flickered, and his figure disappeared, flashing towards the brute.

At that moment, Kyle stood bolt upright, pupils constricting in horror.

Wham.

The same instant he stood up, the still-laughing brute was sent flying with a single punch by Baron.

All one hundred and eighty pounds of muscle man was sent flying a dozen meters away, falling heavily to the ground and fainting.

"Shit!"

"What just happened?"

"He's not human, is he?"

In that moment, countless shocked cries filled the air, and stunned expressions abound.

In all the time Kyle had worked for the Wilson family, he'd seen plenty of experts, but not once on this level.

Closing the distance of several dozen meters between them in the blink of an eye and sending one of his brothers flying with a single punch.

If Baron had been aiming for him, could he have blocked it?

"What do you want, kid?"

Seeing Baron suddenly look towards him, Kyle shook and wiped the sweat off his forehead.

Тар. Тар. Тар.

Baron's footsteps sounded like death approaching, each step seeming to call for his life, terrifying Kyle utterly.

In just three steps, Baron had come in front of him, face chilly as he told him, "Break the hand you slapped Mr. Perry with and the leg you kicked Mr. Perry with. Otherwise, I'll do it for you, and it won't just be one hand and one foot."

"God fucking damnit, you think I'm some coward just because I'm not going ape on you?"

Kyle might have been afraid, but he still lost his temper as he heard Baron tell him to cripple himself. "Get him!"

As he spoke, the twenty-odd men he'd brought with him rushed towards Baron.

Baron remained calm. "Seems like you want me to do it myself. In that case, I'll just break all your limbs!"

Before Kyle's men could reach him, Baron grabbed him by the arm.

"I'm with the Wilson family, you can't touch me!"

Feeling the pain come up his arm, Kyle let out a terrified bellow.

Crack.

"Agh..."

The sound of bone shattering and the pained moans of Kyle came out almost at exactly the same time. But it was just the start!

Following quickly, another three cracks sounded. Baron had broken Kyle's legs and the other arm.

Agonized groans filled the warehouse. Everyone looked at the scene in fear.

As for the twenty-odd men Kyle had ordered to rush Baron earlier, every one of them stopped several dozen meters away from him, not one of them daring to approach. Seeing Baron's power and methods, who would have had the guts to get close?

Kyle had just slapped and kick Terry once. Baron had broken all his limbs return.

This was a demon!

In the whole of the warehouse, other than Kyle's pained maons, there wasn't a peep from anyone else, who stared fearfully at Baron.

"Get the cargo loaded!"

Baron looked at Wyatt and said.

Wyatt recovered his senses and ran to have someone load the shipment.

Baron, in the meantime, made a phone call.

"Mr. Owen, are you planning on giving me back the Domom?"

Jerome took the call and asked hurriedly.

Ever since the Domom SPA had fallen into Baron's hands, it had been a long time, but Baron still wouldn't give it back.

Up until today, he hadn't dared bring it up to the family.

Baron said coldly, "Kyle's one of yours, right?"

He clearly remembered that Jerome had been ready to trade the Dynasty for the Domom.

Feeling Baron's hostility, Jerome hurriedly said, "Yeah, he's one of mine. Did the bastard offend you, Mr. Owen?"

"Come to the west district warehouse in twenty minutes to pick him up!"

With that, Baron hung up.

At the other end of the phone, Jerome raged, "Kyle, you piece of shit!"

He'd been getting desperate over the Domom already, but now Kyle had offended Baron to go with it. That was adding oil to the trash fire on his head right now. He didn't dare delay and sped towards the warehouse.

On the other hand, Terry had driven to the Rose Gardens, but the security had stopped him at the gate. He wasn't allowed in without a permit.

Terry could only phone Sion, but Sion wasn't picking up after a few calls. That put him in a state of panic and rage.

Ten minutes passed and he phoned upwards of a hundred times before Sion finally picked up.

"Mr. Perry, I'm obviously busy if I'm not taking your call. You're the general manager of River Construction Materials, don't you know better than that?" Sion said, dissatisfied.

"I'm at the gates, Sion, come on out!"

Terry didn't have the time to debate.

"Wait until I'm done eating!"

Sion hung up.

Hearing the empty beep from the receiver, the furious Terry slammed his fist on the driving wheel, snarling, "Bastard!"

After another half-hour, Sion walked out leisurely.

"Sion, give Kyle a call and have him move his men out the way so the cargo can ship out."

Seeing Sion, Terry went up and urged.

"You have to plead with me like you mean it, Mr. Perry. I can't help you if you're being like this."

Sion sneered.

Terry took a deep breath. "Sion, you're a generous man and you won't keep a grudge, right? I'm begging you, just give Kyle a call. We can discuss everything else when we get to the warehouse. How's that?"

"Hah!"

Sion let out a pleased laugh. "Since you're so sincere, Mr. Perry, it's not that I can't help you."

"What else do you want?"

Terry gritted his teeth.

"I want to be the general manager. So long as you can convince the chairman to put me there, I'll help you out. Of course, you can be my assistant." Sion finally revealed his goals.

Up until this moment, Terry finally understood that Sion was going after the general manager's position.

He wasn't stupid, and soon understood why Kyle had come up to block off the cargo and insist on talking with Sion. This was all probably Sion's doing.

"Fine, I promise!"

Terry muttered through his clenched jaws.☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
