Chapter 264
Chapter 264 Who Told You?
Edward was savagely beaten by Benjamin and couldn't fight back, and his two subordinates were naturally controlled by Curtis.
Edward tried to beg for mercy, but Benjamin wouldn't listen or give him any chance. Eventually, he lay on the floor motionless like a dead man.
Benjamin came out of the villa with Harper in his arms. He said coldly, "I want Summit Realty to disappear from Mayby tomorrow morning. As for him, find a reasonable reason and make sure he will never be able to turn things around in his life." Curtis nodded. "I got it."
The reason would become clear tomorrow.

Harper was taken directly to the hospital by Benjamin.
She woke up and found herself in bed. This was her second time in the hospital in the past few days.
She must have been pretty unlucky lately.
Harper turned her head and saw Benjamin sitting on the side. Before she could say anything, he asked softly, "You're awake. Do you feel uncomfortable?"
She shook her head. "How is the baby?"
"He is fine. Don't worry."
His reply finally relieved Harper.
She said in a low voice, "Can I go back to the apartment? I don't want to stay here."
After a moment of silence, Benjamin agreed.
Anyway, she was alright, and it was good to go home.
Because she hadn't had dinner yet, Benjamin bought some soup. He said, "Eleanor doesn't know about it. I just told her that you had work and were eating out." "Well, thank you."
Benjamin frowned slightly, dissatisfied with her words, but in the end, he didn't say anything. That night, some people slept soundly, while others were restless and could not sleep.
In another villa, Lauren frowned and looked anxiously at Patrick opposite her. "How could this happen? Wasn't it said the plan was perfect? Why did Benjamin suddenly appear?
A
He said calmly, "Things have happened. You have to calm down. Your overreaction will make Benjamin suspicious. So, Lauren, don't panic."
Lauren's face was pale. Even though it was already two or three o'clock in the morning, she was still not sleepy.
She clenched her fists so tightly that her palms were sweating.
Patrick stood up, approached her, and hugged her gently before saying, "Lauren, as long as I'm here, nothing will harm you."
"Patrick, I'm worried." Leaning on
Patrick's shoulder, Lauren brought
out the unique gentleness and tenderness of a woman to the
fullest, making him eager to pity her
and protect her at first sight.
Patrick comforted her gently. "Don't be afraid. I will handle it well. I will shut Edward up. But it seems Benjamin's anger isn't solely because of Harper."
"Isn't it because of her? Are there any other reasons?" Lauren asked in surprise.
Patrick stared at her carefully, with probing eyes, and asked softly, "Do you know Harper is pregnant?"
"No." Lauren shook her head subconsciously. Her face became rigid in shock, and her eyes widened in disbelief. She asked, "What did you say? Is Harper pregnant?"
She thought, "Harper is pregnant!
How is this possible?
How come I don't know anything?"
Benjamin had never revealed it to her.
Lauren kept shaking her head in astonishment.
Benjamin didn't disclose it, but he was suddenly unwilling to divorce. Lauren wondered if it was because of Harper's pregnancy.
Lauren's mind was in a whirl, and the more she pondered the matter, the more confused she became.
Frowning, she sat up straight, kept a distance from Patrick, and said furiously, "Is everything you said true? Who told you?"
