His Lethal Love

Chapter 101

Camille POV.

I was trembling like a leaf. It was dark everywhere. I couldn't see anything but I could hear my raspy breathing and pounding heartbeats. A gasp escaped my lips when I realised I was tied to a chair and my mouth was stuffed with something. I couldn't speak but choked as tears trickled from my eyes. What the hell was that place? I looked around but couldn't make out because it was still dark outside.

"Has she woken up?" I heard a familiar masculine voice.

"I haven't checked yet." Another unfamiliar voice said. A moment later I heard the door open and flashes of light hit my face. I pretended to be unconscious. I heard footsteps approaching me slowly.

"Well, she hasn't woken up yet." I could feel a smirk in his voice. I flinched when his hand caressed my face. "Poor woman, she has no idea what is about to happen to her." I shivered when his hand went down and down until it reached my breast.

"Sir," his man called him out and he stopped roaming his hand, stepping away from me. I fell against the chair in relief. I opened my eyes and looked dark again. They had just locked me in there in the cellar. I tried to shake my legs but they didn't move because my legs were tied to the legs of the chair. How am I supposed to get out of there? Maybe Conan would find me, he was the only one who could help me. Slowly the sun rose and sun rays penetrate through a small hole. Now, it was all visible. There was a lot of trash, beer cans, and cigarette butts in the small room where I was locked up. I didn't know where I was. There was a lot of noise coming from vehicles and machines. That place is somewhere near the city. I hope Conan will find me. Looking around, I couldn't find anything that could help me get rid of the rope. I breathed and closed my eyes, thinking of ways to get out of there. The first thing I had to do was release myself and then I had to find a way to escape from there. There was a wine bottle near a cartoon. I slid my chair so that I could reach it out. With my hands tied behind a chair, I held the bottle with my hands which had taken me minutes to get my hands on it. I slammed it against the leg of the chair and it broke into pieces. I was afraid someone had heard the broken glass. With the help of a glass shard, I began cutting rope. I sighed in relief when I freed my hands. From my mouth, I spit out a ball that was stuffed in there. As soon as I untied my legs, I stood up and looked around. Pressing a glass shard against my back I moved ahead but then my legs abruptly stopped when a tall dark figure appeared in front of me.

Gasping, I retreated my steps gazing at him with my horrified eyes. He was the same ghost mask man. "Hello, Cami." I choked, stepping back and pressing a glass shard against my back.

"Who are you?" I choked out. "What do you want?"

He brought out a sharp knife in between us. "You know what I mean?"

"Who are you?" I gritted my teeth out trying hard to be brave.

He laughed and held the mask before taking it off. My eyes grew wide as I watched him in disbelief. "Archie!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, it's Archie Garcia." He smirked, narrowing his eyes at me.

"How could you..." I was speechless as I released a rushed breath. "Oh my God, how could you do this to me?"

"Why couldn't I do this to you, Camille? You're the one who hurt my sister and tried to kill her on the day of her wedding."

"Do you still believe that I tried to kill your sister?" I laughed at his ridiculous thoughts. "Your sister was the one who was trying to kill me that day. I was just saving myself from her attacks. She was fucking psychopath..." Before I could finish myself my neck slit and the blood drained from the cut. I winced, groaning and covering my wound with my hand. I looked at Archie who was hovering over me with his bloody knife and red liquid dripping from it. There was a satisfied smile on his face.

He was about to attack me again when I pushed the glass shard right into his abdomen. He groaned and clutched his stomach before shoving me away roughly. I cried out when he grabbed my hair and pushed my head into the wall. Acute pain shot through my head when I was thrown against the concrete wall. Gritting my teeth I fist my hand and hit his face.

"Fuck off, bastard!" I got to my feet and hit him again. He winced and cupped his nose. I immediately lunged for his knife when it slipped from his hand and stabbed it into his gut. I cringed when his blood splashed on my face and Samuel's memory refreshed in my head. I was doing the same thing that I did to Samuel twelve years ago.

Gripping the knife I sprinted out of the room, looking around. I sighed in relief when I found the hallway empty. I slowly walked down, pressing my palm against my chest as my heart was pounding harder in my chest. I felt like I wanted to throw up. My stomach knotted when I saw a man appear in front of me out of nowhere. I halted, gulping hard and looking for an escape. He strode toward me and I took a step back. The hallway was narrow and there was no room other than that cellar. Either I had to return to the same cellar or fight with that man. I had no strength left as I was bleeding profusely. My vision blurred as suddenly one man turned into two. "Shit!" I hissed, desperately searching for a way to escape this nightmare.

The next moment I was thrown into the ground and was gripped by hair. My face flung to the side when a man smacked my cheeks. Suddenly the whole world spun behind my eyelids.

"Leave me!" I screamed when they dragged me into the same cellar. I almost believed that my world had come to an end when a familiar hand snatched me into his arms. I froze the moment I recognized his scent. It was so familiar. I knew him. I knew him very well.

I groaned when his warmth disappeared when he stood up and headed to those men. I tried to open my eyes but failed. The only things I listened to for the next few seconds were screaming, crying, and grunting.

*********

I peeled open my eyes and looked at the white ceiling. I groaned when my stomach hurt when I moved. I placed my hand on my abdomen and found a gauge. Everything refreshed in my head. I was in the cellar and then Archie, then two men... I sat down, scanning the unfamiliar place.

"What is this place?" I frowned and checked the time on the clock on the nightstand. It was half past 8 at night. "Oh my God, Scott!" I climbed off the bed and searched for my shoes but froze the moment the door opened and a man entered inside. I sucked in a sharp breath when I looked at him. I watched him unblinking and slap my face as if I was dreaming but unluckily I was not.

"Samuel!" I gasped in disbelief. He stepped up to me, I dragged my body backward on the floor. "Please, don't..." I slapped my face hard. "Wake up, dammit! Wake up!" I slapped and slapped and slapped but a hand shot out and stopped me. "Stop it, Cam," he said softly, gazing into my eyes. "It's not Samuel." He swallowed hard and I caught fear in his eyes. "I'm Scott."

I shook my head, laughing maniacally. "Do you think this is funny?" I yanked my hand from his grip and rose to my feet. "This is not funny! This time I won't fall into this trap." "Cam, please calm down!" He reached out to me and pressed my head against his chest. "Calm down!"

"No, no, no!" I hit his chest, trying to rip myself from him but he didn't let me go. I grabbed a flower vase from the nightstand and smacked it on his back but he didn't budge. He just kissed my hairline and stayed still. I hit him again but it didn't shake him. I attempted again but it would not work.

"Calm down." He kept repeating it while holding me tightly. "Please."

I released my breath while raising my trembling chin to look into his eyes. "Who are you?"

"Scott," he replied simply while holding my eyes.

I recognized him.

Scott sighed and walked out of the room. He appeared with a glass of water and handed it to me. I accepted it with hesitation and gulped the entire content in one go. I wiped my mouth and looked at him confused. I was speechless, I couldn't find a word to speak. I didn't know whom to believe. I didn't even know if I was dreaming, but probably yes.

I sat on the bed, staring at my hands. I could feel him standing but he didn't speak. He might have taken a hint because he left the room, letting me breathe calmly.
