Her Story: Rise Of Tiffany

Kenneth was helpless when Tiffany rejected his offer. He could not help but warn, “Tiffany, your actions are a little risky…”

“I’ve done all sorts of risky things. Besides…” Tiffany smiled. “I’m not alone.”

Tiffany refused Kenneth’s help because she didn’t want to owe him any more favors. Moreover, she had Richard backing her. So, she believed she was not alone.

“True.” Kenneth stood up and took one last look at Tiffany. Then he turned around and left the studio without looking back.

However, as soon as he walked downstairs, he met Melody. She was walking side by side with a classmate. The two of them were chatting and laughing lively.

When Melody saw him, her eyes lit up. She immediately jogged over with a bright smile. “Kenneth, you’re back in school?” She treated him as if she had forgotten about the doom she had caused upon Kenneth’s family.

Looking at the beautiful and moving face before him, Kenneth felt a strong sense of disgust. At that moment, he realized under that layer of skin was a vicious and rotten heart.

Kenneth immediately distanced himself from Melody. Disgust flashed across his sharp eyes. “Whether I come to school or not is my business. I don’t have to report to you.”

“Kenneth?” Melody was stunned by his words. Even her classmate was stunned.

Everyone knew Kenneth was a gentle soul, considerate, and good–tempered. Even though he came from a reputable family! he was not arrogant or impatient. On the contrary, he was extremely patient, gentle, and understanding towards everyone.

But of course, the only person he rejected was Tiffany, who had failed to woo him back then. But at that moment, his rejection had moved to Melody.

Melody’s classmate couldn’t stand it anymore. “Kenneth, you’re going too far. Melody has always been worried about you. It wasn’t easy for her during your absence. Melody asked out of kindness, and you have no reason to be so sour.”

Kenneth responded with a low sneer. “Thank you for your kindness.” With that, he walked past them with a cold attitude and left without any sense of guilt.

Kenneth realized his grandfather was right. His biggest and most fatal flaw was his soft–heartedness and indecision. Kenneth’s softness caused a huge blow to his family. So when he faced Melody again, he felt nothing but disgust.

Melody’s classmate was confused. Then, she carefully looked at Melody and asked, “Melody, what exactly happened between you two? Why did he suddenly cancel your marriage and treat you like this?”

“I don’t know.” Melody lowered her eyes slightly and restrained the anger within her heart. Her face remained pitiful and aggrieved. “Perhaps he still wants to return to Tiffany.”

“What? Tiffany? She’s already married to Richard, yet he’s still seducing him? What a shameless bitch!”

After the girl finished cursing, she turned around and saw Melody with red eyes. She could not help but sigh. “Melody, my heart aches for you.”

“It doesn’t matter.” Melody forced a smile.

It didn’t matter because she would be able to replace Tiffany soon. At that time, everything Tiffany had, including her position as Richard’s wife would be hers. ‘You’ll see!

Melody had been thinking for a long time. At midnight, she called Lorenzo and asked, “Lorenzo, how far has the experiment progressed? Can I hear the result tomorrow?”
