Zimmer, who was seated on the seat of honor, had finished reading the contract. He even took out the

“Grandpa, I think that this new CEO is aware of the value of Zimmers’s piece of commercial land, so he

gave us such a tremendous amount of funds. We should sign the contract as soon as possible and send

it to them tomorrow as a sign of our sincerity.

“I’m willing to take up the task. I’ll definitely send the contract back to the CEO of York Enterprise

tomorrow, safe and sound. I’ll even invite him over to come and visit us!”

Zack appeared like he would be able to achieve that. Now that they had the contract, it was more than

enough to prove that the new CEO valued the Zimmers highly. Hence, he was able to do a trivial thing

like that.

Besides, if he were the one who sent the contract to York Enterprise, he would be the project manager

then. As for Mandy, who would ever remember her credits?

of Zack. “Zack, so we’ll send you to go to York Enterprise tomorrow then.”

had been a married couple for three years now, and he had indeed fallen in love with her.

At that moment, his old phone started ringing all of a sudden. The minute he answered the call, he heard

Lilian shouting at him from the other end of the phone, “Harvey! How bold of you to stay out there instead

of coming home?! That’s fine! If you’ re reluctant to stay in the Zimmers, don’t come back here anymore

in the future!”

After hanging up the phone, his sister-in-law-Xynthia, called him too. “Harvey, it’s because of a good-for-

nothing like you. My sister is being bullied today. How daring of you not to come home. You’re such a

useless person!”

After those two calls, Harvey frowned slightly. He still did not know what had happened.

At that moment, he heard a knock on the door. His secretary-Yvonne, entered the office.

“Mr. York, you asked me to go and withdraw eight hundred thousand dollars from the bank. I’ve got them

now. Besides, I’ve converted part of the gold shares into dollars as per your request.” Yvonne put the

Amex Black Card in front of Harvey respectfully. Her CEO was indeed very wealthy. When she went to

carry out her tasks, she was shocked out of her wits by the amount of money in that bank account.

“I haven’t bought a car yet. Give me a ride home,” said Harvey. At first, he decided to return to the

Zimmers again. Since he had gotten the money, he would send it to Mandy then. He could give her a

hand again.

Mandy was deeply upset. It was clearly her contribution, but all of her credits had been snatched away

by Zack.

Besides, her company was still in need of eight hundred thousand dollars. She failed to get that from

Don. Now, she did not know where she could gain that amount of funds in such a short time. She was

indeed quite flustered.

Seeing that her sister was in a bad mood, Xynthia quickly called over her sister’s best friends–Cecilia

and Angel. As expected, her sister’s mood became slightly better after the three of them got together.

“By the way, Mandy. My sports shoes are d***y. Where is that useless person in your home? Ask that
