Harlow

Leo's POV

I was woken up by doors slamming and my brothers saying "fuck". I was snuggled into Harlow who seemed to be sleeping through the noise. I was pissed off from being woken up and hoped they didn't wake her up. She had been up through the night with nightmares. My door was opened and there stood Hendrix. "Found her" he called out startling Harlow who sat bolt upright.

"Downstairs now Harlow" Hendrix said. "No" she replied still sitting on my bed trying to take in her surroundings. "Harlow I will take you downstairs myself if you don't move your arse" Hendrix said stepping further into the room. I got out of bed putting myself between my sister and my brother. He was still clearly pissed off. All of my brothers were at my door by now. "Harlow I said downstairs NOW. MOVE" he yelled out causing Harlow to jump which was noticed by my other brothers. "Hendrix stop" Kody said also putting himself between Harlow and him. "Hendrix take a walk now" Kody said pushing him out of the room.

I turned to Harlow "you ok?" I asked but she didn't even look at me. She had this far away look in her eyes like she wasn't here. "Harlow" I called but she didn't respond. I walked over to her touching her on the shoulder but she flinched. Fuck, I'm going to kill Hendrix. "Hey Harlow, you are safe here. He won't hurt you" I spoke softly to her. Cameron and the twins were watching, Jax stormed off "I'll go after him" Jett replied before him and Cameron left my room as well. "Harlow, hey come back to me" I said shaking her shoulder a little. She jumped away from me standing beside my bed. "I need to shower she said grabbing her bag and heading into the bathroom. I followed her but heard the door lock.

I stormed downstairs looking for Hendrix. He fucken scared her badly and I wanted to know what his problem was. I walked into the kitchen to see Kody making coffee "where the fuck is he?" I asked. Kody swung around "Leo calm down. I sent him to the club to cool the fuck off" Kody replied. "She fucken flinched when I touched her. She was fucken scared Kods like really scared. She won't even go into her room. What the fuck were we thinking bringing her back here?" I said to him. "I know mate I know. We will work it out and I'll talk to Hendrix so he rains in the temper. We need to be careful around her" Kody replied. I just nodded my head before making myself some toast and sitting at the table.

Harlow came down the stairs and headed straight out into the backyard. She didn't even acknowledge Kody and I which hurt seeing she spent the night with me. "I'll make her some breakfast" Kody said before putting some toast on. Once he had made Vegemite toast he walked out the backyard and took the toast over to Harlow before coming back in. "I'm going to shower then I'll spend the day with her" I told Kody who nodded his head and continued to watch our sister from the window.

After my shower I went out to Harlow and asked if she wanted to head out for the day, she just shrugged her shoulders. Eventually she agreed so I took her out. I didn't have a place in mind, I just wanted to get her out of the house for a while. It was clear she wasn't comfortable there at all especially after Hendrix little outburst.

Harlow's POV

I spent the day with Leo just hanging out. We walked around the shopping centre and he brought me a couple of tops. We had lunch and then walked along the beach. He tried to talk to me but I couldn't open up to him, he would just tell my brothers everything and they had no right to know anything about me especially not Hendrix after him yelling at me this morning. He sent me spiralling. He knows I can't handle yelling because that's all mum use to do with me but he didn't care. They expect me to live in that house and gave me the last room I was in before I was sent away. My mother hacked my hair in that room and threatened to slice my wrists if I told anyone it was her. She told me none of them wanted me around and I was the cause of all the problems. I believed her because my father saw what had happened and took me to the park telling me I needed to go live with his sister like it was all my fault.

It was getting late and I didn't really want to go back to that house. There was no getting out of it though, we were expected for dinner. Hendrix had called Leo and told him we had to be home for dinner. When Leo pulled up I made no move to get out of the car. "Harl's I swear he wont hurt you" Leo said. I just continued to watch the front of the house. "Harl's I'll be with you the entire time and you can always go up to your room if it gets to much" he said. I just shook my head, I wasn't going into that room. "You don't want to go into that room do you?" Leo asked. I shook my head no. "Ok you can go into my room then" he replied. "I don't want them knowing" I whispered. "Ok I told Kody this morning but I'll let him know not to say anything. You can go to either one of our rooms any time you need a break ok?" Leo asked. I nodded my head before getting out of the car and following Leo inside the house.

We headed straight to the dining table and everyone was waiting for us. I sat next to Leo the furthest from Hendrix. I didn't bother looking at anyone at all. I just wanted to be with Toby, I had text him earlier to let him know what happened and he promised he would help me get into the room when he got here. Food was put in front of me and I started picking at it. "Harlow" Hendrix called out but I kept my eyes on my food.

"Harlow, please look at me" he tried again. I heard a chair scraping but didn't look up from my food. I felt someone's hand on my leg and I jumped. I saw Hendrix squatting next to me with his hand on my leg "Harlow, I'm sorry for yelling this morning. I would never hurt you, you need to know that" he spoke quietly to me. I just nodded before excusing myself to go to Leo's room. I couldn't be in that room with them all looking at me.
