All his family suddenly darkened their faces.
Sofia’s voice on the other end of the phone was a little
anxious, “Mr. Sanchez, Daisy has an accident and is now in the police station. Please help me.”
**
“What? Where are you now?” Brian hurriedly turned and walked toward the door.
“Stay!” Mr. Sanchez was trembling with anger, and before he could finish his words, Brian just kept walking without any
hesitation.
“Bastard! Stay here!” Simon also stood up and snapped.
Brian hung up the phone, turned around and looked at the angry elders in the living room, and sneered, “Ten years ago, when I
was most fragile, you didn’t care about my life, so there’s no need to care about me now.
“You...what are you talking about! Get back!!” Simon raised his hand and threw the cup on the coffee table toward Brian. The
cup rubbed against Brian’s body and fell to the marble floor, shattering into pieces.
Brian raced into the night in his sleek Ferrari.
Sofia was also a little panicked at this time, she seemed to have no other choice but to call Brian.
What she didn’t expect was that Brian came so quickly.
When she put down the phone and was still in a daze, Brian had already arrived at the gate of the community by car.
There were almost no parking spaces in the dilapidated community, debris was piled up everywhere, and the driveway was
extremely cramped.
Brian called Sofia, who hurried to the door.
She was wearing washed white jeans and a plain white T- shirt.
She drew pictures on everyone’s T-shirts, but her own was blank, and against her pale face, she was even more pitiful in the
night.
Sofia got into the back seat of Brian’s Ferrari, and Brian snorted and laughed, “So I’m your driver?”
Sofia was taken aback, then hurriedly opened the door and sat in the passenger seat in the front.
Her past experience made her unwilling to get too close to people, but she was sitting next to Brian. Although he was an
acquaintance, she was still sweating nervously.
She grabbed the seat belt, but couldn’t fasten it because she couldn’t use her left hand.
“I’ll help you!” Brian loosened his seat belt and leaned over his body against Sofia, it was so close that Sofia’s face turned slightly
red.
“What? Fear that I’ll kiss you?” Brian helped her fasten her seat belt, and his eyes met her slightly chapped dry lips. Her
lips were actually beautiful, making people feel like a kiss impulse.
Her eyes were also pretty, although they were a little empty and sad, but still very attractive.
Brian actually paused in front of her, raising his hand to help her adjust her hair, but Sofia subconsciously turn aside her face and
avoided his gaze.
Brian smirked, sat down properly again, and fastened his seat belt.
“Are you hungry? I’ll take you to eat something first.”
“Mr. Sanchez,” Sofia begged and looked at Brian. Now that Daisy was still in the police station, she had no mood to eat at all.
Brian started the engine, “Come on! Even if you have to go. through the procedures for bail, it should be tomorrow. So, I’ m afraid
your friend can only stay there for the whole night.”
Sofia was the one who asked for help, so she didn’t dare to say anything.
Brian took her to a high–end private restaurant with flexible business hours, which was very suitable for rich men like them to
take their little girlfriends out for a light meal and bond with each other.
The location of the private restaurant was kind of remote, and it took them half an hour to get there.
The restaurant was very elegantly decorated, and running water was even brought in under the private rooms, where koi were
raised.
Brian ordered a large table of dishes. Even the vegetarian dishes cost much and of course, they looked pretty appealing.
“Enjoy yourself then! I have contacted the lawyer, and we will go to the police station for bail tomorrow morning!”
Sofia looked at the exquisite dishes in front of her, feeling a little dazed.
It was not that she had never owned the wealth and honor before, she just felt like she returned to the world three years ago,
even for a moment, she felt at a loss.
