Chapter 114

Natalie whimpered.

She wanted to hide, but it seemed like she couldn’t hide at all. Every time she tried to escape, Josh firmly grabbed her chin, making her unable to

move.

But after a while, she was about to cry from being kissed.

She whimpered softly.

Until she had finished swallowing a bowl of sobering soup.

Josh let her go and watched her breathe for a while, then patted her on the back of her head, praising her with pleasure, “Yes, babe, good job finishing it all.”

Natalie was stunned for a few seconds, her bewildered eyes blinked lightly, as she didn’t know what had just happened. Then she pursed her lips, grabbed the small blanket, and huffed as she moved to the side, ignoring him…

Josh helplessly smiled. “Go to sleep, I’ll watch over you.”

After a while, the sound of even breathing came from the bed.

Josh got up, tucked her in, closed the curtains, turned off the bedside lamp, and with a dim gaze that seemed to be thinking about something, he stepped out quietly.

When Spencer saw him putting on his coat and going downstairs late at night, he asked suspiciously, “Sir, are you going out?”

“Yes.

Josh, with his cold pale wrist adorned with a rosary bracelet, calmly adjusted the cuffs of his suit jacket. “No need to turn off the lights, I’ll be back.”

“Alright.”

Josh left, driving his McLaren.

The McLaren drove through the night of Gobis. It was about 9:30 p.m., and the city was brightly lit.

Half an hour passed.

The McLaren stopped in front of a grand building.

In front of the building were two large words: Sherman Group.

Josh squinted his eyes, and a mysterious and sinister curve appeared at the corner of his mouth.

As if he had timed it perfectly, Brian happened to come out with several of his business partners at this moment.

As he stepped out, Brian happened to see Josh leaning against the car.

Josh’s beautifully carved face, as pale as jade, was incredibly handsome, but his eyes were like deep pools, bottomless, emitting a cold aura between

his brows.

Their gazes locked.

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

Brian turned back and smiled at the several executives. “I have something to attend to temporarily, so I won’t be seeing you off individually.”

“Alright, see you next time!”

After seeing off the executives, Brian met Josh’s gaze.

Josh still had his proud and contemptuous posture, but this time, there was a hint of fierceness in his eyes.

“Mr. Sherman.”

Josh’s eyes were slightly cold, his tone lazy. He casually opened the back door of the McLaren, his voice lower and smoother than usual, “I remember you’ve always wanted a fair competition with me. Well, I happen to be available today, so I’ll indulge you.”

Brian didn’t move, his gaze coldly fixed on him, seemingly pondering what he was up to.

“What?” Josh raised an eyebrow, slightly mocking. “Chickening out?”

“The most noble man of Gobis is afraid of someone like me?” Josh taunted with a smile.

Brian’s gaze narrowed slightly, and he sneered, “There’s nothing in this world that I, Brian Sherman, am afraid of!”

Josh smirked. “Be my guest.”

Brian got into the car with large strides.

Josh sat in the driver’s seat, fastened his seatbelt, and without checking if Brian had done the same, started the engine. The car shot out like an arrow released from a bowstring, directly charging forward.

A loud bang came from the back seat!

It sounded like someone’s forehead hitting the front seat!

Josh smiled imperceptibly.

Brian rubbed his forehead, his face turning dark instantly!

After about forty minutes, the McLaren arrived at a boxing gym. Josh unfastened his seatbelt, got out of the car, and Brian looked at the signboard of the boxing gym, following closely behind.

The two of them arrived at the sixth floor of the boxing gym.

This place was usually booked 24 hours by the wealthy, and although Josh hadn’t booked it, it was still available.

But they were not entirely available…

As soon as the two entered, they saw Chester and Hayden boxing.

Chester and Hayden had secretly taken over Josh’s territory, hence they looked a bit guilty.

When they saw Josh raise an eyebrow, the two of them obediently said in unison, “Uncle Josh!”

Josh frowned and glanced at the two of them.

Seeing Josh’s unfriendly expression, Chester and Hayden thought they had said something wrong again. They glanced at each other, their bewildered eyes still showing clear foolishness.

Josh didn’t bother with them anymore.

After entering, he took the boxing gloves from the staff and casually threw a set to Brian. Then, he loosened his tie with one hand, took off his suit jacket, removed his rosary bracelet and watch, and quickly put on the boxing outfit.

Hayden whispered to Chester, “What’s going on? Is Uncle Josh going to fight Brian?”

Chester raised an eyebrow. “Seems like it!”

He chuckled. “It’s a meeting of rivals; there is jealousy in the air!”

Hayden laughed. “Then we better prepare some melon seeds, peanuts, and mineral water, and call the cheerleaders! I’ll go now…”

Just as Hayden was about to leave, Chester pulled him back. “Don’t go! It’s starting!”

The two men in front of them were already dressed, fists clenched, and the atmosphere was on the verge of exploding…
