Chapter 111

Natalie mused, ‘Is it too late for me to regret now?”

She slowly and mechanically turned her head to look at Elizabeth.

Elizabeth hinted at Natalie with her eyes, “It’s too late to regret it now.”

Natalie arrived at Norton Bar with them.

The sky was dim outside, and it was the most bustling time in the bar. The air inside was filled with the smell of alcohol and cigarettes. Music was playing on the dance floor, lights flickering non–stop, and men and women oozing charm.

Elizabeth led Natalie and the staff inside. They found a booth and sat down. A few moments later, a waiter came in and served many drinks. All the staff drank toast after toast to each other and celebrated happily.

Elizabeth stood up first and said, “Thanks to my best friend Nat’s help, the Scott Group has today’s achievements. Let’s toast to her together!

The rest echoed, “Thank you, Ms. Linney!

Huck also stood up and said to Natalie, “Cheers!”

Then everyone stood up to propose a toast to her.

Natalie didn’t dare to drink alcohol, so she replaced it with coffee.

Elizabeth put her arm around Natalie’s shoulder and said, “Don’t worry! I’m here. I’ll ask the driver to send you back later!”

Natalie didn’t want to disappoint her, so she sipped the whisky.

However, after taking a sip of whiskey, she choked several times, and her cheeks burned red.

Her pretty face grew pink and lovely.

Several male employees were stunned by her beauty.

Even Elizabeth was attracted to her. She pinched Natalie’s little face and said, “I’m sorry, baby. I forgot that you couldn’t drink.”

Feeling dizzy, Natalie shook her head and said, “It’s okay.”

More drinks were served.

The booth was filled with laughter.

Meanwhile, at the Gobis International Airport, Josh just went down the accommodation ladder.

He returned from Astoria overnight and spent another six hours on the plane. When he arrived at Gobis, it was almost eight o’clock at night.

Josh had been resting on the plane with his eyes closed.

He didn’t find several missed calls from Andrew until he got off the plane and opened his phone.

Maybe because Josh failed to answer the phone, Andrew texted him instead.

Andrew: [Mr. President, I’m sorry that I failed to pick up Mrs. Franco. At first, she asked me not to pick her up tonight. But I still arrived at the Scott Group later and found that most employees had left.]

There was a second message followed an hour later.

It read: [Don’t worry, Mr. President. I have just found that Mrs. Franco went to the Norton Bar for dinner with the staff of Scott Jewelry.]

Josh frowned when he saw the word Bar“.

At this time, a Lincoln Limousine slowly drove and stopped in front of him. The driver in a suit lowered the window and respectfully greeted him, Mr. President.”

Martin hurriedly carried Josh’s luggage, stuffed it into the trunk, and opened the car’s back door.

Josh got in the car. Martin sat in the passenger seat and asked, Mr. President, where are we going now?”

Josh rubbed between his eyebrows.

His slender fingertips gently stroke the rosary bracelet on his cold white wrist. After a while, he raised his eyes and said, “To the Norton Rar

Two hours passed, and Natalie and the others had already undergone three rounds of drinking.

Natale had planned to drink one glass at first but couldn’t resist the othersenthusiasm, so she drank a few more glasses.

Her brain was buzzing now.

All the figures in front of her seemed to be drifting.

As Josh walked into the bar, he saw such a scene.

Natalie’s cheeks were soft and pink. Her pair of alcohol–watery eyes were filled with confusion, with seductive hues implied at the end. Her full lips were covered in water droplets, making her even more alluring.

The men around looked at her frivolously.

Josh’s eyes suddenly filled with anger.

His chest was shrouded with gloominess. He felt as if others were coveting his belongings.

Sitting next to Natalie, Elizabeth was still conscious.

She put her arms around Natalie’s shoulder and said drunkenly, “Nat, I feel really happy for you! You finally got a good husband! Hiccup… From now on, you should be happy!”

Natalie frowned with her beautiful eyes and pushed Elizabeth away. She said in a coy voice with the smell of alcohol, “Who said that? He… He is not good at all!”

Josh’s tall figure suddenly paused on the way to her.

Martin, standing behind Josh, thought in shock, “What?

‘Oh my!

Mrs. Franco seems to be speaking ill of Mr. President!

I swear, this is the biggest onosecond I’ve ever had!

Elizabeth raised her eyes in surprise, “Isn’t he good enough? Have he done something bad to you?”

After drinking, Natalie murmured, looked at Elizabeth, and confessed, “You know what…”

Next… Martin saw Natalie whisper something to Elizabeth’s ear.

She talked for about two minutes.

Judging from Natalie’s expression and Elizabeth’s face which gradually filled with righteous indignation, Martin thought Josh’s crimes seemed too many to be written and appalling!

Martin was speechless,

Josh was speechless too.
