Forgive us

Just as Macey and Johan finished their dinner break, they saw the officers from this morning walking into the bar. Tyler stood to go towards his sister with two of his mates who were also officers. Tyler planned to intimidate his sister. He had several drinks and couldn't wait to scare the shit out of her. He liked the feeling of power and after this morning with his brother, he needed to feel like a man again.

Macey headed behind the bar taking over for Raph so he could go on his break. Cherry was covering breaks tonight and immediately pulled Macey into a bear hug. "I shouldn't of pushed you to speak to them, I'm so sorry Mace" Cherry stated. Macey nodded her head before getting herself situated.

The officers were scanning the bar before spotting Macey and heading over. Tyler had stalked over to the bar with his friends and had just made it to the front to be served. "What can I get you?" Macey asked not really looking at who she was serving. These people were just orders to her and it was busy so she wanted to be quick. "Macey, Macey, Macey. Did you really think that it would be that easy to get rid of us? I found you once, didn't I? Diesel might be behind bars but my mates have my back. I can do what I want including beating your arse and nothing will happen. Now be a good girl and get us our drinks" Tyler slurred out. Asher was stuck on the side of the bar and couldn't get through the crowd.

Macey looked up and saw her brother and two of his friends who used to work at the local police station. Macey wasn't going to back down though, the officers from last night were right behind these guys. "You have all been cut off" Macey responded confidently. "Listen here bitch, get me my drinks or I will let my mates have their way with you. Don't forget we are the law" Tyler bit out.

Macey shook her head "Get out now" she barked alerting Greg who was doing the rounds in the bar to a problem. "Do you remember these boys Macey? They made the reports of abuse go away. I owe them one and I am repaying my debt tonight. They each get a turn with you. Get your shit before I drag you out of here kicking and screaming" Tyler yelled. By this stage, Johan, Greg and Cherry were right beside Macey.

"Sargent, I just believe this officer here admitted that he and his mates here tampered will police evidence of a crime" Officer Upton spoke causing all three men to spin around. "You three are under arrest for threatening and intimidation of a witness, tampering with evidence, tampering with a witness and you will be reported to the police commissioner. Would you like me to read you your rights?" The sergeant spoke up.

The Sargent read all three men their rights before escorting them out of the bar. Asher had made it to Macey just as the officers arrested the three who had threatened her. "Are we going to have problems?" Officer Upton asked Asher if she was sick of dealing with these people. They thought they were above the law because one of them was a police officer. Asher shook his head no m. "I'm just here to stop them hurting her again" Asher replied earning a nod from the officer.

"Two down one to go" Jeff said with a small chuckle as the crowd cheered at the removal of Tyler and his mates. "I'm so sorry Jeff, I'll go get my stuff and get out of here" Macey replied. She had caused so much trouble there was no way Jeff would not fire her now. "Macey, you get your arse behind the bar and do your thing. You are not the problem, they are. Will any more brothers be popping up to cause problems?" Jeff asked as a joke but realised that was a mistake when Macey turned to look at Asher.

Asher threw his hands up in surrender. "I swear I'm not here to cause trouble at all. I was here to stop him" Asher rushed out causing Jeff to nod. "Get back to work, you guys we have customers" Jeff called out before he got to work to help clear the backlog of waiting patrons.

Tyler and his two mates were taken to the police station. There Sargent was called and told what had happened. He was furious with the allegations and confirmed there would be an investigation. Officer Upton assured him she would be submitting reports higher than him because dodgy cops usually meant dodgy bosses. She was not going to let this go, she couldn't stand men who abused women and children or officers who used their power the way they had.

Raph soon came back from his break just as they were slowly down allowing him to restock the glasses and chat to Macey. "So doll, I know we only just met but I'm here for you. If you aren't safe going home, I have a spare room for you" Raph stated. "Thanks, Raph, I appreciate the offer. I live at the uni in the dorms. They can't get in without the key or being invited in by someone who lives there" Macey replied.

Raph nodded his head in understanding. "Doll, how about coffee tomorrow?" Raph asked, he liked the girl and she clearly had a shitty home. He wanted her to know she had people in her corner. Raph felt drawn to Macey for some reason. He felt like they would just click as friends if they got to know each other. " I have to meet my brother tomorrow but want about Monday?" Macey asked.

"You moving in on my girl?" Johan called from the side of the bar. He wanted a drink, well an excuse to speak with Macey. Macey laughed shaking her head and grabbed a water taking it over to Johan and giving him a quick peck on the lips. "I'm more interested in your partner than Macey. While she is hot as fuck, she isn't my type" Raph replied while pointing at a now red Greg.
